Stellar Academy prohibits the presence of attendants and maids to establish a fair learning environment. Nobility is not enjoyed inside, only those who excels are in the upper caste.
But still commoners doesn't dare to offend nobles inside, primarily because nobles in the Faron Empire are descendants of elite Knights. Only those who are powerful family could be a noble that stand mightily in the capital. For this reason common born never antagonize nobles because their family life could be jeopardized.
But Miranda Lumber picked on Isabel because everyone knows how Isabel is being treated despite being a royalty. This also gives Miranda a sense of superiority and approval that she's at the top.
Commoners originally has no family name but they could register in the Empire on the expense of huge amount of money or if a royal favor was given. Being from a common born family that's able to climb upwards and gained a family name, Lumber. She takes pride of her father's efforts and despise the golden spoon of noble born.
Especially to Isabel Rigris, a weak, pathetic and incompetent to be higher than her? That's a ridiculous and acceptable thought to Miranda.
"Miranda! How dare you to do this?!"
Alicia Oliver, is one of the people that could be considered a friend to Isabel. They are childhood friends and had very close relationship.
Alicia immediately run to Isabel and push Miranda's hands.
"You! I'm only doing the right thing! Don't meddle with our things."
"Stop once again! This is unbelievable! Do you think the school will keep a blind eye for this?"
"Hmph! Let see if the school will take side to this evil white haired cunt!"
"Miranda don't push your luck too much!"
Oliver Family, one of the strongest family in the Empire. They sit at the top of powers that dominate the continent.
For the past centuries the Empire's Seven Swords, which is the peak strength and pillars of Empire's, the epitome of absolute power, Olivers have always been part of it.
Currently out of seven swords two of them are Oliver, they occupy the second and fourth sword. This is the testament of their power.
Miranda can't just ignore these facts.
"Anyway I'm not doing this anymore, you could lick each other wounds for all you want, dealing with trash is tiresome" Miranda look the two of them with eyes full of hatred, then walk away.
Alicia doesn't even bothered by Miranda's remarks and immediately look to Isabel with trace of sadness as she lean and gently clean her face.
"I'm so sorry I should have come sooner."
"No, I'm happy you're here."
Still... a smile is placed on her beautiful lips like she always does. As if everything happened earlier does not involve her. The smile on Isabel's face is like an eternal flame that always illuminate other people.
But this made Alicia's worry to be deepened more.
Emptiness...
She feels nothing behind that smile.
She can't identify this lady who she cherish as her childhood friend.
