After what happen in the canteen, everybody was quiet as they don't dare to make a noise in class.
Well, except for the teacher since he doesn't know what happen at all.
The usual noisy class turns to a class that listens to the teacher's lesson, even the teacher himself is surprise as he saw Mai listen to his class tentively.
He call out to Mai who looks pissed whenever somebody fools around in class.
"Mai come over here for a second."
The teacher gesture Mai and as they leave the classroom, everybody starts to pray for their teacher's safety, even Suba-kun himself.
Normally when Mai lost the challenge, she will just laugh and get it over with like it's nothing.
But today she lost because she choke onto the food and Suba-kun even surrender defeat when he lost as well.
But for Mai, she is actually not Pissed but unable to sleep because of her allergies.
Outside the classroom~
The teacher wants to ask Mai about something until she tilts her head to the window, staring.
Being curious, the teacher also look towards to the window.
"Crap! They notice us!" Some students turn back and read their textbooks as they saw the faces of Mai and the teacher being Pissed.
'Well it is their imagination, since Dad doesnt look Pissed but curious to what was going on. Only Mai knows that some people in the class is trying to see what are they going to talk about outside.' Thoughts by Suba-kun
"What's the matter Mai?" The teacher ask.
"Nothing, what did you call me out for?" Mai ask the obvious
"Uh.. Is something the matter? You aren't sleeping in class like usual and its bothering me since the class is so quiet for once.." the teacher said
"At first you said sleeping in class is a problem and now the fact that I'm not is also a problem, come on! If the class is noisy, how do you expect them to learn? Suba-kun and I are able to do it is because we got study after school." Mai protested.
"Right.. Anyway, if you have any problems, tell me at anytime, maybe I can help you." The teacher said with concern.
"Thanks." As Mai nodded her head and went into the classroom.
The lessons continues and its finally after school where everybody go to their club activites.
A random guy from another class say to his new classmate: "I bet you are wondering which club does Mai go and might even wonder which club does Suba-kun go as well.
Well.. hehe
The club that they go is a shokugeki club."
The new classmate look at him blankly.
"Oh? You ask me why Suba-kun is in it too? Of course it's because of Mai~" Random guy laugh
The new classmate look at him blankly.
"Love? Nah~ A sense of rivalry.
Plus Suba-kun can help his family.
His family only contains his father, his two sibiling which are twin brothers and himself. That's why!"
The new classmate look at him blankly.
Random guy: "I know this might sound.. a little bit ridiculous but the club only has two people.."
The new classmate look at him blankly.
Passerby who saw the random guy talking to himself shakes his head and leave out of sight.
Random guy: "Ok, rules for the shokugeki club! First off! People has to pay them to bet whatever they want in shokugeki."
The new classmate: "What?! A club who accepts money to do their activites?! Thats crazy!"
Random guy: "However, it isn't, because after they collect the money until the end of the month, they took half of it and donate it for charity.
The rest of it, they split half for themselves.
They don't allow to cheat and get to choose whatever shokugeki challenge they want and they don't lose anything.
Surprisingly, Mai has a lot of challengers."
The new classmate: "Well, duh.. I also feel like challenging her if it weren't because of money."
....
Today, somebody challenge her in a duel of math papers.
Whoever finish the 2 math papers in the specific amount of time and get the highest score wins!
Mai didnt sleep for once when it comes to math and she won with a total amount of time: 15 minutes.
I know.. exaggerations isnt it?
But there are some genius in this world.
Forget to tell you.. hehe...
She got full marks for both papers!
Amazing isnt it?
Soon the day ends.
Suba-kun as well as his father went home together.
Normally his father will offer Mai a ride home, since they live in the same street but for once Mai rejected the offer because she has a new part time job..
She quickly jog down a few streets with a small handbag hanging around by her shoulder.
She take out a jacket from her bag and wear it.
" I'm finally here." Mai said as she walk towards the door in front of her.
Inside is where she is going to start her new job...
