Chapter 103: Green Household
Noctis on the other side, saw the rows of stores lined up in front he chuckled a little bit after seeing that.
"Seriously? Money making, right off the bat?" Noctis said.
"The difficulty of getting a spot in the front is really difficult. Those that owned the front are either big named or someone has backing them up. Also you would have to renew your license to own the spot every year so there's a massive competition fighting for those spots." Andrew said to Noctis.
"Do we find, Irene and your kids first...? or should we wait for them at the house?" Andrew asked.
"I think they should be fine on their own. Let them explore around a little more. We have lots of time to roam around later." Noctis said.
"Then let's go to our house first." Andrew said and lead the way.
They kept on walking while Noctis would stare for a moment at every stall they passed by, who knows, maybe he would be lucky.
After 30 minutes of walking, they arrived at a huge mansion, Andrew and Kian removed their cloaks and were recognized by the gate guards.
"Welcome back, Master Andrew, Young Master Kian" They greeted him respectfully and opened the gate. Andrew nodded his head and spoke.
"Remember this man, he is a special guest of the Green family." Andrew said and the guards nodded their heads and burned Noctis' face in their head.
Noctis felt awkward as the guards stared at him for a long time.
Andrew then walked inside and they followed him. When they got past the gate, what blasted in their face is the lovely aroma of flowers. They saw an old woman tending the garden and a beautiful pink haired lady helping her out.
The old woman's face had full of wrinkles and she's wearing a hat to protect herself from the sunlight. The woman on the other hand looked like she's an asian with a lighter brown complexion, her body is slim and the outline of her muscles could be seen, her eyes which had green pupils shone while she's looking at the flowery plant in front of them.
"Mother, I told you that you should rest more." Andrew rushed and kneeled in front of her mother.
Andrew's mother turned around and hit him in the head.
"I'm still strong, you're the only one who said that I should keep resting. Also, after your meeting, you said you would help me out the next day with tending the garden, but you just ran away with my grandson and great-granddaughter in tow!" The old woman lashed out to him making the beautiful pink haired lady giggle. Seeing Andrew, she is sure that her husband has come home and turned around and was about to greet him when she froze after seeing Noctis.
"You...!" She is surprised after seeing the person who once crushed her pride as a master swordsman. The reason why she quit her position in the kingdom she served and pursued the way of the sword by travelling only to fall in a relationship with Kian.
Noctis seeing her was surprised as well. She remembered the lady who he once challenged in polishing his sword skills. He managed to defeat her after being enlightened to the way of the sword.
"Kiara...? what's the matter?" Kian sensed the hostile tension within her wife but Noctis isn't reacting at all.
Kiara calmed down and greeted her husband first.
"Apologies. Welcome home, dear." She gave Kian a soft kiss before separating.
"Kiara, what's the matter? Is something wrong?" Kian asked.
"That man once defeated me in a battle of swordsmanship. The first defeat in my whole career is from that man." Kian nodded his head after hearing why she is hostile to Noctis.
"I see. Mr. Noctis is the man who defeated you, huh." Kian said which made Kiara curious and confused as to why Noctis is with them.
"You're not surprised? You're not going to take revenge for your wife you know, like beat him in a duel?" Kiara asked in a joking manner.
"Well, we did fight earlier and I was stomped. I couldn't even budge him from his place." Kian said to Kiara who is also surprised as she knows how strong Kian is. He could jump first in the battlefield and still have a high chance of surviving. Now she hears that someone managed to beat Kian in a contest of strength without moving from his place, it just shows just how crazily strong Noctis is.
"Looks like you've improved a lot after not being in the scene for so long, huh." Kiara said to Noctis in contempt. Her petty argument made Noctis laugh his *ss off.
"Come on. Its all in the past. In the past, I managed to beat you maybe in a small margin but now? Even if there's hundreds of you coming at me? You won't be able to defeat me." Noctis said as his body emitted a alight pressure and the arrogance of a Hanma is coming along with it.
"My, to think we have such a strong guest. Its an honor to the Green family." Andrew's mother said to Noctis and the pressure he is emitting slightly loosened.
"Thank you for the compliment, Madame." Noctis said with a smile.
"Oh, just call me Aunty Ophelia." Ophelia said while she chuckled.
"Now then, why don't you show them around, Kian. ANDREW, DON'T EVEN TRY ESCAPING. YOU STAY HERE AND HELP ME." Ophelia said as her fist chucked Andrew's midsection causing him to keel over.
Kian immediately led the two while Kiara stayed to help her mother-in-law.
When they got away, Noctis said to Kian.
"What a scary grandma. I can sense the punch he gave to your father is the real deal. Is she the reincarnation of Tsunade? Or maybe she is indeed Tsunade." Noctis said while chuckling.
Kian and Dimaria had a wry smile on their face. Although they don't know who Tsunade is, they know that Noctis based it off of Ophelia who's punch probably broke one of Andrew's ribs. Kian then led them around the house, showing the places and rooms. There's even a lake at the back of their mansion which is man-made and there are lots of fishes as well.
"Mr. Noctis, why don't you guys stay with us through your stay here in Sevens. I'm pretty sure going back to your home whenever you want to go back must be too tiring?" Kian said to Noctis.
Although Noctis can just teleport back to their house in the woods easily, he still gave some thought about it. He will have to ask his wife about it.
"I'll think about your offer." Noctis said and Kian respected his decision.
"Now then, Dimaria, follow me to their training area, you are going to be training." Noctis said and Dimaria nodded her head. As much as she wants to go on a tour as well, getting stronger is her top priority.
"Mr. Noctis, can I watch... your training?" Kian asked nervously.
"Why? You won't learn anything from a beginner's training." Noctis said to Kian.
"I-its fine, I just want to see her train... that's all." Kian said.
"Then lead the way." Noctis said nonchalantly. Him being watched while training Dimaria is not a problem to him, he won't teach any technique to Dimaria in public after all.
Kian then lead the way to the training area.
