Chapter 34: Chapter 34: Dragon Breaking Pill
Five days had passed by since Feng Qin and Long Yuyin arrived in Sky Fortune Kingdom.
And ever since Feng Qin got his sword, both of them focused on doing two things to pass their time: cultivating and researching for Long Yuyin's tail problem.
From morning to noon, excluding when he eats, Feng Qin had been polishing his martial arts, trying to get them all to reach complete mastery.
While at night he consolidates his cultivation, using the herbs he got, until there was almost no problems and he could start advancing towards the next level. In fact, just a day ago, he managed to reach rank 17!
It was quite shocking for him to find out as it would usually take him at least two months to advance by a single rank. This really made Feng Qin happy.
But for the most part of his cultivation, he had been enthusiastically training his sword skills ever since he got the Heavenly Yang Sword, especially since he was most proficient in it and that the sword looked cool as hell.
By how fast he was cultivating now, it would take at least several weeks for him to reach rank 20 and gain a second spirit ring. And at that level, he would be able to start training to use a Earth rank Martial Skill and the Sword Immortal's memories had a whole useful bunch of them that he wanted to use.
If he continues with his pace, and does become a Spirit Grandmaster and starts practicing more advanced martial arts, Feng Qin was confident he would be able to take on Spirit Ancestors!
Probably even defend against a Spirit King...but that was all theories on his part right now, having not met and sparred with anyone on that level of cultivation yet.

Although she was going through several books and legal informants, Long Yuyin was also cultivating and had managed to raise her spirit power to the peak of rank 31 in day three of when they arrived in the kingdom.
But that wasn't all.
As on the fourth day, when Feng Qin was browsing through the memories of the Sword Immortal, he had found a few suitable Martial Arts for Long Yuyin to train in and decided to hand them over towards her and see if she wanted to use them.
Understandably, she was shocked and in awe of the Martial Arts Feng Qin gave her.
Although she herself had her family's set of Martial Arts and a tailored cultivation technique, made specifically for her and their clan's Spirit: Golden Blood Dragon, the Martial Arts Feng Qin gave her were of a completely different level.
They were called Blood Bending Style, Fire Bending Style, and Shadow Tail Blade Arts. All three at the High-Human Rank.
With his guidance, Long Yuyin started practicing those Martial Arts, which were meant for her to use her control over the fire element, blood element and her tail as a weapon, and found out that they were a perfect fit for her.
With the Shadow Tail Technique, Long Yuyin was able to use her elongated tail to its full potential, cutting through solid objects and even steel with ease. The technique combined Long Yuyin's mastery of fire and blood bending, allowing her to imbue her tail with a fiery crimson aura and draw strength of her Golden Blood Dragon spirit even without undergoing Spirit Body Enhancement.
As she trained and honed her skills with the Shadow Tail Technique, she felt the power coursing through her body and her tail. The movements felt natural and effortless, as if the technique was made specifically for her unique abilities.
In just a day of training, she had already achieved initial success of mastery on all three of her Martial Skills. A day! It would take at least three days for a normal martial artist to even comprehend a single one.
With a lot of hard work and training, the two of them had spent five days in the Sky Fortune Kingdom, grinding through their cultivation and research, just going through their cultivation days in peace.
That was until they saw the posters for a tournament.
Feng Qin and Long Yuyin were having some small talk as they were heading back towards the inn after a hard day of going through several books in the library and finding ways to get some money, both being on the verge of becoming broke and having already gone to the Spirit Temple in this city to get their monthly spirit gold coins.
Feng Qin was especially nervous at the time since he wanted to keep a low profile, he didn't want anyone else to see his spirit ring unless it was necessary, but thankfully the staff didn't ask for him to show his spirit ring unless he advances to Spirit Grandmaster.
"Found anything?" Feng Qin asked, turning towards his friend.
After many days being together, the two had grown closer than before, with both telling the other's past and family, excluding certain secrets, it was to the point that Feng Qin had almost forgotten that they still had a master-slave relationship.
Long Yuyin shook her head, her head dripping, "Still nothing. Honestly, I think we've already read all the books related to spirit master's spirits in this city, I don't ever think we'll find out about my tail situation."
"You want to give up?" Feng Qin asked, surprised at the resignation in Long Yuyin's voice.
"No, I don't want to give up," Long Yuyin said resolutely, her eyes aflame with determination. "But we've exhausted all our resources here. Maybe we should move on to the next city and see if they have any useful information."
Feng Qin nodded in agreement, "Okay, we'll leave tomorrow morning and head towards the next city then."

Feng Qin nodded, reading the descriptions of the poster, "Yes, it is a competition for young Spirit Masters of under 20 years of age to showcase their skills and potential. The winners can earn a lot of rewards and even have the chance to enter the main competition where they can gain even greater prizes."
His eyes went wide as plates as he read more of the details of the competition,

The three winners of the preliminary competition in this city are as follows: 3rd place, 1,000 spirit gold coins and a Instant Spirit Pill; 2nd place: 2,500 spirit gold coins, two Instant Spirit Pills and is granted the title of Baron; and lastly, 1st Place: 5,000 spirit gold coins, a Dragon Breaking Pill, and seeded spot in the main tournament set at the capital city of the Star Luo Empire!"
