Chapter 3: The fiancee

I wake up to a my mother moving me, telling me to get up from my sleep"er sorry mother it appears I must've slepted in.." I say waking up fully. My mom smiles while walking towards my mirror" He is coming at 7." I lay back down calmly as she continues"it's 6:34 dear." I get up and take my pajamas off running towards my wardrobe then grabbing a tank top with my loose bear sweater and cute bear curduroy pants which I got from a cute kawaii store. Then running towards my mirror quickly putting my hair in a messy bun " Hana you still have time it's barely 6:35 now" my mother continues walking towards me with a curling iron " You really are fast when it comes to this." my mother says chuckling leaving me a bit embarrassed " Impressions are very important mother , Impressions let the other person know what you are like depending on how you act when you first meet.." I smile at my mother letting her know where I'm getting at which she right away understands. I start to dose off a little until my mother touches my shoulder "Half up hairstyle just like when you were little." she says separating each piece of my hair while I watch her enjoy it "OMI THEY ARE RIGHT OUTSIDE!" My father says barging in my room "Well we are just about done dear how about you go get the door for them" my mother says walking towards my father pushing him out of the room then shutting the door getting back to putting my hair up nicely. As she put the finishied pieces together I watched the leaves fall from my outside window "All done Hana." my mother says taking a step back with a big smile "Thank you mother it looks beautiful I guess I should head downstairs then." I say walking towards my door to go downstairs while hearing the men reuniting. "ah there she is keigo you've met Hana when she was a Infant!" my father says loud and proud walking towards me as he continues on"This is keigo, the woman next to him is his wife Marie,the little girl is yuika, and lastly you have that man sitting next to the window looking outside.. chikashi." I smile at each one of them and excuse myself to go speak with my fiancee "Nice view?" I say standing next to him looking out the window as well "eh you got a okay view for a poor family."he says making my eyebrows furrow and my smile frown " they made a deal no need to be a butt" chikashi looks at me up and down and continues on with his mean comments "sheesh you even look poor" I get up and slap him "I despise you how can you say that stuff while smiling!? My family is in big trouble if they don't get their financial straight! They can't even adopt a child with their financial status and your laughing!? shame on you!" I say walking past everyone and quickly grab my phone "pick up,pick up.." I say nervously "hellllllo?" Gen says over the phone making me crack a smile"hey Gen can you meet me at Maruyama park if you aren't busy.." "sure! I'll be there in a minute." And with that our chat ended and I was walking. And walking more "it's late I should've just told him to meet me at a cafe near me.." I say sighing "it's almost night and I've been Walking and walking losing my breath every step I take I'll call him and apologize for having him wait." As I pull my phone out and try to turn it on I realize that it is dead "aw snap now I don't have a phone,or bike!" I say turning around to head back home. Half way home I see a men in the alley way mugging this young lady which looked terrifying and it got even worse when I saw him running to me" you!" the man said in a deep voice almost like I've heard that voice before, the man grabs my arm and pulls me in the back of an apartment complex" what do you want, my phone is dead, I don't have a bike,nor do I have a car, I live with my parents for the time being who are having financial problems so why involve me in your mugging." I said looking him dead in the eye pissed " the man laughs and continues"do you know who I am?"me being clueless I nod no and push him out of my way"listen I've got to head home and honestly I don't care who you are" I walk away without looking back until I got home. " Hana are you okay!?" my mother says when I get to my parents home"I'm fine mom I just needed to go for a walk.." when I reach my mother she hugs me tightly "Well I have no idea what had happened between you and chikashi but his father had a conversation together and chikashi said he'll try make peace with you." I back away from my mothers embrace and smile at her letting her know I'm fine now. I walk through the door and see chikashi on his knee looking irritated and displeased on what he was doing" h-hana k-k-kiyabu will you m-m-marry me?" I notice how angry he is "Chikashi look at her when you propose!" chikashi's father says with a frown "Hana?" my father says sternly which makes me feel pressured " I accept your proposal." chikashi gets off the floor and puts the ring on my finger " how about a kiss!" chikashi's father says with a big smile "I agree you two should kiss!" my father says agreeing with him" now, now, you two don't you think they should have some time to get to know each other?" chikashi's mother Marie steps in noticing how uncomfortable me and chikashi looks "I suppose your right you two need to go on a date tomorrow!" Chikashi's father says looking proud."mother,father can we please leave now I have a test to study at my highschool tomorrow." chikashi's sister yuika speaks for the first time "of course dear, well it has been a pleasure to be here today chikashi will see you tomorrow Hana!" I force a smile "I'll look forward to it." I say looking at chikashi then heading upstairs to get in my lingerie kimono,letting my hair down then to bed I go. "Hana.." I hear my father say as he knocks on the door "yes father?" I say waiting for a response "Thank you." I squeeze my fists "it's not necessary for you to thank me it needed to be done." I hear my father's sigh on the other side of my door " But it wouldn't have if you didn't accept his proposal...you did have a choice..it's just me and your mother would be on the streets..." I feel my eyes fill up with tears as I quickly rub them " Dad it's been a awefully complicated day.." I say laying down " of course Hana get some rest.. I just want you to know.. I-if you ever change your mind about the marriage please let me know before calling it off..even though it will effect me and your mother....." I feel my father's pain I run to my door to open it and give my father a big hug "father it's fine.." I say wipeing my father's tears " Get some rest father." he nods and walks back to his room leaving me to head to sleep myself.
