Chapter 1: Prologue
A woman with a beautiful silver hair was running frantically in the forest.
If not for her head bleeding heavily and her body was filled with bloody wounds and torn clothes, she would have been considered as a beauty with an elegant demeanor that was never before seen in Earth with her beautiful silver hair and mesmerizing silver colored eyes.
Her face was filled with mixture of anger, sadness and fright. She was passing through the forest with the speed of light trying her best to reach the the distant mountain which shaped like a dragon horn covered in ice to inform the Lord of her clan about the death of their Young master.
A red streak came from her side and hit her.
Even though a faint blue colored barrier formed around her and protected her from the attack, the impact caused her to spew blood from her mouth unable to handle the power behind that attack and she broke few trees on the forest for few hundred meters before falling down on the ground.
She struggled to stand up while breathing heavily when she was surrounded by five people covered in imposing armors filled with evil aura around them. One can only see their eyes and mouth behind their mask, and every other part of their body were completely covered by their armor.
The silver haired girl didn't care about the other four and only looked at the person who was covered with the red blood colored armor with an uncontrollable anger while clenching her fists tightly and asked in a trembling voice "Why did you do this to young master, Hua Li Rong?"
The red armored person, who was obviously a woman by looking at her eyes and her curved body armor that exuded feminine charm and devilishness, just looked at the silver haired girl like she was looking at an idiot.
Before the red armored woman could open her mouth, the man who looked like a big bear wearing an armor opened his mouth and spoke in a rough voice "A mere Saint Treant dare question our Immortal Saintess? You are not qualified to know the work of us half immortals. Be on your way and join that idiot young master of yours in the netherworld."
A black fist sized power emanated from his hand facing the silver haired girl and flew towards her with an amazing speed to deliver the killing blow.
The silver haired girl was too shocked to care about the killing blow coming towards her. She didn't expect the woman who has been spending her life for many decades with their clan and earned their love and trust, and acted like a kind person along with them would be a Saintess of these people, who was considered in a very high position in the realm.
When the black fist was almost near the silver haired girl to take her life, it dissipated like it never existed before, and a space crack formed right behind the girl and she disappeared inside the crack before anyone could react.
Everyone was shocked by the sudden change when a voice filled with fury came from inside the space crack "Don't think I don't know who you are just because you hid yourself with the armor and barrier to hide your identity. Your evil domain will regret what you have done today and will pay the price beyond your imagination."
The face of the five changed completely after hearing the voice from the crack when they realized that it was the voice of Long Qingquan, Lord of the Drogon clan and the leader of the Beast domain.
They were scared out of their minds and their face turned ugly because Long Qingquan was one of the powerful entities in the realm and since he appeared in front of them, it means it is time for their death.
But to the shock of the five, the space crack started repairing itself slowly which means he is not intending to attack them anymore which relieved them, and at the same time confused them considering the fact that that man was a complete madman among all the powerhouses in the realm.
And now they killed his only son and he is just going to let them go with just a warning? is what all the five were thinking.
When they were letting out a sigh of relief seeing the space crack about to disappear, a point attack like a laser beam with white light came out of the crack and attacked the red armored woman, Hua Li Rong.
Her armor shattered and the attack pierced her body and destroyed her spiritual space. She flew few kilometers before the other four could even take their eyes of the closing space crack and disappeared from their sight. They were horrified and turned towards the direction Hua Li Rong flew away when a faint voice was heard behind them "A small interest."
The four in the armor was covered in cold sweat and didn't dare to say anything when the space crack completely disappeared, and they immediately flew towards the direction their Saintess disappeared from the attack with worry filled eyes not knowing whether she is alive or dead.
At the same time, inside an ice palace, a man with majestic aura exuding from his body as cold as an icy mountain is sitting on a throne, while the silver haired girl who disappeared through the space crack was kneeling in front of him with tear filled eyes.
The man looked at the kneeling girl and understood how she was feeling and said slowly "It's not your mistake Ying'er. None of us saw through her this entire time so don't blame yourself."
Long Yue Ying, the silver haired girl, looked up at the man sitting in the throne with sadness and confusion. She didn't understand why her Lord didn't kill them when they killed his own son, and couldn't help but feel anger rise in her towards him, but she didn't say anything and kept everything inside and just nodded towards him with tear filled eyes.
Long Qingquan waved his hand asked for her to leave. When he looked at her leaving without any word, he could understand her sadness, anger and disappointment in him, and that she was angry towards him for not doing anything for his son's death.
When she left the throne room and the door closed, he let out a sigh and muttered "Maybe I'm wrong to have listened to that man and let this happen to my son. I hope we are not wrong."
