Chapter 3: chapter 2 The Process

While sitting in yet another boring staff meeting, listening to both Severus and Binnd drone on about their students, Albus on the other was thinking about next year and his yearly struggle to find someone to take the position of teaching Defense Against the Dark Arts.

He knew that both Voldemort and Harry took the bait, and by the end of the year their showdown will be official and the dark lord will be once again driven back into hiding.

Everything was falling into place once again, the boy was weak and malleable. And Voldemort was weak since he had to posses people to survive. Yet my he once again would have to find somebody else to take that blasted cursed position.

Minerva on the other hand had to physical restrain herself from acting, when Severus started degrading some of her lion cubs, after what seemed to be thirty minutes of him bashing young Harry, that he finally moved on and this time started put down her whole house.

But right before she lost control of temper, that Albus Dumbledore suddenly sat up as if someone had stuck a needle in his bum. He glanced over at his deputy and his spy to see if they had felt the same thing he just did.

Neither had even budged, tell him that he was the only one who felt it.

Minerva immediately noticed the out of character behavior of her Headmaster and friend before asking, "Is something wrong, Albus?"

"For a second there I felt a very powerful wave of dark magic"

Minerva McGonagall, as well as several other staff members, winced at this. Even Quirrell did, Albus casted a almost indistinguishable look at him before looking at Severus Snape.

"But it seems that i may have been overreacting, since none you felt it that must mean that it is either far away or not as strong as I had imagined"

Albus said effectively calming his staff, But in the back of his mind gears were already turning. There was no way that this was normal. Not only that Quirinus Quirrell whom was effectively possessed by Voldemort didn't even flinch at the sheer power behind that display of dark magic.

This needs to be investigated.

It had been exactly a year since Odysseus had arrived in this plane, and things were going very well.

Odysseus always knew he was different, since he could remember he'd always had different memories in his head. But now they had finally made sense.

You see back in his in home plane he was you call a 'Chosen one', which meant that he was born with memories of a past life.

And in Odysesus's case it meant being born with many different memories of different races, from different planes.

And apparently one of his old memories had in depth information about this plane. Using that he decided to do the one thing his old memories could not do, and that was destroy this Lord Voldemort character.

When his memories awakened at the book store, he had started his quest immediately. He quickly used a secret passage into the castle.

After casting an invisibility spell and made his way on the the seventh floor, where he used the room of Requirement with reckless abandon.

He essentially used 'Scholars touch' on every book within the castle, from Dumbledore's private collection, to the restricted section, the founders personal libraries that were still hidden, and even other professor's personal diaries.

It still took him three days to be free of the headache it caused him, but in the long it was well worth it in his opinion.

So a week after arricing in this plane he went in a Horcrux hunt, one that lasted only three days.

First he started with Ravenclaw's Diadem, removing the piece of soul and placing it in a special container was fairly easy.

After that he followed the feel of dark magic towards the grifindor dormitories, and while the boy who is memories told him was named Harry Potter was asleep.

He used a spell to extract the piece of soul after he had casted an extra sleeping spell on all the rooms occupants, and a silencing spell for hood measure.

The soul had trashed and screamed around like a banshee, yet he removed it from the boys scar he put it in a soul coin that housed all the previous piece he had removed from the diadem

following that he went after the the ring in the Gaunt shack, and then to sneaking inside number 12 Grimmauld place and taking Salazar Slytherin's locket and replacing it with a fake right under Kreature's nose.

But all that after pilfering the Black library that is. When all said and done he went to Gringotts and opened a vault, thinking back on it that may have been one of the single funniest days in his life.

The sight of goblins jaw dropping that far down was a memory worth saving for a lifetime.

Flashback

The trip over to Gringotts was an uneventful one, consisting mostly of a long walk and memorization of the Alley and it's establishments.

Soon Oddyseus stood in front of the building that a passerby had pointed out. It seemed an awfully proportioned and over designed mess, with slanted walls and a gothic appearance that could give a vampire cult a run for their coin.

What Oddyseus did not expect, entering the bank, was a horde of goblinoid like creatures stuffed into fine garments. I hate this already, now I need to suppress an urge to murder as well as keep a level head in a totally strange and different plane to my own.

Oddyseus came to what seemed to be a front desk of sorts. An ugly goblin with a nicked ear and fine golden spectacles loomed over the massive hardwood desk, peering at him with a suspicious glance. I hate goblins

"Current account or new patron." The goblin clerk said imperiously.

"New account." Oddyseus responded, clean and cordial, no needless time wasting banter, he could appreciate these semi-intelligent pests more than their cousins back home.

"And how would the good sire finance this account, the sir seems to be of adolescent age and not in keep with employ."

"A deposit of family heirlooms."

"Very well sir shall follow the attendant to sir's left"

Odysseus followed as instructed, keeping an eye out for any danger, the bank was run by goblins, and a goblins greed is only dwarfed by it's lack of intelligence.

They entered a large room, cracking plaster and a vaulted ceiling showing the age of the establishment. The local spellcasters would never keep them around if they were unfair in their business.

