Chapter 4: Off To The Beach!
Cherry woke up and feel the urge to use the washroom. it was the first time for her to feel this way.
since in the Angel Realm they didn't need to eat or drink they didn't need to... go to washroom.
feeling the urge. she didn't know what to do. but looked at Shia with teary eyes.
"b-but Shia-nee is still sleeping..."
she didn't want to wake her up but she need to do something to relief this urge.
After complecating for who know how long. She decide to wake her up.
Shia felt the dreams left her. and what awaits her was the teary eyed Cherry.
"what happen Cherry?"
she immediately asked. thinking it was a nightmare that awoken her or something.
"t-this!"
Cherry pointed down ward. Shia who a fast thinker were immediately knew what's wrong with her.
"toilet? okay come."
Shia knew that she is underaged so she didn't knew the common sense in this realm. she not knowing how to pee is not that bizzare to her.
she led her to the washroom. and explained how to use the toilet and how to clean herself. the girl listened carefully and nodded to let her know that she understands.
after relieving herself Cherry felt... really good.
she flushed the toilet like she being told to. she then went to the bathroom to wash her face and brush her teeth.
"it seems that Shia-nee forgot to teach me how to brush my teeth yesterday..."
remembering that they had to brush their teeth twice a day. she couldn't help but think of yesterday.
she went to the dining room. on the way she smelled something good. and couldn't help but look forward for today breakfast!
she gave out her brightest greeting to Shia when she looked over her.
"good morning Shia-nee."
"morning Cherry. breakfast would be ready soon. wait patiently okay?"
"okaaaay!"
...
while eating. Cherry felt as if she forgotten something. she munched the rice more slowly.
that makes Shia worried. and couldn't help but asked wether she didn't like it.
"no it's not that Shia-nee. but I think I had forgotten something."
she then told what was bothering her.
"why don't you recall what are you doing yesterday?"
"..."
Cherry lost in her thoughts. and then it ticked her.
...
"t-this could be dangerous."
Cherry eyed at the shack over 10km away from her.
she then glanced at the first friend that she held on her hand.
"I-I need to leave you here first okay? i-if something happen to me... just don't forget me okay?"
with slightly teary eye she put it down on the shade of the coconut tree.
"I'm going! I-I give you a name after this was done okay?"
...
"ahhhh!"
It totally ticket on her mind!
h-how could she forgot her first friend!???
with teary eye she confessed her sin to Shia.
"I-I leaved my friend by strange tree near the shack."
"friend? don't you think she will go home by herself if it took too long?"
Cherry shook her head. and explained.
"no, she can't walk by herself. I found her near the yellow ground completely wet."
"I need to press her until the water comes out fully."
she then described more detail about her friend.
'T-thank God it was not a person!'
Shia sighed in relief after confirming it's description. she then continued to calm this girl.
"let's go to the beach to look for her after the breakfast okay?"
"alright..."
Cherry continued to eat with heavy heart.
they both didn't talk more. they immediately finished their breakfast and went to the beach using bicycle.
...
"uwaaaa~"
Cherry heart raced as she felt the morning wind smacking her right side of her face.
she met quite a lot of people on the way. it makes her happy for some reason.
"Shia-nee, Shia-nee! look look!"
"yes, I saw it. hang on! I be accelerating!"
"right, Cherry could you hide your wings when you're outside the house?"
of course! she didn't ask why but she hid it without hesitation.
'good girl'
Shia praised on her mind.
....
it was a quite quick ride. they arrived at their destination. they went down the stairs until stomping the sand on their feet.
"Shia-nee! come come!"
Cherry already went ahead showing Shia the way. she were very energic, if it not for Shia jogged over to her she would already being left out already.
she picked her friend. it still has some stain and tatters. she hugged it into her chest. as if she was sharing her warmth.
when she sensed that Shia catching up with her. she turned around and showed it to her.
she grinned and smiled broadly at her.
"look! she's alright Shia-nee!"
"that's great!"
she then. looked carefully at it. it has quite torn over it's belly. but she could patch it up later. she nodded. and patted Cherry head.
"since we're already here, let's play?"
Shia clapped her hand and decided it.
Confused and a little excited at what they will be playing here. Cherry eyes shined with golden light. that matched with her hair.
noticing this Shia couldn't help but knock her forehead lightly.
"do you still remember your lesson to restain your power here?"
"ah, right."
She restained it. but it immediately showed up by the next second. it embarrassed her. but she couldn't help it...
while Shia ponder about what to play. Cherry were prayed. and the phenomon from last night played again.
the Sky shined light ray towards her. it immediately covered 5 meters around her.
while this is happening Shia already went far away from her by instinct.
"a-almost! just seeing it from here makes my eyes burn!"
Shia smiles bitterly. she still haven't told the girl that she was a demon. she doesn't want their relationship be affected by it.
"eh? why are you standing far away Shia-nee?"
with confused look Cherry looked over her.
