Chapter 983: Grandparents
"... So they are the one who are targeting my Guild."
All of them suddenly became tense, they did not know how and when this boy suddenly appeared inside of the room, they did not even feel his presence when he arrived.
"Who are you!"
Xin looked at them and stopped at Sengoku, Garp, and Vice-Admiral Tsuru, he politely bowed to them and said.
"Grandma, Grandpa, I'm back."
"You are?" The two old men are clueless about the true identity of this man while Tsuru is surprised to see him.
She doesn't need to ask the name of the Youngman because she clearly knows who he is. He slowly stands up and walks beside him.
"So your final back, where have you been?"
"I just come out from a long training of mine,"
"That's good~ that's good."
"Tsuru-chan, who is this man?" Sengoku asked.
"I feel i seen this young man somewhere, but i don't remember where"
"Two idiot Oldman, you don't even figure out who is the youngest Marine officer that can perform different movement techniques without effort."
"It seems that getting beaten by this kid in the past is still not enough for him to be remembered by you two."
Garp and Sengoku look at each other with an unbelievable look on their face, of course, they both know who he is but the problem is, they can now feel anything from him not like the last time they saw him five years ago.
"You're finally willing to go back Kid, I thought you got eaten by Sea King somewhere and left as poop." Garp teasingly said.
"Hey kid, are you finally willing to go home after five years?"
All of the Marine officers look at them and look at the boy, some of them realize who he is but some look confused.
"So he's back, I can finally get my pudding again."
"Hey~ can i get a demotion, let this kid take over my position."
"If this kid is here, is that mean those little mischievous kids and that stupid bird is also here?"
"Shut up, Aokiji, if you want demotion that's impossible, and you Kizaru don't lay hand on my Grand Daughter else I will fight you," Sengoku said.
Some officers start whispering to each other asking for the information of the unknown youngster.
"You don't know him? Are you new here?"
"Yes, I come from another branch."
"So that's why, then let me tell you that Youngman is strong, not strong as the current Admiral but strong enough to beat almost every Vice-Admiral."
"The youngest Marine officer in history, using only his body he beat all his enemy with two first."
"He is also a Haki expert, he trains with Vice-Admiral Zephyr, one of the successor of the current Head Teacher of the academy."
"I also heard that he is the one who can bleed Vice-Admiral Garp and almost destroy half of the Marineford."
"Not only that, if I'm not wrong, he alone comes to Big Mom's Tea Party and wreaks havoc there beating Ktakuri and Big Mom itself."
"I also heard that, but I did not expect to see the man in the legend itself."
"He is also the current Guild Leader of the Guild, a small branch of Marine 5 years ago until it became a huge organization that everyone knows."
"So he is the Guild Leader, I didn't expect him to be young."
"Well, he was small when he first founded the guild so he is young until now."
"You mean he is the Leader of that infamous guild, a home of hidden monsters that can easily rival Vice-Admirals?"
"That's right."
Hearing the gossip around, Sengoku knows that it's time to end the meeting, so he dismisses all of them leaving some important people of course Xin.
"Why is the World Government targeting us, Grandpa?"
"Haa~ well as you can see, the World Government doing their all to get their hand on your Guild because they don't want another powerful organization to build,"
"They fear that your organization will fight them in the near future so they try to weaken your streaming as much as they can."
"That's right, a powerful organization like your Guild is like a ticking bomb that can endanger the whole system. That's why they are trying to do everything they can to at least minimize the damage that you can do in the future."
"Not only that, because you're giving jobs to everyone, preventing more people from becoming Pirates or becoming criminals, the image of the Guild is higher than the Image of the Marien and World Government."
"And also because your guild is always hitting the World Noble, and having more powerful people in your arsenal makes your group more dangerous."
"I heard they even tried to put a spy inside but it did not pass on Mikako's screening."
"I also heard that too, and that spy seemed beaten by the girls and thrown somewhere."
"This time it seems they know your guild is currently having a problem in funding that's why they came up with that trick."
"Having no money paying for the damage the guild made, the guild's clean reputation will be tarnished for sure, making your organization look bad in the eyes of the public."
"If you want we can use our own savings to solve this problem, I think I saved enough dowry for all my Granddaughter in the past years."
"I have some too, if you want you can have mine."
Looking back at his grandparents, Xin feels lucky he has this kind of people taking good care of them even though they don't have any blood relationship.
