Chapter 24: There is no plot in the apocalypse(7)
Angie:"i see,cool"
Harmony:"alright so what do we need to prepare"
Caleb:"we've made a list,and already started contacting people to gain a few of the things on the list"
Besides the diagram/reports for zombies,beth also had ivy create one for superpowers,both elemental and physical,on top of that she had ivy make an actual detailed list of what they needed,the list began with what they absolutely must prepare,and ended with items that could be ignored if they are not given enough time
Lucas:"since I was in the army,I know a few people and can get us some more weapons"
Parker:"sure"
It's not that they didn't want to tell the family of three about mr.wang,they simply didn't want to scare them more than they already have,also it never hurt to have more resources,or in this case back ups,secondly,lucas needed something to do so they might as well have him do that
Harmony:"I have a friend who recently got a bunch of furniture and is looking to sell them,I can get us furniture,along with some clothes"
Angela:"sure,I'll also gather some sewing kits,cooking materials,medicine,and emergency tools"
Angie:"I have a whole lot of seeds I can provide,besides that,I can also help us in gathering a few domesticated animals,and if you want,I can deal with matters concerning our future seafood since I'm the one who loves seafood the most in this family"
Caleb:"I can gather some basic survival materials for different situations,I can also get us so more cars,and some oil and gas"
Elizabeth:"alright,we are all going to be busy for this period of time,but we all still have to have breakfast and dinner together,we might be busy and unable to have lunch together,but breakfast and dinner is a must"
Angie:"what will you be doing in the meantime then?"
Elizabeth:"I'll be gathering DVDs,all sorts of games,and will also be downloading things like crazy"
Parker:"alright,let's all have lunch and then begin what we need to do"
Although it seems as though they've been talking for a short time,it did take some time for them to adjust to being told about the apocalypse,and they also had to add what they felt was needed to the list,brainstorm ideas on when to get some of the things on there,and calculate the time to make sure they could all arrive within 3 weeks,since they'll be training their butts off for the last week,not that they won't be doing any training now.
They all had a delicious dinner which was cooked by beth and had a bit of the spirit spring 100 times distilled in it,when they all came home around ten dead tired,they all had dinner,and were given the spring water 50 times distilled to help rid them of their fatigue,and make sure they're not cramping when they woke up tomorrow,they've been repeating these actions for two weeks now,and due to continuous intake of the spirit spring water,along with the fact that they apocalypse is nearing,not only did they unlock their powers and become more gorgeous,they also became physically stronger through the continuous exercises.
Back to now
Angie:"wow this is so cool"
Said angie as she was in fog form,her whole body had pretty much melted and become a smoke like fog the color of a pigeon yale like dull blue almost the color of a mercury gray
Caleb:"yeah"
Said caleb who had mini icicles dancing in the palm of his hands
Parker:"i must admit,this is pretty interesting"
Mr.parker had a compressed fireball on the top of his palms while looking at them with fascinating,making the flames dance wildly but beautifully in his palms
Angela/Harmony:"this is great"
Angela was surrounded by a clear stream of water in the shape of a serpentine dragon while she kept changing the shape of the water and having fun with it,Harmony was holding a few vine seeds,which were growing at a rapid rate and waving gently in the wind as though they were dancing,these vines also had a few flowers of different colors on thm making it seem very beautiful
Lucas:"this is so fun"
Said lucas who was surrounded by a wall of solid dirt,which liquified for a while,before changing shapes to whatever lucas had in mind
Elizabeth:"haha,you all look like you're having fun"
said elizabeth who was also displaying her powers at the request of her family,there was a floating stream of serpent shaped water coiling around her,and a few icicles surrounding the water making the icicles glow with the sun shining on them,the slightly purple,but mainly blue icicles and water only brought out her eyes more making her look like a water goddess,if anyone else saw her like this,they would wonder if she was one,the only thing that would make them doubt that she was one instead of straight up just thinking so is her red hair,which doesn't diminish her beauty and still makes her look like a goddess,just not a water goddess,but more like a war goddess,you have to say, the combination of a war goddess like red hair,and a water goddess like skill display only made her seem all the more alluring
Elizabeth:"alright alright,you guys can have fun with it later,but for now we still need to eat lunch,gather some more supplies,and go over everything within this week so that next week we can simply focus only on our powers"
Everyone:"okay"
They all went inside to eat lunch,when done with lunch,they began gathering items again,so far they've gather about 3/4 of the items on the list,and the 1/4 remaining should take three days to gather if nothing goes wrong,giving them a bit more than a week to practice their powers
Angie:"before we leave,how do you increase your powers beth?"
Elizabeth:"through meditation,crystal nucleus,or through anything with spiritual energy such as some jades"
Harmony:"really,how do we determine if the piece of jade has spiritual energy in it or not?"
Elizabeth:"now that you've awaken your powers,you'll be able to sense them,for example when looking at two pieces of jade,you'll be more attracted to the one that has spiritual energy when compared to the one that doesn't have it"
Angela:"that's good,because although jewelry is going to become useless in the apocalypse,your aunt and I still got quite a lot"
Lucas,Caleb,and Parker's lips twitched when they heard what angela said,this was because angela and harmony had a huge love for jewelry,to the point that it could be considered as abnormal,so the few from angela's mouth would definitely amount to around a thousand,and since she said both(angela and harmony) of them got a few,then it's not impossible for the amount to reach,or maybe bypass 5,000,and you have to know,this is going from gold and silver,to jades and diamonds,these three men can guarantee that they'll be at least one type of every kind of diamond,and jade in the selected 'few',and certainly at least three types of every kind of gold and silver since their variation is less than that of diamonds and jades
Elizabeth:"sure,you guys can buy/collect anything you want,even if it seems or is useless"
Harmony:"yay,well we should go on our businesses now,we are on a time limit you know"
