Chapter 1: Camilla's Life
Camilla walked into their apartment and found her aunt sprawled on the floor, a bottle of alcohol in her hand and a few empty bottles laid carelessly littering the floor.
"Auntie I can't believe you're drunk again, I work my ass off day and night just to provide for us and you waste it all on alcohol." Camilla berated.
Auntie Cherry got up and gave her a tight slap,it almost sent Camilla to the floor. She held her cheek and starred at her aunt in pain,tears dripping down her pretty face.
"Enough of your nonsense you foolish girl, you're such an ungrateful bastard. You're nothing but a burden to me,just because you bring in a little money into this house don't go thinking high of yourself. You're nothing, you're just an unwanted bastard. Your mother abandoned you and I've been the one taking care of you. You were conceived in sin and you worth nothing, you hear me!" Auntie Cherry yelled. This was not the first time she was abusing Camilla. For auntie Cherry, abusing the girl who brought home money and provided for them had become a daily routine.
"You're no better!" Camilla yelled back. "You're a flirt and a drunk and if not for me, you would have starved to death." Camilla added, she was tired of being mistreated.
Auntie Cherry turned around swiftly ready to beat the living day lights out of Camilla but Camilla acted swifter. She ran out of the house. "Come back here, I'm not done with you!" Auntie Cherry yelled but Camilla didn't even look back.
Auntie Cherry's words kept ringing in her head and she couldn't help it as tears kept pouring down in torrents down her face but just then, a car stopped by her.
