Chapter 3: The Start 2
(Julius POV)
The war with the spade kingdom has been going on for 10 years now ,there have been cease fire in between but they didn't last very long, many life has been lost because of this war and since I was selected to carry the title of the wizard king the last year it is my responsibilities to end this war once and for all.
Though I have come to hear some interesting story about a certain man or a child from what I have been hearing. A child of just 10 years who have been roaming in the warzone for atleast 5 years going around killing the soldiers and mages of spade kingdom.
When I heard this I was saddened by it, to think a child of just 10 years of which 5 years he has spend on a warzone, he has literally spend half of his life on the warzone and that is a very depressing thought.
No child should have his childhood be spend on the battlefield , he should be with his parents and enjoying his life but unfortunately he is facing life and death battles when he should be playing games with kids of his age.
But my other feelings on this matter was that the child must be amazing.A child of 10 surviving on the battlefield for 5 straight years,that to alone requires some major skills.He even gained a nickname in the battlefield called 'mage slayer' which is really amazing. I have heard of many people in my army talking about him,he mostly uses a sword to slay his enemy and he knows no spell.
From what I can tell of his skills from the rumors,his skill in swor must be just below Yami and that though alone is scary not because of his skill but because of his age.Yami would really like to have a spare with this kid.
I really wanna meet this kid, so that's why I came to the front lines today where his sighting gave been recorded and would you look at my luck,I just found him.
Upon seeing me his first reaction was fleeing and boy-o-boy was he fast but compared to me he was still slow, so I quickly intercepted his path cutting his escape route and now I can finally get a good look at the kid.
The kid has pale white skin,his hair is of two color which is silver and blonde a rather interesting combination and he has amethyst color eye. One look and you could tell that he is going to be a lady-killer.
The kid upon seeing me first began observing me and from his expression he knows that he cannot defeat me , so he took a cautious stance and put his hand on the scabbard of his sword and began raisin his magic energy, Which really surprised me cause the magic energy flowing from this boy was a monstrous amount, the fact that he dosen't have a grimoire is even more mind boggling he then asked me my name and what I am doing here but that's where something weird happened.
My grimoire began to act weirdly when he released his magic, it was like it was resonating with the magic that the boy was giving off.I found it very confusing at first but then I could only think of one reason why it was doing so,the boy has an affinity with time magic and that to a monstrous affinity.
This shouldn't be possible has he has not got a grimoire yet but this is the only explanation.I am the only person in this entire world that has an affinity with time magic and my grimoire is also an unclassified grimoire but looks like the kid standing in front of me also has an affinity to time magic which is better than even mine.
So not only mana surrounds him like he is there child but he also have an affinity to time magic.This kid is a monster among monsters,but the look in his eyes it's like he dosen't even care for anything in this world not even his own life ,it really makes me sad so I made a decision on the spot with raising my arms to show my non hostility I gave him a smile and answered his questions
"My name is Julius and for the reason I am here" I gave him the best smile that I can "I came here to adopt you"
I could see the surprise on his face but soon the surprise turned into suspicion and then in a calm tone he asked me
"why would you adopt me ,you don't even know my name and why would you think I would except it from a stranger who I know nothing about" I simply replied
"I can see it in your eyes that you don't have the will to live anymore , so instead of raising your sword just for the reason of killing the enemy would it not be better if you have an actual reason for doing so" He raised an eyebrow and said
"Are you telling me that you can give me a reason to kill them" I just smiled putting my hand in front of him and said
"No I am just giving you a home to protect and people to live and live for"
After hearing my answer his eyes widen in surprise and he though for a few minute of what i just said to him , after the passage of few minute he asked me
"Can you promise me" I again put my hand in front of him and smiled and said
"I can promise you that, my son" and then he took my hold of my hand and that's how I gained a son who even I didn't knew how important he was going to be for me.

leo26 Sorry the chapters quite short, I was thinking of making this a cross over between fairy tail and black clover cause I think that both of the worlds would work really well together.What fo you guys think?
