Chapter 3: Chapter 1: The Royal Knights
A new warp gate suddenly formed itself and from it came Omegamon, Seraphimon and Ophanimon.
They arrived in the middle of a hall, there was an elegant red carpet on the floor. There wasn't much lighting and it only came from the candles nailed on the wall.
But rather than the dark room their eyes were focused on a mysterious silhouette. Clad on a black colored armour with golden lines at the edges, its size and might didn't lose to Omegamon at all. Just like a natural-born leader, its mere presence was enough to make one feel respectful and safe.
The said digimon was sitting in a chair that looked more like a throne. Seraphimon solemnly said...
"Alphamon..."
Both Ophanimon and Seraphimon bowed their heads a bit in order to show their respect. While differently from the angelic duo Omegamon just stood there with its arms crossed, the white armoured being's gaze didn't wave in the slightest.
Alphamon nodded its head towards the duo although its gaze was more focused on Omegamon. The leader of the Royal Knights said without much emotion in its voice.
"The results?"
"Done." Indifferently replied Omegamon...
"Omegamon! Show more respect to your leader!"
Everyone focused their gazes on the newcomer. It was a blue humanoid being wearing Golden armour with even its face completely covered by Gold only revealing its red eyes.
The Golden digimon irradiated loyalty and pride that quickly caught the attention of Seraphimon and Ophanimon, albeit Omegamon and Alphamon remained indifferent.
Magnamon approached Alphamon and stood right next to it just like a loyal subordinate. The Golden Royal Knight decided to ask the angelic duo since it doubts that Omegamon would bother to give a complete report.
"Seraphimon and Ophanimon. Could you tell us how the mission went?"
"The fakes were already disposed of. But unfortunately we couldn't retrieve the device, it is already a lost cause." Ophanimon replied, her voice downcast.
"I see... It was an honour to work beside the Divine Protectors... Right Omegamon?" Magnamon looked towards Omegamon with a gaze that was basically saying 'At least show some courtesy!'. Unfortunately, Omegamon didn't bother to care thus making Magnamon sigh.
"No no, the ones who should feel honoured are ourselves for helping the Royal Knights." Seraphimon hurriedly retorted.
"Very well... I look forward to our future corporations. Seraphimon... Ophanimon." Alphamon could see that Magnamon wanted to bring important topics so it decided to bid its farewells towards the angelic duo.
Seraphimon quickly caught the hint thus it replied...
"We feel the same Alphamon-sama, now... If you excuse us."
Seraphimon nodded towards Ophanimon, The female angel digimon materialized a key shaped device and opened a golden portal. Both digimons bowed towards Alphamon and entered the gate, vanishing from the onlooker's gazes while after their exit the portal shrinked itself until it finally disappeared.
Alphamon locked its gaze on Magnamon. Silence took over the atmosphere when Alphamon decided to break the ice.
"I'm waiting..."
"A-Ah yes! Alphamon-sama"
Magnamon Lost its composure a bit from the surprise and shame while Omegamon's gaze was filled with mockery. Magnamon quickly recovered and cleared its throat.
"Well... Alphamon-sama, do we really need to work together with those Nega Digimons? You saw their behaviour and actions. I think it's unacceptable to let these corrupted defects into our plans..."
"I can understand your concerns, Magnamon, but we may need all help possible. I'm afraid that our strength alone won't be sufficient..."
"But-"
"Enough!" Alphamon said with its almighty voice leaving no room for arguments. Magnamon clenched its hands but quickly calmed itself, despite hating to fight besides the corrupted defects, the Golden Armored digimon still had to comply. For Yggdrasil...
"... Yes Alphamon-sama."
"... Now how were the results for the Digi-Destined? Have they already been summoned safely into the digi-world?"
"Yes Alphamon-sama. Now they are currently getting used to the new environment. Soon they will meet their digimon partners."
"Good. They will prove to be valuable assets for our cause..."
Magnamon wanted to talk about a certain topic but was hesitant to talk about it with Omegamon on the watch. The loyal knight was in doubt when suddenly Omegamon excused itself.
"For now I will take my leave..." Omegamon was already walking towards the exit.
"Wait a bit Omegamon!" No way that Magnamon would let Omegamon walk away like nothing matters with their leader being right there.
Omegamon suddenly stopped and turned towards Alphamon.
"Now if you'll excuse me. Alphamon-'Sama' this lowly one will take its leave."
Omegamon bowed just a bit while saying the word 'sama' with pure sarcasm.
'I got ignored...' Magnamon thought furiously. Alphamon felt that their interactions were really funny, and for Omegamon disrespectful acts? The leader of the Royal Knights didn't take to the heart since Omegamon was just like that. and despite being lower than it in command, the white armored being was actually the vice-leader so it had the qualifications to behave like that.
Magnamon sighed a bit. They didn't change at all...
"Go on Magnamon..."
Magnamon quickly changed to serious mode and said solemnly.
"So... It's like this..."

Omegamon kept walking through the hallways until it finally reached the central plaza. And right at the center of the plaza there was a huge statue of ImperialDramon Paladin-Mode, the founder of the Royal Knights...
It gave Omegamon a feeling of both angelical protection and tyrannical might. The statue's wings looked like they could shield anyone from harm while its sacred sword was impaled into the ground. ImperialDramon Paladin-Mode's statue was holding the hilt of the sword with both of its hands while its head was a bit lifted giving the statue the bearings of a king. It was no tyrannical hegemon nor a gentle saint, it was the embodiment of both opposite forces that made this digimon so all mighty.
Omegamon looked at this statue without much change in its expression, albeit deep within its gaze there was endless respect and pride.
"Hoh... You really do like this statue Omegamon..." A powerful voice interrupted Omegamon's thoughts.
The white armored being looked back towards the direction of that voice. A tall knight like Digimon approached Omegamon with strong but steady steps, slowly revealing its gallant appearance.
A white armour covered its entire body with some red details and a mysterious black symbol was marked in its chest. There was something akin to a red dragon on top of its helmet and a gallant red cape that fluttered elegantly in the wind came from its back. And holding in its right hand there was a lance that seemed to be able to pierce anything and in its left hand there was a circular shield with mysterious symbols all around it.
"Dukemon..." Omegamon said...
It came from the shadows revealing its gallant form. Dukemon! One of the Royal Knights! Omegamon simply turned its head and looked back at the ImperialDramon statue.
"So. Did something interesting happen?" Dukemon's voice was filled with justice and righteousness, albeit with a bit of curiosity.
"Maybe... Maybe not..." Omegamon nonlachantly replied, its head still focused on the ImperialDramon's statue.
"C'mon Omegamon I know you. Did one of the Digi-Destined caught your attention??"
Omegamon silently lowered its head a bit. Sudden thoughts about that mysterious human boy surged in its mind...
"Who knows..." Omegamon lifted its head back and looked at the statue again absentmindedly. That boy gave it a different feel from other humans that it had met. It was like... He didn't belong here...
"Ah! Now I'm curious!! Omegamon, won't you share with me your amusement?"
Dukemon really wanted to know what made Omegamon like this. Since it managed to make the stoic and indifferent vice leader behave like that it surely means it's bound to be something extraordinary!

MikXL_23 Honestly I feel that this chapter sucks. But don't worry, I promise that The next one gonna be really good...

Although I like digimon My knowledge about it is really low. I only learned how the evolution stages Works by now!
