Chapter 3: 2. Awakening
Seven Years Later, Va Shi Mirage Clan, Matriarch mansion, 12.30 pm.

It was now several years later, inside a beautiful crystal like mansion, surrounded by beautiful crystal like trees, were two women and two children, the women were drinking tea while talking and watching their children play with a smile, it's the matriarch Edonia together with Violetra and their daughters, Xionia and Myretra.

Violetra said proudly "The children are making quite the pair, they are such young geniuses,
I am proud of them for getting this far already, even though they are quite.. mischievous." she rolled her eyes as she saw the little girls sneak away with a cookie.
Edonia nodded with a smile she slowly took a sip before saying "Indeed, but relax sister,
they managed to obtain their beginner Clan Class [Black Magi] already, I am sure they will ascend classes in the near future.."

While they were still talking, someone suddenly knocked and entered the room,
it was Miatra who now looked almost exactly like her elder sister, the little girls looked and when they saw who it was, came running over quickly with a big smile.
""Auntie!""
Little Xionia looked exactly just like her mother and aunt, with her black twin ponytails, and Silver eyes, only smaller and more naughty.
Myretra also looked just like her mother she was a little shy but quite sweet.
Miatra smiled and hugged the girls, and gave them a big kiss on the cheek while she carried them with her towards the other ladies.
Edonia and Violetra smiled and stood up and received their daughters while kissing their little sister on the cheek as well.
Edonia "You came back out from closed training quite early dearest little Sister,
but I see you managed to gain a breakthrough, congratulations."
Violetra "Please have some tea dearest little Sister" she said as she poured Mia some tea.
Mia nodded in gratitude and sipped the tea with a smile. "My favorite citrus tea."

They all sat down the little girls started telling Mia about the things they were learning, while the ladies gave them advice, after an hour suddenly a *ping* rang out from Mia's device, she looked at it curiously, and flinched a little bit, the other women noticed,
Edonia asked" What's wrong Mia?"
Miatra "The Crystal Chamber gave me a notification.. Axl will awaken within the hour.
The other women were confused for a few seconds but Edonia suddenly realized,
she said uncaring. "I.. See.. I almost forgot.."
Xionia "Mommy, What's an Axl?" Myretra also looked curiously, Edonia smiled and gently stroked her daughter's hair. "Axl is just a boy, but he isn't anyone.. you need to worry about."
She then looked towards Mia once more.
"Mia could you please receive him, and bring him to the mountain private property, he will train and remain there till twelve years old, no one is to talk to him, except for us here in this room."
Mia stood up and nodded, "Yes Sister."
she waved to the kids with a smile and proceeded to walk towards the exit.

The kids ran back to their spot after Mia left and started playing again,
Violetra asked, "You aren't curious about him?"
Edonia scoffed, "I'm not holding my breath.." she started sipping some more tea, though there seemed to be a uncertain glint in her eyes..

An hour later, a young boy could be seen floating in a Crystal Chamber, it was the now seven year old Axl, he had spikey platinum hair, which reached his shoulders, he himself had a healthy light brown skin tone, he was also a bit taller than his Twin Sister Xionia, and his muscles were more defined, but they still had a similar face.. His eyes slowly started moving and his right hand twitched a little bit..
The Chamber slowly stirred open and released Axl was quietly descending.
As he stood on the floor, he slowly started to open his lavender eyes, he frowned and squinted a bit, he suddenly lost his balance.
'I finally awakened.. from the message I got from auntie Linn, I unfortunately got born into a female only clan who treats men like servants, I wasn't able to be retrieved in time and was put into stasis, she told me to train hard and keep my mouth shut and act like a mute, to make sure they don't meddle much with my training, as they wouldn't let me live in the clan, they will definitely place me somewhere private, but close enough to be watched, they will also let me train or else they won't be able to use me properly as their servant.. I also seem to have a twin older sister..*sigh* forget about her for now, I should focus more on myself.'

Axl slowly got up and started getting used to using his muscles, it was a bit painful but doable, he also got used to using his eyes..

After a few minutes the door opened and a Lady stood there watching him wide-eyed in shock, 'He already awakened, he.. is cuter than I expected.' It was Mia.
She held some clothes and a backpack,
Axl looked at her with a cold uncaring gaze, which made her flinch, though she composed herself quickly and said with a smile, "So you have already awakened Axl, I am your Aunt Miatra and also an Elder here in the Va Shi Clan, hurry and dress up, I'll be taking you to your quarters." she handed him some warm looking training clothes, coat, socks and then took out a pair of shoes from the backpack.
Axl simply nodded and started putting on his clothes, Mia frowned a little, but kept her cool and waited.

After 20 minutes Axl was done and moved around a bit getting used to the feeling of clothes, he stood in front of Mia but he kept a cold look, Mia said a little frustrated after she gave him his backpack, "Looks like you're ready to go.." she turned around and started walking while Axl followed her. 'Why doesn't he say anything, and that gaze.. Does he look down on me? Does he know? It shouldn't be possible.. Maybe he's..a mute?'
They moved outside and took a quiet path,
Axl kept looking around coldly, but if you looked carefully you could see the curiosity in his eyes as watched the endless white snow, green trees and the few other buildings,
while he kept walking behind Mia of course..

After hiking for around 30 minutes, they finally reached an open field on top of a mountain, Axl looked around a bit tired and saw he had quite the view, it was like part of the top of the was sliced off partially, there was a big house built in the rest of the mountain with a partially frozen waterfall with a river running on the left side of the house, there were also some training dummies on the other side of the field. It looked pretty peaceful.
Mia handed Axl a key, "This is the house you are going to be living in and Training at, till you turn twelve years old, everything you need should be available inside the backpack or at the house, food pills and ingredients will be brought every week on monday by me,
you are not to leave here until you are told to any questions?"
Axl just shook his head and walked towards his house. Mia felt annoyed at his behavior but for some reason also felt a bit sad..
She watched him quietly walk into the house before vanishing quickly back to the Clan.

Mia returned home and entered like she did before, the little girls were now back in their rooms training and meditating, her Sisters were still drinking some tea, they smiled and motioned her to take a seat once again,
while Violetra poured her some tea again.
Violetra "How was the boy, Little Sister?"
Mia took a seat and frowned before taking a sip of tea, she sights, "He looked pretty handsome, but.. Really.. Cold, and he never said anything.. Like, he was a mute.." as she said this she held up her device and a projection shot out showing a video of Axl in Miatra point of view, the women looked carefully and were a little stunned at his appearance.
Edonia said with a smile, "He has my face.. but his father's eyes, his hair is something you rarely see, he is actually more interesting than I thought, Hmm, let him train the way he wants no need to meddle unless needed , I wanna see how far he can go."
The other ladies nodded and continued drinking tea and talking, they didn't notice that there were two little children observe them quietly, they quickly ran away again..

The girls we're now back in Xionia's room giggling, Myretra said with an excited smile, "Big Sis, We did it! That was fun!"
Xionia nodded then said with a cheeky grin,
"Yup, we are super awesome! that'll teach them for keeping secrets, did you hear my mommy? Axl is my brother.. Actually I never met a boy before, but we can't let him become better than us! we should keep training!"
Myretra nodded happily, The girls sat down again in a meditating position with a smile, and continued training..
