Chapter 3: 2 Menu
8 weeks passed quickly, well rather slow for our "hero" Cyan. His wolf body began to slowly develop, all of his senses had developed, far surpassing the body he had once possessed, however he was rather clumsy walking on all four legs. In his mind he grumbled that the other siblings of his litter had beast man bodies, a mixture of wolf and human. However he rejoiced in the fact that while he could clumsily explore, they were trapped in baby bodies and did nothing but eat sleep and shit. Well that and cry, they definitely cried a lot.
The pungent smell of feces entered his nostrils as one of his sisters began to cry. Cyan gently pawed at the leg of the woman who had given birth to him. "Please" he growled "please change that disgusting child."
"Watch your language Cyan! You know your shit doesn't smell any better." Vivi spoke to him. He couldn't bring himself to call her mom, he already had a mom back on earth. Wouldn't it be cheating to call her that?
Vivi sighed. "You know you're projecting your thoughts again right? How many times have we worked on this. And I don't care if you had another mom back on earth, I gave birth to you, and I am raising you so by the holy dragon you will call me mom."
Cyan growled slowly as he backed away from the woman... from his mom. What was it she had said?
Vivi looked at him with a blank look, as she finished changing his sisters diaper. "You need to close off your mind. One of the perks of being a beast man, even a bestial one such as yourself, is our ability to communicate using our minds."
"You mean telepathy?"
"Kind of, it's more like animal pheromones. We can communicate with any beast, even humans. However humans do not have this ability, one of their several bad qualities, as I'm sure you will come to find out."
"Hey! I'm a human too ya know!"
Vivi laughed "of course you are little puppy, and I'm the queen of the jungle."
"Ok, so how do I stop the. Projecting?? As you called it?"
"Projecting should be something that you only do consciously, you have to think about sending a thought for it to be sent."
If it was that easy would I be doing it all the time? Ugh aren't you supposed to get some sort of system when you reincarnated? Something that makes you into a bad ass?
"What's a system? Is it anything like the menu? "
"Menu?"
As he spoke a menu appeared before him with 3 different choices.

"What are evolution points? And how do I get them?"
"Evolution points are gained through absorbing the cores of beasts, beast man, or humans. Their strength relative to your own will determine the amount of points you get. If they are at your level then you will always get one point. If they are bellow your level you have a chance to get a point, and if they are above your level you will get points depending on how far above you they are."
"Why are my physical stats at .5 but my intelligence at10 and my wisdom at 4?"
"A normal pup would have all of their stats at .5, and as they learn and grow their stats would go up as they begin to specialize. Your intelligence is currently maxed out because you are a reincarnater, it should continue to be maxed out until you're at least level 10 at about 100. "
"Is that high?"
"An average adult beast man has an intelligence of 50, while an average adult human has an intelligence around 70. Genius scholars have an intelligence around 90. So yes 100 is high. Based on that your wisdom will reach 40 if you don't do anything to raise it, which is about average for a beast man."
"So what are evolutions?"
"Evolutions are increases to stats, abilities, affinities with elements. Etc. The increases to stats are always available however the others require certain conditions to meet, however you will get one for free at level 10 without having to meet any conditions, but it is determined at random, and your future development is usually a mix of that skill and your stats."
"When can I start gaining evolution points?"
"Not until adolescence, which for your body will be around a year old, which is likely why he wanted you to go then. Oh! That reminds me, you can turn off the auto transmitting through the options screen in your menu."
