Chapter 399: Chapter 399: Destruction of G.E.N.O.S X

Seeing Kaido taking steps towards Aaron while wielding an lightning spon one hand, Haruka then immediately thought of a way to atleast distract the former's attention even if for a little bit
Since she had regained most of her memories from her last then she couldn't get herself to inflict another mental breakdown towards Kaido, but if it can direct his attention towards herself then she doesn't have much choice but to do it
Steeling her resolve she then applied another mental breakdown directly towards Kaido's mind
Naturally such an invisible attack successfully struck down Kaido, causing the said person himself to suddenly scream in pain once more as he gritted his teeth and kneeled on one knee to the ground
When that happened upon Kaido, Aaron on the other hand was completely stunned and taken aback by that timely save that Haruka did
Due to that Aaron then gained a slight time to regain his composure and free himself from his restraints
On the other hand Kaido didn't take that lightly as such as soon as he got ahold of himself, he then immediately glared towards Haruka's direction with bloodshot eyes as he muttered some words under his breath
"I left you for only a slight moment and your already proving to be a nuisance... oh I'm really gonna kill you"
With his full attention directed elsewhere Kaido then put a step on it as he dashed towards Haruka's direction in a frenzied mode
Of course Aaron saw this coming as he shouted back towards Haruka's direction out of impulse
"Watch out!"
In just a few steps Kaido arrived before Haruka as he struck out a fist towards her, but in that slight moment instead of hatred, contempt, blackness, and hostility imprinted om her face, Kaido suddenly saw a gentle smile on Haruka's expression as if she meant no harm towards him
Due to that he was then slightly confused by such an action that made him somehow lose his momentum
Despite that since Kaido threw out a punch already, he naturally struck down Haruka who had leap back at a perfect time to dodge Kaido's assault
Unfortunately despite dodging his direct attack, she was struck by the force of his strike, thus causing her to fall on her butt
But instead of receiving a follow up attack from Kaido, she on the other hand received no such thing, due to that she looked up towards him straight into his eye and somehow saw his confusion
Naturally what comes next was Kaido's confused question
"Why... why are you looking at me like that? Dont you feel any hatred from me? I'm here to kill you! Dont you know what that means?"
Hearing that Haruka slowly stood up as she answered
"Because I remembered everything, I remember you, remember Aaron, remember my past even by a slightest bit, and remember my feelings... how could I bore any hatred from you? You were the last person i had beside me when I died... "
With that kind of answer, even more confusion sprung out in his head as Calamity was only able to return to him his fragment of memories but not as a whole
Naturally he also realized such an aspect as he felt that some of his memories had some holes in it, thus he had been thinking about such a thing lately this days
But no matter what what lost was lost and Kaido had no obligation to remember
Unfortunately he somehow didn't remember the part where he stayed beside Haruka till her last breath, when she was struck down in the past
But for some reason the description that Haruka said just now, have slightly patched up that hole in his memories even for a little bit
"I... was there with you? You must be lying! I saw you dead right before me, yet I don't have that memory of being with you till your last moments"
With that Haruka replied
"It's because your memory is incomplete, I've remembered mine so maybe just maybe... I could return some of yours"
After saying that Haruka slowly reached out her arms towards Kaido as if asking him to trust her, which then further confused the latter
On the other hand as for Aaron who didn't hear their conversation and somehow didn't get the whole picture, the only thing he saw was Kaido strucking down Haruka, causing her to fall and was now raising her hand towards Kaido in mercy
Of course he misinterpreted such action as he felt that Haruka was in danger, with that coupled with his memories of the past Haruka whom he liked, he then gritted his teeth as he forced his way out of his restraints
"I would never let you die again!"
Bearing hatred towards Kaido in another degree and his falsehood of such misinterpretation, he then blasted off of his restraints as he dashed towards Kaido with a beam of light pushing him off from his location like a rocket booster
"Kaido!!!"
In one strike he then tackled Kaido down as he dragged him across the ground, before spinning out his whole body and throwing the former towards the sea
With that Kaido was then thrown towards the sea as a huge water explosion rung out from the impact of the crash
Afterwards he conjured a light space just beneath his feet to serve as his foothold and make him step u to the air without touching the water
Of course since he knew that Kaido could likely control matter, then naturally Kaido could also use the sea to go against himself, thus he wouldn't want to just fall into his disadvantage causing him to take the chance and walk in the air
As for Kaido after he crashed he immediately swam up towards the surface of the sea and solidified some of its particle to serve as his footing
Upon solidifying some of the sea he then stood upon it and glanced towards Aaron's direction
With that of course Aaron spat out some words towards him causing him to be all tensed up
"I won't let you kill Haruka... not in this lifetime, I've already saw her dead once and I won't allow to see it again"
Hearing that Kaido couldn't help but curse out on just how stupid Aaron could get
"You don't get it do you? How many times I have to tell you that the organization your working for is the reason why she died?"
