Chapter 3: First Down
"Die." The entity dashed slowly with its meagre agility and aimed the point of its stick towards the neck of Kang Yeochul. With only a mere minutes of life experience and no combats experience, the entity made its only possible move; a simple and flawed stab attack.
CRACK
"The strength of a bull pounded at the entity's left shoulder, shattering its left side and completely decimating the left half of its rib cage. With one swoop, the entity had lost almost half of its upper body and knocked prone. Without a doubt, being born into death would be a perfect way to describe this situation. As the sole skeleton in the entire area, what can it do? All of its brothers and sisters have fought and died, but it remained, broken and battered.
In the face of adversity, one must exhaust all of their options before they can give in. Even in this dire strait, the entity retained a semblance of hope.
"How did I not manage to kill this thing?" Kang Yeochul asked with an expression of disappointment.
"You only swing that mace around a don't even bother to aim for critical points. Of course every once in a while one hit doesn't do the trick." The leader laughed at Kang Yeochul with his palm smacked against his face.
"Just finish it off, we need to move on."
"Fine, just one smack on the head will do."
SHINK
Kang Yeochul, a heavily armoured E-rank tank, stood still. With a faint feeling reminiscent of a bee's sting, he turned his sight to his groin. With a face filled with horror, he found a wooden spike protruding from the front side of his waist. With vast amounts of blood dripping down and a feeling of light-headedness coming into effect, Kang Yeochul fell forward onto his knees.
SHHHIIIEEEK
A lump started to appear from his back, facing the roof of the cave. Unable to pierce through his torso plating, the lump remained there, unable to get through. But with this injury, Kang Yeochul's face turned stiff before becoming as blank as a white canvas.
FLOP

"Brother....I have killed him. What do I do now-"
The entity blew a bright red colour as its body became lighter and a gentle breeze entered it, recovering its shattered pieces and giving the entity a fresh start. Surely, this is a one in a million chance.

The entity rose up, retrieving the mace of Kang Yeochul and sporting a rusted set of chain mail on its body. As it seemed, the entity had received armour for its efforts. But it still needed to take a weapon for itself.
"Kang Yeochul...He's....DEAD!" A support hunter yelled after stuttering in shock and fear. After witnessing the death of one of their more prolific members, to a skeleton, the hunter had nearly dirtied their pants. And dying in such a horrid way, it was simply terrible.
"Humans, why have you entered our tomb?" The entity asked with a cold and abyssal voice.
"It can talk! Could it be...?"
"The skeleton got promoted to boss class! Hurry up and encircle it! Don't let it go after the heal-"
"FOOLISH."
The entity took the opportunity it had be given to dash to the left of the group while they were shocked and planning, using its newly obtained weapon to impact the shocked support hunter's skull.
CRRRAAAAEEIK
The mace crushed the top of the hunter's skull, revealing a disgusting bowl of red and pinkish fluids, which abruptly covered the skeleton's mace.
FLOP
The skeleton removed its mace and face the rest of the hunters. This time, the hunters managed to encircle it, leaving the entity with nowhere to escape.
"DAMMIT! We lost one of our supporters! Kill this thing quickly!" The leader yelled as he casted what seemed to be a fire spell.

"FIREBOLT!" The leader sent a mote of flame towards the encircled skeleton. But the entity was quick and reacted unexpectedly.
"Impact." The entity slammed its mace on the mote and sent it towards another support hunter, burning a hole in their upper chest.
"Mon....st-Er!"
FLOP

With every kill, the entity became stronger. With every hit, it became more accurate. With every strike, it became deadlier.
What did these hunters create? Their demise.
