Chapter 3: house hunting

i walked out the door and locked it for the last time there's a gate u have to go through to get to the second floor so I was safe for the immediate second so I decided to go and take ,3 nails, and a hammer from my bag and I nailed the door closed so in case I had to come back people couldn't just go in there and take things. and with my door kept safe an old compas my parents left me before they died and me all set i Left my house. in the parking lot their were 3 zombies only one of witch I knew he was a good person but obviously he wasn't any more, I chose to utilize stealth because I've played enough video games to know that I don't want to take on more than a couple zombies all at once and I have yet to know if I can actually stop them or not so that's what would be my main strategy untill I could find a place to set up shop. it's been about 25 min minutes and I'm heading to the local sporting goods to see if there's any supplies I can use and try to get a real gun or some more gear that'll probably work better than my nail gun and won't waste my precious work supplies, and just get some general other supplies cause who knows how long what I have will last. So I'm around the corner from the store and I was going to take an ally wich is just ahead of me but It's being blocked by a group of zombies and that's my only way through and I can't turn around cause a mass of z's started to form a bit back so my only option is to fight or find another way to get across these rows of buildings and having consigned myself to a temporary stealth approach thing I chose to figure out what to do next, well what I found was the padlocked gate to the storage unit building wasn't closed all the way so I can get in through that I did and I closed the gate behind me so it would be a lot more dificult to follow me in as to the front door I saw a corpse of someone who who tried to get in but died of blood loss just before they had a password written on a paper I have seen a couple of bodies before on the way here so I didn't feel as sick as I used to so I was able to loot it I got a water bottle a set of keys for a vehicle which I presumed is in the fenced area and a Bluetooth speaker witch I figured could help me out with my own personal music or just a distaction for the zombies later on. next I typed in the password and the door opened I looked around and it seemed to be the main office and where yo would most likely be able to rent a unit on the back wall their was a general map with some details of the facility , the building was a 3 story fenced off storage unit building and every door slash elevator needed a pin to open and surprisingly had it's own internal power source so it didn't require on grid power witch is pretty sweet I think I may make this my home plus their shouldn't be too many zombies sence it's a closed off building yah I think this is the place
