Chapter 1: 9/11: We remember

BOOM! the ground shook as though there was an earthquake and glass teardrops fell from the broken twins. People ran around like headless chickens, screaming, clutching and begging that it was all a dream. Have you ever had a dream that was as though you worst nightmares become reality and when you wake up everything was back to normal. Well this isn't one of those dreams. There was global panic after the metallic bird hit it's prey in a fiery flame that signified the end of the twins, the towers which once stood tall fell because two planes full of innocence that hit the sides of the towers. Fingers are pointed, innocents were blamed and governments pushes the blame onto the idea of terrorists behind this devastating assault which threatened national security. But that wasn't the end to the catastrophic event as more birds fell from the sky, flightless into historically important and very old buildings that were on their last legs. Millions scared because of this nationwide act of terror that proved that the president was unfit to rule and inspire peace, they all asked for another fit to deal with the panic created by the pile of bodies created by the falling twins. Many people stopped to ask what would happen to their bodies and how the government their deaths to their families, they found out that everyone would be given a proper burial and the new president gave a speech which rallied everyone's spirits after the traumatic event. So every year from then onwards on the date 9/11 occurred everyone would remember the planes that took down the towers and the deaths that caused an early shift of presidential power. The end.
