Chapter 26: "THE CCTV FOOTAGE"
"Why did you come back?" Jennifer calmly stared at him, seemingly used to him calling her with intimate names.
"Oh baby did you not miss me at all, how rude...I thought you would be hugging and kissing me the moment you saw me. I being handsome, no woman can reject me."
"Hypocrite.... narcissist." Jennifer coldly spatted two words.
"Hey girl come on, why are you this tough. I have returned after whole 6 months and you are still giving me a cold shoulder."
"What do you want to tell me? I heard Leo mentioning that you have something important that you want me to know...I think it is probably related to Felix." Jennifer ignored his useless questions and directly came to the main point.
"Oh my clever little girl, you are as usual right. I want to tell you about Felix."
"What is that?" Jason interrupted their conversation.
"We have someone here too. I was so absorbed in my girl's beauty that I did not sense someone standing beside her." Nolan chuckled a little and then threw a hostile glare at Jason, his expression read, 'Why are you always there where my sweetheart is? What an annoying man.' But as usual Jason acted as though he was oblivious of his accusations.
"I am serious Nolan, if you have something to tell me then quickly speak, or else get lost."
Sensing that Jennifer was annoyed,he stopped flirting and completely changed into his detective mode, "Before going to London I had installed some CCTV's in this house"he pointed to the haunted house, "When Leo informed me about Felix's death I checked on the CCTV and guess what I found out?" Nolan tried creating a suspensive atmosphere.
"The CCTV footage" Jennifer signaled him to give her the footages and did not continue asking him further. Thus he reluctantly had to give her his laptop, which he took out from his favourite possession- his black Audi.
The three of them went in a room which was on the third floor of the house. Jennifer took a deep breathe and then opened the laptop.
"Are you sure you want to see it with your own eyes. It will be better if I will tell you what had happened." Nolan was concerned as Jennifer would not be able to take the huge blow after going through the footage.
"No need" Jennifer rejected him straightforwardly.
She opened the laptop, there were several small screens displaying different scenes of the whole house.
In a corner of a room sat a thin looking man, his face looked pale and he was fondling with a pen. Then suddenly the door broke and the many men entered the room. Felix fought and killed them.
A man stood few meters away watching the scene in front of him calmly. Once all the men died, he took Felix to the second floor.
Jennifer was observing the body language and very small movements of that man.
She was thoroughly surprised when the man suddenly hugged Felix and he did not budge him away.
Why?
What is their relation?
Everyone in the room was damn confused while watching the scene unfolding on a small screen in the laptop. The man then suddenly.....

After watching for more than half an hour Jennifer was dazed , she could not come to a conclusion but clearly had some speculations. The room was silent.Everyone was staring at the screen in puzzlement.
Just then someone's phone buzzed.
"Jenny your speculations were correct the both of them clearly have a relation." Leo's voice sounded from the phone.
"Come in the laboratory I will tell you more about it."
Jennifer hung up the phone, "Let's go."
