Chapter 4: Probably a Bird
However Leah Oak found that she was reborn to before it all began.Feeling that she could overcome Seraph and all the other people that were better than her, she used the the knowledge of what would happen to her advantage.She quickly built her own business with her memory of every financial success there was and was acclaimed as a genius.
Despite this, she felt it wasn't enough.She still felt inferior to the talented Seraph.So in the dark, she sabotaged every opportunity that Seraph had and instead put herself in the light.She even went as far as to frame Seraph for crimes she didn't do multiple times.
Leah thrived once she was reborn.She became someone everyone looked up to.
Apparently the world was destroyed because of all accumulated hatred that was produced from the multitudes of people that Leah stepped on in order for happy her ending to become true.And having someone reborn went against this worlds rules as there is no such thing as magic here.
The world wasn't able to fix the damages that Leah caused, so it self destructed.
As for Seraph's mission, she's not able to stop Leah from being reborn, as that's out of her power.So her goals are to minimize the impact that Leah's rebirth has on this world.
Seraph lay there for a minute, trying to get her head around everything that she has to do.
However her thoughts were interrupted by the loud bang that reverberated from the door once it opened.A woman in 50's walked through the door and man around the same age.Both of whom didn't show very obvious signs of aging, apart from wrinkles here and there.
"How are you feeling?"Asked the woman as she came up to Seraph with worry on her face.
From the memories in her mind, these seem to be this world Seraph's parents, Olivia and Scott.Although both of them have never known a moment without money, and were very powerful people in the business world, they were still very kind to their children.
"I'm fine.What happened?"questioned Seraph.
"Nothing, we were just worried.When we came in your room we found you fainted on the floor.And the doctors said that you seem to have experienced a great shock.What happened?"
Seraph, knowing she could not explain her predicament, could only say,"I...I don't remember."She said slowly, trying to come up with something that's not overly ridiculous.
"It was...It was probably a bird."She said while repeatedly nodding.
Both of them looked at her doubtfully, but seeing as she wasn't going to say anything else they could only give up.
Olivia looked at her daughter for a moment before walking up to her and taking her hands.Seraph, not used to physical contact, was surprised for a second before recovering her usual expression.
"Well, remember be careful in the future, we wouldn't want you to get sick.The doctors say that you can leave the hospital whenever your ready, so in just a momen-"Before Olivia could finish, loud knocking resounding through the room and the door opened to reveal cute woman wearing a delicate white dress.She wasn't overly beautiful but had pretty amber eyes and brown hair.
"Sister?"Leah asked in a small voice.
