Chapter 33: CHAPTER 32: How It Came To be?
Zero's Point Of View
After saving the Elven Village and curing their prince we were thrown a feast for that achievement but deep inside my heart it feels surreal. When I was in Earth I won't even consider this kind of treatment. After the party ended there's only one guest room so the four of us Kitsune, Merleona, Eugene and I shared the room. The three of them were in the bed while I was settled down in the floor. I tried my best to sleep but I can't because everytime I close my eyes those memories kept on hunting me.
"You can't sleep yet?" Kitsune asked so that I looked at her and the three of them were sitting there. "So, the three of you can't sleep as well". I said as an answer to her question. "Is this a homing instinct?". Merleona asked in a bored tone. "Yes, I guess". I replied to her. I was going lay down again when a question stopped me. "Why was it that everytime you sleep, you murmur something like you're pleading for yourself?". Eugene asked me that made me shiver not because of the question but on how did she knew.
"How did you know about that?". I asked her as I curiously look at her. "Well it's not only me but the four of us did". Valerie suddenly says that made me startle a little bit. "And how did you get here, weren't you supposed to be at your room?". I suddenly asked her. "Let's just say that it's a girls intuitive nature to do so". She answered me. "So tell us, why is that? why would you mutter those words in your sleep?". Merleona asked me in a determined way. "Ahh, it's a nightmare of course I would be afraid of it". I reasoned at them but they looked so doubtful about me.
"Is it about your past? that you won't even dare to share with us?". Kitsune suddenly ask in a very concerned voice even though she was usually calm. "Come on, uou already knew that I was a Foxnewt a daughter of a Fox Beast and a Human". She muttered. "You knew as well that I was a goddess and Eugene and her lineage". Merleona followed Kitsune's statement. "And that I was a Princess of the Elven tribe". Valerie says with questining look present in her eyes.
"Then, what about you? What sort of past do you have that you shared with us? none". Kitsune exclaimed with teary eyes. "We didn't ask you about it because as time passes you'll eventually tell us about it". Eugene says. "But we can't take it anymore so tell us now?". Merleona demanded so as the things became so intense I bowes my head. "There isn't a single interesting story to talk about my past so I didn't bother to talk about that". I said in a very bored way of talking. But a slap had landed to my face that shocked me. I looked at Kitsune whom did it. She was crying.
"Sorry I didn't mean to do that to you, but for you to say that your past doesn't matter at all that's terrible". She said with deep voice. I dont know but seeing them so desperate to know my past seems to pull me to tell them. I sighed in disbelief for them to be eager to see. "Okay... I'm gonna let you see what it is like to be me in my past but just don't regret okay?". I said as I look at them. Thus, they nod nonhesistantly.
"History Magic: Life Flashback". I chanted as a screen pop out from thin air. Thus, the my past was projected in front of their eyes starting from when I was in a orphanage.
I was then a cheerful boy who doesn't care about my disability. I was drawing at that time when suddenly someone threw a stone in my back resulting in me being out of balance as I hit my face into the ground. "Hahahaha!!! look he's kissing the floor hahahaha". Those who hit me laughed that caught attention of everyone and because of that event I was named as Weirdo, Dirt Earter and any other aliases.
So that I became the clown of that orphanage being laughed at. Then After leaving that place. I started going to school that'swhen I was hoping for a change but not. I was a victik of bullying. My classmate calls me T-Rex because of how my hand was curling. A Nerd thats what they calls me. I was living alone and lived by selling cadies lollipops and other sweets for children so that I can save some money. Everytime there's an assignment I was being tasked to do my classmates because if I don't they'll accuse me of stealing then ask for the Teacher's to scold me.
As teachers, I thought they would be more understanding un my case but I was wrong. They'll call me a son of a bitch, a bastard, a jerk, an incompetent fool as they physically abuse me by streching my ears,spanking a steel rod, pulling my hair in everyone's presence secretly smiling in their minds. As. I beg for myself. "Please don't hit me, don't hurt me". Those are the words I always says in everytime they abuse me. I was isolated from them even those whom I thought my friends turned to be just using me for grades. And there's times I became a punching bagas I was ambushed by those who subjected me of atrocities.
I end up being full of bruises everytime that event happens. I can't fight them of course. If I wasn't doing anything bad to them, they can already make an excuse then that's a good reason they'll accuse me for something extravagant issues to deem me as a guilty. At that point I make a invisible baerier towards other people. I was afraid of being accused, betrayed, abused and be used again. So I then. I was afraid all this time hecause of those traumatic experiences I have been through. And then, the footage ended
Upon seeing those memories, I became silent remembering those events. Then, I gained my composure and thoughts because I was being hugged by the four of them. Crying relentlessly because of the truth they saw. "I didn't know that a person so calm and collected like you has face so much grief". Valerie stated in her realization. "So that's why, you can't really trust a person because of that now I understand". Kitsune says after regaining her composure. "But, it's different now, just like how we rely on you, you can talk about your worries from now on okay". She said as she stare at me in the eyes.
