Chapter 45: Chapter 45: Spiritual Core
Xiu Ye stared in shock.
The sun in the sky, the one and only big star the lit the world of unlimited blades, had eight different colored rings surrounding it.
Blue, green, yellow, silver, purple, white, black and grey colored rings circled around the sun like it was the planet Jupiter.
Seeing the sun being circled around with the eight colored rings made it seem like it was being suppressed by them or sealed it within; like it was about to go supernova and the rings was the only things capable of stopping it from doing so.
It was both a beautiful and terrifying sight.
Xiu Ye nervously gulped, his grip on Mjolnir loosened and as it left his hand, it stopped in midair and floated by his side. "O-Oi, old man. What the heck's going on? Can you please explain to me what those colorful rings are doing to my spiritual core?"
"I don't know, I'm not omniscient, you're the one who should tell me what's going on. This is your inner world after all, you're supposed to know about everything that goes around in your inner world." Ryūjin Jakka shrugged and said.
Xiu Ye blinked his eyes and facepalmed. For a supposed genius amongst the young generation of soul masters, he's really slow on some things.
He closes his eyes and focused, waves of spiritual power started fluctuate around his body.
In Xiu Ye's spiritual eyes, he could see everything within his inner world. From the skies to his world's limits of area, then down to its very make of it: his very own soul.
This world is him, and he is the world. If it dies, he dies. That was why he was so panicked that something had unknowingly entered his inner world earlier. If this world had somehow been invaded by a outside force, enough to bring permanent damage and even destroy it? Then he also gets affected by it.
Xiu Ye's spiritual senses went to his spiritual core and analyze the entire situation it was under. A cyan-blue digital scan covered the entire sun and the seven rings in an instant.
Information flowed into Xiu Ye's brain and was processed within a millisecond. Its entire structure, components, and other information were entirely processed into his brain.
This was something that all soul masters with soul cores have the ability to do, but they didn't have the power to process the information of their soul core within a second and less.
Xiu Ye's eyes snapped open, shock in his eyes as so his facial expression. He had found out what was going on with his spiritual core and what was those eight colored rings!
"So, did you find out what those are?" Ryūjin Jakka asked as he noticed the expression Xiu Ye currently had. The latter had great control over his emotions and to see him so flustered, those rings might really are impressive.
Xiu Ye nodded and tilted his head up. "Yeah, those are all elemental attributes. Specifically the colors represent the following elements, green; wind, blue; water, yellow; earth, silver; space, white; light, black; darkness, purple; lightning, and grey is metal. All of these elements can be added together with my flames and raise its capabilities according to the elements I add, even without my flames, I can use with a certain limit!"
"This doesn't just end there, these elements has also been slowly absorbed into my body and soul power while I'm in here, making me gained affinity with the elements. Not only does that make my body physically stronger and soul power more powerful than normal soul power, but it also increases my cultivation speed! Which, just now, my cultivation had skyrocketed to the 24th rank."
"I absorbed almost all the elements around me and convert any element to pure and refined soul power. For now, I no longer have a problem in searching a suitable cultivation space to increase my soul power. I just need to refine it to highest quality and compressed it, so I can store more soul power. What's more, I finally have full control of my spiritual core!"
Xiu Ye let out long breath out, his face blank and mouth open. "Well shit, I'm officially unbeatable amongst my peers and even some higher level soul masters. With my current spiritual power and elemental attributes that can boost my normal attacks: whether it be hand-to-hand combat or spiritual assault, I'm powerful."
"Also, I'm now certain, my spiritual power is at the Spiritual Domain Realm. Not just because of my spiritual core but because I had attained one of the most rare abilities a soul master could have in the entire world: a domain."
If Ryūjin Jakka had a face at all, he would have raised his eyebrows in surprise.
A domain type ability is rare in this world, not to point of true dragons and phoenixes rare, but rare enough that mostly those at the Title Douluo rank has one.
