Chapter 3: World Power System
Listening to the news, Azel sit attentive on the couch.
"According to the Hunter Association, The classified B dungeon. Is miscommunication of the report. That a classified B Dungeon, is reported to be C Dungeon. There are still under going investigation, of what really happened. And if you look~" The news bring noises to the house, bringing warm feeling in the house.
"Azel! azel! Come to mommy. We're now going to eat!" His mother called upon him in the kitchen.
"Yes, mother!" Azel answer back. Because of his tiny voice, it sounded a cute child. And a personality of a stoic, it looked like a child that pouting.
Getting the remote, he press the volume up. And walk to the dinning room. There, his mother Ellen Sigel. Putting the food and plate in the table. On his back, a child of one year old child is playing on her hand.
This is Ellizabeth Sigel, Azel little sister. Ellizabeth father, is the scum last year. And his mother last relationship. Azel is not a man that think, if were the thing come, is the same. Azel doted on his little sister with all of his care.
It might be human emotion. But when Azel see's his little sister eye's. He remembered that scum, And wanted to killed that man now. But the problem is, he still have no power to do that.
Well the thing is, Mana in this world is not exist. Unlike on his old world, before he can gain power. He needed to wait to turn 16 to awaken his power. He can't wait that, he needed power now. Before he can turn 13, only 8 years before the deal. It's a good thing that, before he turned to be a necromancer. His first career is a warrior, so when he find out that he can't practice necromancer. He secretly trained on his room, his body might be skinny but his internal muscle is tight.
Before he can take a job, there a problem. First, his body. He cant fight head on, so he will kill in the dark. Second, the job might be have awakened person or a bodyguard. So basically fighting head on is not really a option. Third, gaining big pack muscle on child is not a good thing. But making a foundation little by little for the future is good.
He's advantage is his agile and his tiny body. Perfect for the job of assasin. Next is he can do the job stabbing the target without them noticing. Because of this little innocent body.
So over-all choosing to be assassin in the first place is the most optional path. And it will benefit him, in the future when he became a magician again. Dodging and making distance is essential to a long range.
So Azel is training is not outer muscle, he focus on inner muscle. A good assasin is needed to move fast. But before they can do that, they needed to have a strong inner force and a unbreakable bone and muscle. With a sudden movement of body, outer muscle is not needed. You need to have body that can witstand that force.
Concealing pressense is not a problem, with his experience. He can do that now, but still, he practice. Stealing wallet of the man talking to he's mother but secretly checking his mother sexy body.
They lucky that, there a law in this world. If in his old world, he might be already stab that pervert on his neck.
Stealling is needed right now, but he didn't steal to the good person or hard-working. He only steal to scum to the bottom.
He's money that he get. Is in the safe place. Because there's a way to get power before awekened. Buying Monster core.
Azel is currently saving up to buy a Mana core. Monster core that can get to a poison red toad. A F-class poison type monster, that have 2 ability. First ability, Paralize. A skill that can paralize enemy in 10 second before they cannot move within 5 minute. Duration none, Available used, as long the user can use it. Next ability, stealth. But he doesn't care about that, the most important to him right now is the paralize. Good for assassin and for his puny body.
Even he think about the other skill. He cannot get it, base on his information. Monster core E-B can only take one skill, A class monster core can take 2 skill. S class monster core can only take 3 skill. SS class monster core have no info whatsoever.
And there's no limit of how you can have skill. But there 2 flow in that. First, low level skill will not be effected when you become strong. Example of that, is poison red toad. Skill "Paralize", will only affected to a hunter below B class. F class will be paralize in 5 mins, but it can be counter by using skill like heal or anything that can counter the effect. In C class hunter will be affected in 2 mins. While B class will only effect 1 sec. So even you take many skill it will not be affected when you became strong. It will just be hindered in your ways.
Second, there's a test before you can have the skill of that monster. They call it "Dimensional Link", where you will fight the monster of that monster core. If you are gonna take a skill of F class monster, you will fight it until it died. But when you died, you will not gonna be dead in the real world. Only one skill will disappear on your card, randomly. And if you win and fight again, There's now two F class monster to fight. Monster that you fight previously, and the new monster that you wanna have skill.
It all work in the same way of any hunter class. SS-E hunter.
In the internet, the most recorded skill is 2 SS class monster core. But of how many SS class skill he have, is no information.
"Azel, come sit. eat your breakfast." His mother Ellen called him.
"Yes mother." Azel said.
His mother is only aged 26, but still her maiden look and young body is not faided. Even she have 2 child. But love life have no luck on her. It might be her fault to be a weak when it come on love.
But to Azel, it might be his fault. It might be his existence, to bring misfortune to others.
Ellen take off the baby bag strap on her shoulder. And carefuly put Ellizabeth on baby cradle on her side and sit on her spot.
"What do you want on your 5th birthday Azel?" Ellen ask.
"Nothing." As long the two of you by my side. he add inwardly.
"No, that's not good Azel. Kid like you most need something" Ellen ask on her child. Her child is not part of every child that she know. Normal child want toy or money, but her child Azel didn't request anything like that.
Her child will just watch t.v and sometimes will wash the dishes. Or will take care of his little sister. The most thing he always do is, always by her side. She worried for her boy, to miss the memory that he can remember when he became old.
"Azel, please." Ellen ask her child worriedly.
Azel on the other hand is never reject his mother when she look to him like that.
"Okay.. mother..."
"Really! good good good. So what do you want?" Ellen said hurriedly. Happy for her boy.
Azel think, of what he want.
"How about mother we go to the amusement park?" Azel just throw what children want.
"Good idea! We can have fun there, we can eat cotton candy. Or i can buy you a toy that you wanna want~" Ellen said happy. Planning the happy day of her boy.
Azel on the other hand watch her mother giggle and talk. That his lips smile a little, because of this warm moment that he can cherish.
