Chapter 2: THE SPECIAL GIFT FOR YOU

(LAKE doesn't mean lake, it's a place name).
As I woke up i saw my bedshit which was of white colour had changed its colour to complete black. Actually due to having cut on my whole body the blood has spread all over the bedshit . I was completely blanked. Yet however I managed to act cool infront of my family. But I also wanted to question my parents for these all happening with me. Neither I had guts to ask them nor I thought it's high time to do this. So I somehow explained to myself and went for college. Whole way I was thinking about myself that "am I a monster or a devil or may be something". I was in a deep thought that I couldn't get , that my college had arrived untill my driver said to me "your..... college Baba".
I got out of my car went to classroom. I was talking my friends that it was only then Scarlett came to me and said
"...I am sorry for yesterday, I realized that I shouldn't have slapped you. I am literally sorry. You helped me yesterday morning and I slapped you and...."
I put my index finger on her lips and said
"ssshhhh it's not your fault don't say sorry plss, I beg you and I think it's not right time for you to talk to me" by pointing towards her boyfriend Jordan.
She bowed down and step backwards. Our class has been started . After two hours of class we got lunch break. I was eating with my friends then I saw that Jordan and Scarlett were approaching towards us. Scarlett invited me to her birthday party.
She said "as you had helped me I'm just returning the favor to you." Then Jordan said "nothing more, got it....".
I bowed down and smiled.
" I'll be there with my friends " .
I said and went around to the garden with my friends. My friends said
"are you serious, you'll go inspite of knowing everything .We are not sure about Scarlett but it's clear that Jordan is going to insult you anyhow ".
I said "we will see..... ".
After the class ended up one of my friend asked me about the birthday gift . I had no idea about all these. She went to market with me and bought a beautiful gift for her. She gave that gift to me and suggest me to write also something for her . After that she also bought a bouquet on the behalf of all our group friends. She said.....
"I know your feelings for her so first gift is for you to give her and second is from behalf of all our group friends".
We went home. I finished my dinner and went to my room ,studied for few hours. I was just going to sleep then only at that time my younger sister came and said
"Are you dating a girl"???????
"Why.....". I said
"There was a call from your friend . She asked that have you written your feelings for her..... " she said.
"No no it's it's... not like that."
She smiled and bowed down.
"How much money you want"????????
I said gave her one thousand rupees. She took that money and said me to enjoy. I slept . Tomorrow morning I went to college and I was in the middle of the way then only there was a call on my mobile . It was a unknown number. I didn't pick up. Then again there was a call from same number. I picked up this time.
"Hello this is Scarlett here, aà.... am I taking to Abhigyan shashwat".
" So I'm only say ..." I said.
"Ahhhhhhmm see I.. I... am not forcing you . You know I ...I don't want to see, again the fight between you and jordan. If you really wanna wish then can you come to LAKE if ...if you don't mind. "
"Who are coming to LAKE" I said.
"No one else. Look don't take it some other sense I just want that my birthday party goes well without any argument or fight. That's all what I want " Scarlett said.
" You and me....fine I'll will be there no problem". I said and I cut the phone.
On one side I was happy but on other side I was nervous too. My dad was very strict and he doesn't like the young relationship. (between boys and girls).
Some where I found him as an orthodox. I reached college and wished Scarlett on her birthday. Everyone was wishing her. As the class ended up after 6 hours some of Scarlett's friend were going with her may be to celebrate , I hardly know. Avi was also with her . Both sat in a car . Avi's hand was on left shoulder of Scarlett. She was smiling. He kissed Scarlett on her cheeks and then forehead. I took my eyes off and went home just then only when my friends came to me and said to go with them in her birthday party.
I denied them and said them to go .
"Butt....". Banjo said ( one of my friend).
"Plsssssss" I nodded my head in no. But forced them to attend the party without me only. They went .
I came home, read books, completed tasks. lt took four hours. I went to the roof ,talked to my elder brother .
" What's that best thing in your life that you never wanna lose"....I stared at him .
"Of course my family or what" he said...."why are you asking this to me , wanna hear your name" he laughed.
I smiled and said "that's why God sent you to me".
After one hour of talk we came down from roof and we were about to go in our room then only when my brother said in a confused way to me ....
"Abhi are you in love " ....
"I hardly know ..... what's love " I said and went to my room and started studying.
After few of study my maid Shella knocked on my door for dinner. I went down for dinner. As we all have finished the dinner at that time when the gatekeeper came and told my dad that one girl is waiting outside and introducing herself as friend of Abhi baba. My father widened his eyebrows by looking at me. I swallowed spit. My father ordered him to call her with respect.
That girl was none other than Scarlett. She was wearing floral dress with little makeup and black sandals. She already tied her hair and made bun of that. She wished good evening to all . She looked at me and said
"why didn't you come"??????
"I was busy in some stuffs but why you came here" I said.
"For this " she put cake in my mouth and laughed." This was the last piece of cake which I saved for you " .
On that piece a smiling face was made.
"Can you introduce your friend to us also son" my father said .
"Yah ahhhmmm.... she is my classmate Scarlett and Scarlett he's my dad. She is ...aaa....I mean today is her birthday and that's why she invited me too but I couldn't go so she came on her own . That's it."
Not only she , we have also come . My friends were there.
Darren said .......
"What a wrong thing, just ate the cake and what about her gift."
"I don't have bought any gift I m sorry" I said.
"No Scarlett ...( continue speaking);" ,Bajno said
"Shut up Banjo " I said.
"In the left drawer in the right corner of his bedroom there is a gift for you. Banjo never tell a lie".
Scarlett stared at me I put my head down just I don't wanna to face her right now.
"What are you doing gyes , Scarlett just go to his room and Abhi you , why are you standing like a statue go and give her gift" .... my elder sister said .
I saw towards dad and he hinted me for approval .
We came in our room and I had given her gift. It a was a locket of half broken heart. She said
"what type of gift is this, what does it mean "????????????.
"Turn this into full heart by adding the half piece from your own side when you'll start to feel the same for me as I feel for you. It's magnetic." I said .
"What if I could not do this ever"...? she said.
"Fine some goals goes in goalkeeper's hand also I'm not pushing you to do, I said what I feel for you "..... and.... "
"and what you feel for me???" she said with a mixed feeling of fear and hesitation while I was saying. She was looking into my eyes .
I put my palm on her cheeks , bend my face and was taking my lips close to her slowly. At that time only when my dad called me down by saying....
"Why are you taking so much time while giving a gift ."
"NO dad she is just taking a look of my room " I said .