"Present wares for deposit or exchange"

The attendant said in a rasping, but still somewhat noble voice.

"Exchange,"

Odysseus carefully doffed his belt and upturned it.

"gems, coinage and assorted valuables."

With each word spoken a spew of valuables ejected themselves from the bag, at the end the table itself was flooded.

The goblin that was sitting in front of had his mouth open so wide, that you could fit a dragon egg in it without even touching his lips.

Odysseus walked out of Gringotts with a sly smile on his face, in this plane he seemed to be as rich as an old money family, or so the goblin attendant explained while shoveling coin into his bag.

He had placed 99.9% of his wealth in his vault, and only took .1% percent with him. That seemingly small number, amounted to about nine hundred million galleons

If he wanted to in a few years he could obtain a horde of gemstones from elemental earth to exchange for proportionately higher profit than in his home plane.

But that aside he walked towards his first target Ollivanders, a pouch he received as a complimentary service was filled to the brim with the local coin.

Walking in to the shop, he saw an old man standing behind am old counter cleaning what seem to be a wand.

Odysseus didn't need a wand, for all it was worth after studying this planes magic laws. A wand was nothing but a crutch in his opinion, but doing magic without ine would garner him to much attention from the public.

Hence he came here today in order to remedy that situation, the man for his part looked up at his new customer.

his silvery eyes bore onto him like hot knife through butter, yet they were gentle as of that mother assessing her babe.

Smilling maniacally he said immediately.

"You young sir will no doubt be a challenge that is for sure. Never have i seen one so strong at such a young age, I can guarantee you, that your old wand could not keep up with your power output."

Ad soon as he finished he quickly rushed to the back of the store, a few seconds later he returned with four boxes clutched beneath his armpits two in each.

Putting them down he opened one and handed him a wand. Before he had even closed his hand over the handle he had pulled it back and was putting another in his hand.

"The wand chooses the wizard. We'll know when we have found the right one."

They tried all four wands, the first barely touched his hand. All the while the whole time he was muttering lengths and materials.

He stopped and looked deep into Oddyseus's eyes,

"I know which one is for you." He disappeared into the back of the store.

"This is the last wand I made with my father's help; it's more like the wands shape themselves using my hands. We had no idea who such a long wand would be for. It has been waiting a very long time for you."

He pulled out a wand that was fifteen inches long.

"It is made of mahogany, with a with a thestral hair core. Normally we would not have used thestral hair, but it seemed right for this one. Thestral hair and mahogany make a good combination for battle type spells, but also for all other types."

Oddyseus firmly grasped the handle of the wand. Suddenly he could see everything in sharp relief, as if the whole world had just come into focus.

He felt the air around him tingling, like thousands of tiny shocks zapping all around him. Purple sparks shot from the end of the wand. "That was kinda cool," he said while smilling.

Which Ollivander returned simply with his own smile. He paid for his wand and stepped back out on the street.

After leaving diagon alley, he made his towards the closest muggle real estate agency he could find.

Two hours later he walked out with the deeds to five manors one in Scotland, one in Ireland, one in London, one in the isle of man and the other in Berkshire called the De Vere wokefield estate.

Apparently they were having financial troubles and the owners did not want to put in the money of they did not have to do so, I decided to pay them double if they somehow manage to get the local parish off the pro6in less than five months.

The deal was sealed immediately, as for the other property I bought they would all be needing extensive repairs since they were all abandoned manors and castles.

The goblins were very happy that gave them the task of repairing my manors, that they immediately upgraded me to valued customer status, a feat very rare in the goblin commity.

At the end of the day I walked away knowing that my manor in Berkshire would be ready in seven months, while the others would be ready in ten.

With that done I waited for the sun to set, before I broke into Gringotts took Hufflepuff cup's from Bellatrix Lestrange's vault before replacing it with a fake and high tailing out of there.

The diary was as easy as taking candy from a baby, I casted a spell that temporarily turned me Into a ghost.

With my memories I knew where Lucius Malfoy kept it, when I enters the hidden room I quickly located the item in question.

After putting it in a bag of holding, took out a replica and casted a few dark spells and curses on it. I effectively turned it into a form of magical leech, ine6 that suck both magic and vitality from the one who writes in it.

Leaving the room I made my way into Lucius Malfoy's son Draco, on the way there I casted a dream catcher spell on his wife Narcissa.

The spell will allow me to enter her dreams and physically interact with her, I plan on using this development to drive a wedge between them.

After dealing with Narcissa I entered Draco's room and placed the diary under his pillow after casting a compulsion charm on it before quickly exiting the mansion.

Flashback end...

Oddyseus apparated to a small chain hotel that he owned a significant share in. He made his way towards the elevator that led directly to the penthouse, needed to sleep.

He thoroughly locked and warded the doors and windows before shedding his filthy cloak and collapsing into bed. Morning would be soon enough to tackle the migraine of problems he had to deal with.

Though he was smilling at his achievements he'd made this year. Sighing Oddyseus closed his eyes, this year had been very productive.

Despite his breakup with Lucinda Thomsonicle-Pocus tonight, life has been great. And tonight he will enjoy his fun with Narcissa.
