Taking a breather for a moment, Alduin slump himself on his butt as he gazed at the huge crater that he just created because of his attack while being poured in the rain
The crater has a radius of about 50km equally around it, that is quite more than a half of the quarter of the whole capital of the kingdom itself
He actually didn't expect to use such weapon against an opponent that is only numbered as one, in fact he was intending to use it on places where there are crowded with his enemies
With this trump card he was sure that even he himself can turn the war to his advantage, unfortunately a peculiar person actually appeared in which he was forced to use it against
"Hah! I'm sure no one can survive an attack equivalent to an attack by the very own power of the sun" bemused Alduin as he supported himself with a boulder beside him
"I got to say... . .he's a one tough cookie"
As he said this he again started gazing at the destruction he had created, when suddenly right at the middle of the crater a silhoutte can be seen struggling to move
"No way! It can't be!!! He survived? What is he? A monster?" Complained Alduin

As much as kaido could deny it, he actually survived from that incomprehensible attack from above, luckily he managed to concentrate forming a barrier at one focal point to maintain it at high potency defense
If he didn't do that he wouldn't have survived until now
As he started to crawl back up, he suddenly got a silhoutte of the hero at the far age of the sunken crater
"That damnable hero, he actually have this kind of tricks up his sleeves" he said as he gritted his teeth
Apparently when he concentrated on his defense, he actually forego any actions he have previously made such as regenerating the opened wound on his stomach
Due to that decision, he actually lost a lot of blood from that defense thus making his skin a bit pale white and complexion of someone who was tired
This time however he continued his regeneration of his wound to completely stop the flowing of blood out of his body
Staggering as he stood up, he glared at the hero before arching a smile on his face
"Hahahaha! You totally got me, I didn't expect you to have that trump card... . . I admit you are cautious... . ." He shouted
"And I admit that your tenacious" shouted Alduin
"Unfortunately... . ." Said Kaido as he braised his hair upwards with his fingers so that his vision wouldn't be obstructed
"Unfortunately... . ." Said Alduin as he conjured a war hammer on his hand
"You touch something that belongs to me"
"That your existences irritates me"
As they said their piece both of them started to make their move, as Alduin dashed straight towards Kaido in an attempt to smash him with his war hammer
Very quickly kaido pushed out a small rock from the ground and kicked it towards Alduin in a high speed acceleration, while following it by manipulating the ground beneath him to shot out like a torpedo towards the hero
After smashing the first rock, Alduin effectively maneuvered his war hammer as he fluently dodged the attacking rocks while blocking the uprising earth below him
As he continued on this pattern he suddenly clicked something on the handle of his war hammer as it begun to intake air around it
With a bang he suddenly casted another projectile attack towards kaido as it destroyed every earthen walls that tried to obstruct its path
"Air Drum!!!"
Seeing this Kaido produced a whirling high frequency air around him to completely block off the attack, unfortunately this was taken for advantage by Alduin as he uses this opening to madly dash forward and arrived before Kaido
"Take this! Rock Smasher!!!"
Enveloping his arms with psychic barrier, Kaido quickly crossed his arms above his head to take on the full brunt of the attack
This in turn causes another shockwave as its impact buried the espers feet under the ground by a few inches
Taking the momentum Alduin twisted his body to swi g his war hammer in a parrabelum arcand struck Kaido's sides, completly ricocheting him off the ground
While he was sent flying, Alduin made a quick shake on his war hammer causing it to open a few holes on its head
"Stinging missiles"
As he swung his war hammer numerous tiny bits of missiles shot out from its head and rocketed themselves directly at Kaido
Seeing this he forcefully stopped his tracks, by inputting a psychic energy on his palm as he struck the ground to serve as an anchor, following that he finally decided to control the rainfall around him to a halt before turning them into his personal water bullet barrage
With a movement of his arm, he directed all of the rain drop to seized the incoming missiles and barraged the hero
Due to this of contact from the rain drops agaisnt the missiles, numerous explosions sounded in midair as if it was being continuously bombed by an modern military army
Due to its numbers the rain drops suddenly turned as sharp as the needles as it barrages the hero
Agaisnt such numbers Alduin once again sets up multiple hexagonal barrier around him to protect himself
Even though he managed to survive from that, he was still injured by this water needles that were able to pass his barrier using speed
When he expected that this will continue on for a long time, he was quite surprised when he noticed that the attack has suddenly stopped as all water in the area started merging with the huge water javelin above Kaido
With a step Kaido threw the water javelin straight towards the hero in full force as if venting out his anger
With the force of the attack including its size and momentum Alduin was suddenly blasted away by its force before crashing against numerous walls behind him
From that Kaido knelt down on one knee as he breathes heavily from exhaustion
"I just hope this isn't some kind of the same genre as the ones I've red before" he thought to himself
To his dismay however the battle was just getting started as Alduin walked out from the walls that he impacted into
This time he was wearing fully techanized armor with arcs of wings protruding out his back that serves as both for mobility and defences, his armament was so exaggerating that if not for his current predicament kaido wouldve have thought that the opponent was a hard core weabu
"Nice isn't it" said Alduin spoke up from afar
But due to its amplifier his voice can be ueard even if he speaks softly or silently
Upon hearing this Kaido couldnt help but curse under his breath as this always happens in the stories he have met
There's only one trait that all heroes has that made them hard to kill, plot armor
"Hah! I knew this wouldn't be that easy"
This time Alduin took the chance to talk to him
"I believe that you are kaido! For a second thought, I also believe that we have met back at the encampment" he said