"Well that's awesome. Let me guess, your domain's abilities has something to do with the eight elements?"
Xiu Ye smiled. "Yes and no. My domain does centers with the elements of wind, water, earth, space, lightning, light, darkness, metal and the law of the sun."
"Oh, so you're saying that you had reached an enlightenment and comprehended the law of the sun? To which, if I recall, only Title Douluos can do and Limit Douluos are the only ones capable of using such power." Ryūjin Jakka said, impressed with the sudden development of Xiu Ye's power.
Xiu Ye merely grinned in reply. Truthfully, if he didn't have Genryūsai Yamamoto's memories of using Ryūjin Jakka for more than a thousand years, as well as having the latter as his martial soul, he wouldn't even had understood the basics of the fire element.
He was able to understood the law of the sun with the help of those memories, Ryūjin Jakka, and his own understanding of it for the past three years of studious cultivation. However, he can't use the law of the sun so easily if he doesn't have the cultivation base of a Limit Douluo or have the spiritual power of the Spiritual Domain rank.
But with now full control of his spiritual core, he can finally unleash the true power of the sun, along with other elements added, into the real world. Though for only a few seconds before he exhausts his spiritual power.
"I think it deserves a name, wouldn't you agree?" Ryūjin Jakka said.
"Yeah, I'm thinking it'll be the same as my spiritual core. Eight Elemental True Sun Core and Eight Elemental True Sun Domain, for my spiritual core and domain respectively." Xiu Ye said, he felt a small disturbance around him and he knew what it was. His inner world was changing once more, and hopefully it was for the better.
"Okay I'm going to go and make myself some lunch, see you later old man." Xiu Ye said his goodbye with a wave of his hand and disappeared into mots of blue light.
Xiu Ye opened his eyes to see the roof of the workshop. Stretching his muscles, he stood up from the floor and walked towards the door leading down. But then he stopped in place, he noticed something glowing under his shirt.
He peeked inside his shirt to see what was glowing and saw it was the cross/sword necklace of Na'er.
Taking it out of his shirt, Xiu Ye narrowed his eyes as the seven colored gem in the middle of the accessory was giving off fluctuations of elemental energies.
'Is this...?' Xiu Ye had a suspicion on what was going on. That sudden change of his spiritual core must have had a reason of why it had happened, and around his neck was the most likely suspect.
Familiar cyan-blue circuit lines appeared on his hand and spread across the necklace and its attachment.
Xiu Ye's eyes widened with shock of the information he found. As the cyan-blue lines disappeared, a bitter smile appeared on his lips as he clenched the pendant in his hand.
"Even if this is an awesome item, it still wouldn't be able to replace you in my heart."

Silver Dragon King's Sword Pendant: An item made by the scale of the Silver Dragon King, and in which contains her elemental blessing. It would cause the wearer to gain seven elemental affinities and change of constitution. The wearer would also be protected by any living soul beasts that can recognize the pendant's aura, and to some extent also command them to do anything within a certain limit. It also has a teleportation spell in it that would active instantly if the wearer's life is in the verge of death to a certain place.

Time passed and the sun was already setting down.
Xiu Ye let out a satisfied sigh as he rubbed his wet hair with a white towel. He was entirely naked, showing his toned muscular body, excel for a white towel wrapped around his waist and down to his knees.
He had taken a shower in the workshop because he had done a few metal forging after he had lunch, and he was slightly sweaty from the ordeal.
He was forging as a way to pass the day, because he had nothing else to do but wait for when grandmaster Cen Yue to call him and Wulin in for their blacksmith badges.
*Ringing~ Someone's calling fool!*
Xiu Ye raised an eyebrow, hearing his soul communicator's ringtone going off. He would have chosen song for a ringtone but this one is way more funnier.
"Hello? Wulin? Oh hey, what's up? Did grandmaster Cen Yue call you for us to go to the blacksmith association yet? No? Okay so what are you–Huh? What the hell do you mean you need help in carrying a body?!"
