Chapter 23: CHAPTER 23
It was Saturday morning which was a day after yesterday, Mrs Tayo had woke up early in that morning and she also woke Sarana up to clean her room and started dressing for Mrs Olotun's house that they were going to. She was in the kitchen cleaning it and also cooking breakfast for the family.
Mr Tayo and other children were still in their rooms sleeping, Sarana had done cleaning her room and went to the bathroom to take her bath. Her mother was in her room taking her bath and she had time the food, Saran came out from the bathroom with underwear sat on the chair at the dressing room and started dressing. Mrs Tayo had finished dressing went to the kitchen to check the food, the food too had done off the light and served it inside dishes taking it to the dining room.
Bolu and Tit had woke and they had performed their solat so they were in the living room sat down on the chair when their mother came out, put the dinner dishes on the table and spread the plates serving the food. Sarana and her father came out at the same time and went straight to the dining room sat down and having breakfast
After finished eating Bolu and Titi packed the plates to the kitchen to wash, Sarana and her mother got down to the living room and took their bags.
"My husband!, we are on our way!"
"Okay! Go safety and my regard to Mrs Olotun!"
"I will! So take care of yourself and the children!"
"Bye! Daddy!" Sarana said and left the house, entered into the car and drove out. Gate closed after leaving.
Mrs Olotun was in the kitchen cooking for her, her son and others that were coming which were Mrs Tayo and Sarana, Olawe was in his room sleeping thought that what his mother said was just a play. His mother went his room to check off him when she had been expecting him to get down to the living room and he had not, door opened met him under the blanket and used it to wrap his head.
"Oh! My God, this boy is still sleeping by this time of the day!" He removed the blanket as he heard his mother voice closed to his ear.
"Olawale! You are still sleeping!"
"Mom! Good morning Ma!" Rubbing his eye.
"Morning my son!, get up now and dress nicely!"
"What happened? And where are we going to?"
"You have forgot that Sarana and his mother are coming today! So you have to dress nice"
"Mom! You really mean it!" Sat down.
"Did you think am playing before?"
"I can't believe this! I can't" got down from the bed.
"So take your bath and dress up, they have been on their way and will arrived soon"
"Mummy! I don't like the way you are doing at all!"
"Like what? Because I want the best for you!"
"That is not best mom!" Heard a knocked at the door.
"You heard that! They have arrived so be fast!" She left his room and the door closed.
"Oh! My God!" Beat himself and went to the bathroom.
Mrs Olotun got to the living room, the housemaid had opened the door for them and attended to them.
"Welcome my lovely friend!" Mrs Olotun said with smile and sat down on the chair.
"How are you my friend!" Mrs Tayo asked.
"I am good and what about you my friend?"
"Am good too and your uncle sent his regard!"
"Good morning Ma" Sarana greeted.
"Morning my daughter! How are you? And my uncle I will send you back to him with regard and a cloth"
"Am fine ma" Sarana replied.
"That is how your own be my friend!"
"Yes oh!, Olawale will be here soon"
"Okay! I am waiting for him!" Rest her back on the chair and Saran was looking around the house.
"This girl don't give you anything, what happened?"
"No! Friend, am the one that said that we okay!"
"Without taking anything, what of you my daughter?"
"I am okay Ma, don't want anything as well!"
"Okay! If you said so!" Olawale got there.
"Good morning Ma" he greeted and standing at their front with his phone in his hand.
"Morning! My Son, how was your night?"
"Sit down! They are here because of you"
"It was fine MA" looked at his mother and down on a chair facing all of them.
"I think your mother have told everything before now and why I am here with Sarana?"
"Yes MA, but I don't get her very well!"
"I will explain more, don't think you have see Sarana before Or have you?"
"Once MA!, when mother did video call at your shop and Sarana too was there"
"Good! So we want you and Sarana to be dating not just dating you will get marry soon!"
"It is like you want to matmake us together!"
"If it's that how you view it then no problem!" Mrs Tayo said with louder voice.
"But I have my own girlfriend now!"
"In United State right?" Said with smile.
"Yes ma! And I love her very much!"
"She will come to Nigeria and live here?"
"No! She can't come to Nigeria!"
"Then how could that possible!, you are in Nigeria and she is in U. S how could you meet again and not talk of marry each other as one!"
"I am going back U. S to meet her" Mrs Tayo and his mother laughed at the same time.
"Me and your mother have told you to forget of going back to U. S and forget about that girl!"
"Ma! I can't, no I can't!!" Said with lower voice.
"Leave your father's land, his properties and be leaving with just a girl in her own country"
"You have to!, now it's Sarana you will be thinking about how to get along and Sarana from now he is your boyfriend so obey him!"
"Yes MA!" Said with lower voice.
"Olawale! Look, it's not alone us that agreed with this your father which is Sarana's father too support it and very happy about it" his mother said.
"You heard what your mother said, so it's order from above which can't be disobey!"
"Yes! Ma, I heard you!" He felt bad.
"In the oldling days it was not love before married it was love after married, so believe that!"
"Yes! That is how is it my Friend!" Said with smile.
"Exchange your contacts and after finish eating you will talk so that you will know each other well"
"Okay MA!". " Yes mom!" Sarana said, gave her phone to Olawale and him too gave her his own exchanged contact and returned the phones.
"Let me go and set the table!" Mrs Olotun said and stood up.
"Sarana follow me!" Going to the kitchen.
"Yes MA!" But the bag down and followed her
"My friend! I need cake!" Said louder for her to hear.
"Okay! But for what?" Said louder as well.
"For your daughter's birthday, Titi!"
"It is this month?" Got down to the dining room with Sarana and setting the table.
"Yes!, it's on twenty of this month!"
"It's almost close, no problem I will get it"
"White and red, that is her favour right colours!"
"Okay!, so come and eat, Olawale stand up!"
"Okay my friend!" Put her bag on the chair and went to the dining room with Olawale, Olawale was just looking dull he was not happy at all.