"But she's crazily in love with you to the point that she doesn't look to anyone else rather than you... . . I can prove that cause I hear her words when she was asleep" shrugged Alduin
This time however a group of women finally arrived at the scene and apparently just in time to catch the swift conversation of both the hero and kaido
Upon hearing her desire being said out loud by anyone other than her, Ingrid forcefully stopped herself from going out there and murder the hero for revealing that side of her
But the nonchalant reply from Kaido greatly surprised her that as some point even motivated her
"Oh really? Well I would like to hear that from her" he said as he cracked his bones
"So what do you say?" Asked Alduin
"Are you willing to hand her over or not?"
Hearing this kaido straightened his posture as he finished regenerating his wound and stepped on the ground as he pressed it hard against it
"What I say?... . . I say you talk too much for a dead person" replied Kaido as he pointed his fingers upwards
Following his direction, alduin was surprused to see numerous water Javelin was actually constructed above him as they were talking
"Hahaha! Cunning as a fox"
At the same time he said that he also shot out a barrage of laser from below Kaido using guided tracers to guide its trajectory while underground
"Unfortunately your not the only one buying for time"
From that two barrage of explosions resounded from afar that caused two catastrophic shockwaves that knocked off anyone unguarded from it
From afar Melfina immediately instructed everyone
"Quick! We need to set up a parameter to hold back the incoming troops"
"Alright!" They said in unison
As they said that both Selery and Zia started to find a safeground for Sui while also protecting her from any ambush
"Mama!" Cried Sui
"Dont worry! Everything will be fine" assured Selery

Upon hearing that Selery hesitated to answer for a moment as she remembered how disheartened her daughter was when her father went missing, but this time he found a second father that she could rely on
With that in thought she bit her lips as she replied

Troops started flooding in from all direction as the battle near the deadly battlefield started the battle of attrition
As for Xyrus himself, he could clearly felt from the mana flow that the hero has finally started to get serious, so in order to assure their victory he decide that he would do any means to get to him
So when he saw the blockade of the enemy, he was so furious to the extent that he engaged at the Frontline and fired off triple magic circle
Unfortunately the enemy also has a high caliber mage as it actually casted quadruple layered magic
Upon explosion ingrid unexpectedly used this cover to shorten the distances between herself and Xyrus, thus beginning another battle at the rear
Back at the crater, two overpowering people started to get serious as the hero stepped his game up a bit and started his own barrage of attacks to contend the psychic controlled mold of earth that was falling from above
Taking this as per chance kaido teleported near his side and draw a huge sucker punch, completely flinging him off his feet
As Alduin stumbles and rolled agaisnt the floor, the earth below him actually took a hold of him as if it has a life of its own
With a thought kaido once again created a gigantic earthen golem that is equivalent to a size of a five floored building
Raising its gigantic earthen battle axe, the golem struck down hard its weapon aiming to take the hero's life
As the hige axe was getting closer, a dark silhoutte suddenly intercepted in between as it pushed the golem back with brute force and cuts it in half
When this happened even Kaido was at loss for words as he saw a tall dark-skinned, well tonned body and figure of the Ghoul Queen
In fact even Alduin himself was surprised that Hepta the Ghoul Queen has actually saved him
"What's up hero! Looks like your in a predicament" she said as she grinned and winked at him while emitting a deadly aura around her
