Chapter 15: Rock Lizards Part One
"Yuki, it's over there!" Michi yelled out. Yuki came flying out of a patch of tall grass, leaped into the air, and yelled out: "Ground Slam!"
*Boom!*
Grass, dirt, and rock, flew in all directions upon impact. The poor horned rabbit that was smashed in the process was in the center of the crater formed from the attack still partially alive and twitching. Yuki did not attack again with her hammer but used her knife instead, finishing it off.
*Ding!*

"That should be good, it is starting to get dark." Yuki said after she leveled up. Yuki wiped the sweat from her brow as she looked up at the sky. The sun was about to go down and the purple hue in the sky combined with floating islands off in the distance made everything seem magical. A gentle breeze swept through causing the grass and flowers to dance about. If it were not for the fact that Yuki went through so much, she would think she was actually on another world.
"Mmm… Yuki, I'm hungry." Michi complained as she held her stomach. Yuki let out a laugh and grabbed Michi's hand and walked back towards their stone house. Once they entered the house they stripped their sweaty clothes off and put them in the washbasin to soak overnight. Yuki cooked up a meal for the two of them and felt more alive after eating.
"Bath time with Yuki!" Michi suddenly yelled after she finished eating her food.
"Okay hold on let me get it ready." Yuki had long been done, but Michi ate much more than her so she had talked with Michi while she ate. After the bath was full, Yuki got in, and Michi jumped right into her lap facing Yuki and dived right into her neck. It seemed that Michi was going to make a ritual of the two sucking on each other's neck in the bath.
Yuki let her do as she pleased as she closed her eyes and leaned her head back. She kept telling herself not to get addicted this time but in the end, she left Michi with enough hickies that her entire neck was now a different shade of color. After their bath, drying off, and combing each other's hair, Yuki and Michi went to sleep snuggling up next to each other just like the night before. And once again Yuki slept the entire night through, thanks to Michi being at her side.
It was the morning of the next day after both girls were dressed that Yuki was looking at her inventory. Michi had already headed out to get more fish since she refused to eat the horned rabbit meat. Yuki did cook some up but Michi was right, it really was not the best thing in the world. Yuki did not toss it away but instead stored it for emergency rations.
But this was not the reason why Yuki was staring at her inventory. Something popped in her mind when she realized she had forgotten to check for a very important function of the game system. A crafting window!
Yuki focused her mind and just as she had figured and it was something she really wanted to slam her head off a wall for not checking right away, she had a crafting system. It never dawned on her when she was building the doors and windows of her stone house or when Michi was painstakingly weaving baskets of all kinds. She never really noticed the note that read: [A material used in crafting...] at the bottom of certain items.
But to Yuki's surprise, this crafting system was not embedded in her vision but projected out in front of her. "Hmmm? So there is a list of recipes on the left and over here is where you place the materials. And this must be the start button… Let's see here..."
Yuki began scrolling through the list finding them all to be rather low-level items. "Grass skirt, Grass Shirt… What is this? Defense 2? You mean if I had this before I could have been able to make some new clothes out of grass!? Wait…. Why does this look like it only covers your nipples?"
Yuki let out a sigh of relief knowing she did not have to resort to such things. She skimmed through the armor until she finally found what she was looking for. "Rabbit skin armor. Rabbit skin skirt, rabbit skin panties! There we go! Fresh panties!" Yuki yelled out with glee.
Pressing the crafting recipe at lightning speed, Yuki looked at the ingredients needed. "2, rabbit skins and some coarse thread…. Where the hell do I get the coarse thread from? Can I craft that as well?"
Yuki once again began searching through her list until she finally found coarse thread. "20 silk grass." Yuki's eyes lit up when she saw the name because it was the name of the grass that covered this entire meadow! She was even using it to sleep on. She quickly hit the coarse thread button and in the one slot that showed up with the silk grass was already in the slot. In no time at all, she had over three hundred bolts of coarse thread. After which she quickly went to work making panties. She had over one hundred rabbit skins from her power leveling. They were easier to come by than slimes almost with how many were around.
