Chapter 3: 3. Getting ready
I packed my stuffs as Mr. Williams called me awhile ago that he'll now hired me as a maid in his house. And he said that I have a room to stay, well everything is already prepared. But I don't know if what days or month I will be able to go back here. And I mind that Dwayne will be alone here in our apartment may be for long if I will start my new job.
I took a bathe. Afterwards, I ate my breakfast. I worn a mid denim and a red plaid shirt and just a flats. I just put a light face powder then I walked outside my room, carrying my small suitcase bag where my clothes and personal stuffs was inside of it.
"Let's go?" Dwayne placed itself in front of me as I closed the door of my room.
I nodded. "You're more than excited than me huh.." I said in a wisecracked. But in fact, deep inside I feel sad for Dwayne. I will not on her side starting from now as I will start to work.
My consciousness awakes as I noticed her stepped towards me. She cupped my face. "Hey sis! Don't worry about me okay? Remember, I can handle my self. You should just always mind of your work and promises, especially to me. Understand?"
I know she just said it so that I'll not be worried to her. As I looked on her, there's a sad side attached on her face. Even she's try to smile and it illumined across of her face, not to notice her sad face.
I shook my head. Dwayne accompanied me out of apartment and until we reached the sidewalk area to wait over there. Until there's a taxi stopped in front of us as I make a signal into it.
"Hey sis! If you had a problem or helped, just call me okay?"
I put down first my suitcase, then I looped forward to Dwayne, which I notice that she looks sad as I glanced at her face.
I stepped a bit on her giving her a tight hugged. "My promised is your wished. But you'll also promised to me that you'll study hard okay?" She pulls back slightly to get look at me.
She raised her right hand as swear. "Your promised also to me. Don't you always forgot to call me huh?! I'll be sad if you don't.." She said pouting. Then she lowered her right hand.
I hugged her for a second time and I feel pitiful for Dwayne for being not with her--She'll be alone from now.
"Gotta go sis! The taxi is waiting on you!"
The heck! I didn't noticed that there's a taxi waiting for me there.
I waved my hand to Dwayne as I stepped in the taxi to say goodbye to her.
"Bye!" I heard she shouted it to me as the taxi starts to run. I tried to placed my hand outside the window taxi, while I'm sitting at the back seat, waving my hand to Dwayne while the taxi gradually running away from her.

The taxi stopped as it reached my destination. I'll pay my fair at the taxi driver then I get out inside, carrying my small suitcase.
My mouth gaped and I was gawked. I see now a mansion house and it looks like I'm entering a property of a huge hacienda positioned at my front. Am I dreaming?
I noticed that it was surrounded by a trees and I never thought that I'll be worked on this mansion. And speaking of it, I've been fall asleep at the taxi. Hence, I didn't see where did the taxi pass through when I'm on my way. And after all is, it almost take two hours before I reached this place. Breathing in.
I took a bit steps until I stopped in a high and large gate, I press the door bell.
It tooks a second before the gate opened. And when it opens, there's a luxurious car came out there. And I immediately stepped on the other side. I thought it was about to leave as I saw the window and its back seat gently opened. Revealing Mr. Wil who was seated there.
"Oh Cindy, is that you!"
I nod to him and smiled. He punctually forgot me.
I saw his driver get outside, and quickly opened a door for him. He helped him to stand as his cane was on his left stand.
Before he took steps toward me, I just immediately walked towards him so that he wouldn't make steps to approach me.
"You okay sir?" I asked while I'm holding her hand helping him to stand properly.
He looked at me, giving me a big nod with a smile across on his face. "Yeah, I'm okay. Thank you."
I smiled. "Your welcome sir."
I helped him to walked inward of his house as his chauffer gets back inside of his car.
"I thought that you'll not go here. Well, you already here. But not in an exact time."
"Actually, I-i have no watch sir. Sorry." I respond embarrassingly. Well I really don't have watch nor cellphone to check the time and I didn't noticed if what time I have here. Maybe I should buy a watch next time.
"It's okay. If you want I'll but for you now?"
I shook my head. "No, sir. I can, thanks." I said. And he gently laughed.
As we reached the indoor, my jaw suddenly dropped as I saw his huge cozy house. There are antique vases placing at the edges, various paintings, the floor is marbled, and there's a chandelier on ceilings. The wall was tinted of a glass. I'm now speechless.
"By the way, again. I'm Watson Williams. And I would like you to meet my maids."
My attention stirred up as I'm watching the entirety of his house, when I heard Mr. Williams talking to me.
I took his hands and I shook it. "I'm Cindy Quinn sir." I said. Recognizing my self to him again. Then I took my hands away as we shook our hands.
"Anyway. I want you to meet them.." He said pausing. And I tilted my head to see him talking about.
I saw a four girls standing beside me. And I noticed that they're worn of a maids uniform. And they might determined by Mr. Williams.
I shook my hands to them as I introduced my self. "Hi Cindy. Nice meeting you!" Ashley said with smiling. Ashley is a kitchen maid. Yes, she's pretty girl. And it seems that we're just the same of age.
"Nice to meet you, too Ashley." I replied. Giving her also a smile.
"Well. As you met them all Cindy, you'll start tomorrow.." I turned around to Mr. Watson as I heard him said.
And if it is so.. I'm now really hire?
I grinned. "Really sir? B-ut..you not know me well.." I said. And I bended down my head.
"It's not a problem anymore. Well that, I know that you're a kind lady and I don't see nothing wrong on you." He stated, then he tapped his right hand on my shoulder.
I lift upward my head, and I tight line my lips. "T-hank you sir." I said happy. Giving him a big smile, spreads on my face.
He sniggered. "Its nothing. Everything is welcomed for me.." He paused. "Just take a rest for now. Ashley will accompany you into your room."
I looked on Ashley who's standing beside me and it seems she's waiting me there.
"So, lets go?" I moved my head up and down as my respond. Then he accompanied me toward my room while I'm carrying my small suitcase.