At that Aaron Replied
"Even thought she died in one of the organization's bases, since your the only one who survived that massacre, isn't it quite natural that you may have killed her? There's no one else who survived that ordeal but you, instead it natural that you may have killed her and covered up your reasoning?"
"So you will really insist that i killed her?" Asked Kaido
"Now and forever... if i have to kill you just to make sure she doesn't die again, then ill just have to do just that"
Hearing that kind of an answer, Kaido couldn't help but burn in rage as veins started appearing out on his body which indicated that he was stressed lut by the situation
"I'll kill you!"
In one strike Kaido slammed his hand unto the sea surface as he formed up a one huge tsunami wall to approach and assault Aaron
In reply to that kind of attack Aaron of the other hand raises both of his had as he gathered light energy from his surroundings towards himself and blasted a beam towards the tsunami wall
In an instant a huge hole appeared in that tsunami wall as it blasted all the water away from the force of his blast
Amidst that commotion Kaido simply crouched down to dodge Aaron's beam and ran up towards the latter under all that distraction going on around them
In a few seconds he then arrived before Aaron as he gathered a violent wind unto his left hand and hammered a huge violent tornado down on the latter
With that Aaron quickly conjured a light shield to protect himself from that violent attack which swept away all the water causing violent waves to rise
In fact due to their fight even the sky started to turn gloomy despite being in the middle of the night
Seeing the conjured light barrier Infront of him, Kaido then stretches out his hand and he punched the light barrier while having a conducted electricity on his right arm
In one punch both Kaido and Aaron was then blasted away on the opposite sides as they stumbled down unto the water surface, causing even more waves to erupt
Coincidentally upon crashing, both of them quickly got up unto their feet as they formed their foothold simultaneously and attacked once more
This time however Kaido conjured 6 electrified sphere around himself and directed all of them towards Aaron
In counter to that Aaron then conjured up a sword of light by his hand as he begun dodging Kaido's electrified spheres while slicing down some of them
After dealing with the 6 orbs he then commanded a huge ray of light to strike down from above as he blasted it down towards Kaido location
Once more Kaido was caught off guard as he got blasted down by the beam from above which pushed him directly towards the seabed
Luckily he was able to activate his psychic barrier in time, due to that the damage that was inflicted to him was minimal compared to before, but despite that the pain from being blasted down by a beam from above was no joke, causing Kaido to feel pain all over his own body
While that was happening down below the water surface, Aaron on the other hand who was left behind in the water surface kept looking around and continously raising his alertness to his maximum degree the moment when Kaido disappeared
After all he never knew when or where Kaido might appear, thus he needs to stay vigilant at all times or else he might get caught off guard if he even relaxed for a little bit
After a few seconds of silence however two water twisters then popped out from the water surface as they struck Aaron off of his footing
Following that curving out in an arch the two water twisters then slammed down Aaron straight into the water, causing the said person to be drawn inside Kaido's territory
Upon entering Aaron then squinted his eye upon impact before opening them up only to see Kaido arching his back into a punch as he gathered heat unto his right hand
Unknown to him Kaido had been anticipating his crash unto the water and never did once falter or hesitate whether it would succeed, due to that he had successfully caught Aaron off guard and had successfully dragged him down to his advantage
At this moment the heat on Kaido's right hand had been accumulating for quite awhile now, causing boiling bubbles to erupt upon activation, with that when he arched up his back to deliver a strike, the heat on his fist had then accumulated at the amount of 500° intensity
In one punch Kaido literally blew everything away causing a huge hole to appear unto the sea surface and blasting Aaron straight down towards the seabed
Due to the heat he accumulated whiched reached about 500°, Kaido then burst the whole sea surface into it's boiling point when he punched Aaron on the face
When Aaron crashed unto the seabed, a slight tremor then spreadsout into the surroundings as cracks formed underneath all around the ocean floor
In that instant pain soared all over his body as he couldn't even utter a single word from his mouth
However despite him arching in pain on the seabed below, Kaido was still unrelentless as he quickly conjured a black lightning spear unto his hand and threw them straight towards Aaron like a javelin
Once more a huge explosion then rung out from the surroundings as the whole world tremored due to his attack