She made two pairs of panties, one for her and one for Michi. She then made a rabbit skin skirt and top for the both of them as well. The rabbit tunic she had was much better in stats but it was a tad loose. But the rabbit skin top was basically a chest wrap so it would work as a bra or a top. And her tunic would fit right over it as well. She tried it all on and was very happy with the outcome. "Not bad, soft on the inside making it very comfortable in the breast and crotch regions. This adds an extra 18 defense as well."

"Why is it the panties again that give more defense than everything else!?" Yuki let out a long sigh and could only guess that the unspoken rule was indeed true. The less it covers, the more defense it gives.
With everything made, Yuki left the house and headed to the pond where Michi was. She had made it right as Michi was walking out of the water with a fish in her hand. "Michi!"
"Yuki! Michi just finished fishing. Why are you here… your clothes! Yuki looks pretty!" Michi began walking around Yuki checking out her new clothes even going as far as to lift her skirt.
"Thanks! I just found out I could craft items with ease so I made a set for you and me. I will make some extra as well, so we will not need to keep wearing the same clothes day in and day out. Dry off and try this on." Yuki said, passing Michi a set of clothes.
Michi took them and put on the top and the skirt but when it came to the panties she could not make heads or tails of them but an idea popped in her mind as she put them on her head. Funny enough they did actually seem like they fit well on Michi's head since the holes for the legs allowed her ears to pop through. Yuki laughed and lifted her skirt showing Michi her panties. "You wear them like this."
Michi tilted her head to the side before pulling the panties off her head and wearing them properly. She jumped around a bit to test the new clothes out and said: "Mmm, soft. So these are what Yuki calls panties. No more draft!"
"Yep, it will also keep people from seeing your private areas. Do you like them?" Yuki asked.
"Mmm! Thank you, Yuki!" Michi tackled Yuki and licked her lips over and over.
After Michi calmed down the two girls headed back to the house. Yuki crafted a few more sets of clothes making five sets for each of them in all. Luckily she had enough rabbit skin. With the rabbit skins leftover, she made a few more pairs of panties as well. After dinner and a bath, the two girls went to bed as normal. "Michi, let's head to the forest tomorr… Wait what is that?"
Yuki could feel the whole Stone house beginning to shake. Michi quickly jumped up from the bed and sniffed the air. "Yuki! Get dressed and grab everything, we need to leave now!"
"Huh why!?" Yuki asked confused but when she saw Michi's serious expression she got up and quickly equipped her armor
"Rock Lizards! They migrate in packs of hundreds and they will consume all rocks along the way, even if something is inside of it. Meaning they will eat us!" Michi explained as she was helping Yuki gather their stuff. Yuki put all the items into her inventory and the both of them stumbled out of the house as the ground shook more and more.
Yuki tried to stuff the house in her inventory but realized she had to put it in herself. So without being able to actually pick it up there was no way for her to save her new home. "What should we do!?" Yuki asked while panicking. She had just settled into a new home and now it was going to be destroyed just like that!? "Can we protect the house at least?"
"Yuki, We have to run. Rock Lizards are vicious and will attack you with earth magic. They are also very high level, higher than Michi!" Michi pleaded as she grabbed Yuki's hand and tugged on it.
Yuki had tears in her eyes as she was pulled away by Michi. She was losing her home once again and there was nothing she could do about it. She wondered why things like this kept happening. Why was it that things that she treasured were always taken from her? Yuki suddenly stopped and pulled her hand out of Michi's grasp and turned to run back to the house. She did not want to lose her home once again! That was the house she built on her own. The house she met Michi in. It was her home! She was sick of this.
"Yuki what are doing!" Michi reached out and hugged Yuki from behind. Stopping her from going anywhere.
"Michi, Let go of me! I need to protect it! I do not want to lose anything else!"
