Chapter 107: The bidding for the mysterious card
The tense atmosphere in the auction hall right now was pressuring, especially to those on the ground floor which felt helpless right now.
They were surrounded by the affluent and strong, the exit path locked until the auction is over. All they could do was hold their breaths and prepare for the upcoming war which was going to break out.
The elemental families, Ace who was on the third floor and a few old fogeys who have been waiting until now. Besides them, there were also a few roaming cultivators not affiliated to any backgrounds, but with wealth to bid for the roulette item and strength to leave safely.
This was also the reason why being rich doesn't mean having everything in the auction session to oneself, if one doesn't possess the strength to leave the auction hall safely, then bidding for more than they could swallow was a suicidal action.

"This card is from the deepest part of the ruins of despair which was discovered one hundred and forty seven years ago, only discovered by someone who auctioned it at our auction hall months ago, specifying for it to be auctioned today."
Today? Why this day out of so many days in a month when the cultivation forces tournament is being held? That was the question everyone had in mind, but compared to the auction which was going on, this question was tossed off their mind almost immediately.

"You should know that I came here for that reason." Rain chuckled as he took a seat besides Ace, his leg crossed and rested on the other, his arms rested on the side of the sofa as Ace shifted slightly to the left.
"Come on, you don't have to be so afraid of me. Anyways, my father wanted to ask if you have any other elixir formulas that can contend against what others have to offer."
The moment Ace heard this, he understood that there was only one elixir formula he could offer. The only sixth grade elixir formula he knew of which effects defies all grade six elixirs and grade seven elixirs.
True Essence Elixir: Able to increase the cultivation speed of a cultivator by ten percent throughout their entire cultivation journey until one steps into the Martial Saint realm. Able to increase a cultivator's wisdom used to cultivate martial skills and even assist them in making future breakthroughs.
It was an elixir which possessed a similar effect to the Nascent Orb, but there was a major difference which separated the two with a clear disparity between them.
The Nascent Orb was rare and could barely be found, but the True Essence Elixir can be produced in batch amounts, the materials were uncommon, but with just some effort, all that was required is an alchemist that could concoct and refine it.
"Ace, it seems that you're determined to get this card."
"Of course, it means much more to me compared to the others."
Ace was doing this for a certain reason, time capsule of one year in the span of one month.
With this time capsule which he'll receive by getting the card, he can use it to stabilize his mind and cultivation base before making a final breakthrough to the Martial Lord realm with a perfect cultivation base without any flaws.
Ace was determined to rise to the top, attaining a perfect cultivation base and ensuring that all aspects of his cultivation journey is flawless is the least he had to do in order to achieve his goal.

When everyone heard this, everyone knew that Gale was determined to obtain the mysterious card.

The moment everyone heard what Chris had to offer, they knew that the other elemental families have already lost out compared to the Crimson family.

They were sure that Roy could see and hear everything right now, which was why they were awaiting his final decision."
"This is the elixir formula that I'm offering,." Ace was being confident, but when everyone read the effects of the elixir, they understood the reason for Ace's confidence.
He was offering the Peacock Auction Hall a chance to groom countless Martial Emperors while giving those with higher innate talent a chance to step into the Martial Saint realm.
The winner was obvious. But was the silence now the calm before the storm?
