Chapter 402: Chapter 402/46: After Three Months
[Capital City Seoul, South Korea]
Located somewhere in Seoul, wherein an abandoned and isolated warehouse is currently located, five foreign people were actually waiting inside a certain room inside the warehouse and all expecting a sixth person to arrive soon to start the discussion between the people inside it
Contrary to its descripted name as an isolated abandoned warehouse, such a warehouse is secretly being used by a certain mercenary organization, which mostly deals with overseas conflict between countries
Complete with numerous advanced technologies unknown to the public, over 640 organization staff around the world, and about 1,540 elite mercenaries all Espers under their command, such an organization was only known to every government all over the world and any business or companies affiliated to such people in politics
Such a huge reputational mercenary organization was named A.L.P.H.A due to numerous reasons and one of the reason is because they are mostly regarded as the governments alpha dogs, which handles dirty jobs which included assassination, rescue, raid or infiltration in numerous terms
They have many achievements under their organization which built up their reputation such as successfully eliminating a terrorist group, protecting a VIP from the shadows, Killing the mastermind of any mass murder cases, and etc.
As for the issue regarding their mercenary, this were naturally provided by the G.E.N.O.S organization, with their relationship which is as close as partnership in the society, the G.E.N.O.S naturally backed the A.L.P.H.A mercenary organization in order to fully utilizer their benefits in their partnerships
One example of such benefits is that the G.E.N.O.S organization itself requested numerous times towards the mercenary organization to abduct, kidnap, and deliver any non-affiliated Espers towards them, in actual fact even Kaido himself was once caught by such an organization and was directly delivered towards one of the G.E.N.O.S bases, thus conducting the current storyline
This time however the five people that have gathered inside a certain room are the best of best in the organization, thus in other words the top dogs of their group, ordered by their own official in the organization, they were then gathered at an immediate notice after receiving a certain rank EX mission from their client
As the five people kept their silence, the person who called them then have finally arrived after a few minutes, seemingly such a person is one with a higher standing than them

Seemingly everyone weren't native in South Korea and were foreign instead due to their names, but without further ado of such a minor issue, the leader of the A-team then spoke up towards Cahill their executive
"Let us skip the formalities, we all know that you called us here due to some high difficulty mission, so Cahill please enlighten us"
Hearing Janus words, Cahill applauded towards his remark as he replied while putting down a folder right in front of the five people
"Simply put the reason why everyone was called to South Korea from the comfort of your home is because the target this time is currently residing in Seoul, the heart and capital of South Korea itself"
"Following that by opening up the folder that I placed before you, you will then recognize that our target would be a person with a highly dangerous Esper ability, due to that fact I then assigned such a dangerous job towards our most efficient and skilled team which is you guys" added Cahill
Under their executive's guide, everyone then checked out the folder and saw their target which was quite a young arrogant looking boy, but despite that everyone naturally recognized such person as the Esper that was currently being hunted down by the G.E.N.O.S organization, with more than a five hundred billion on his head
"This is the guy that is currently being hunted down with an astronomical price on his head am I right?" asked Janus
"Indeed" replied by Cahill
"Such a young boy" commented Madrigal
"I bet that he is somewhere around a 20 years of age" said Tomas
"Such a young guy is already wanted by the G.E.N.O.S organization with an order to kill or capture, just what did he do to deserve such treatment?" asked Ekaterina
Hearing everyone's opinion aside from Lucian who stayed silent, Cahill then calmly replied towards their words
"In actuality despite being young, the target this time had created or done numerous stuff which completely ruined our partnered organization's reputation around the world, such acts were destroying their bases all over Japan, killing their staffs, killing multiple of their espers, and finally kicking out the organization of their hold unto Japan, thus leaving such country unsupervised"
With that everyone then turned silent as they finally understood why the G.E.N.O.S organization had issued a wanted notification on their targets head, but a moment later Tomas then let out a long whistle as he reacted towards that information
"Talk about grudges"
But as if that wasn't enough Cahill then immediately added more additional information
"The target this time is named Kaido, 20 years of age and is a pure blooded Japanese, he is also the one who overthrew the organization in Japan and the primary cause of the sudden rise of terrorist activity all around the world, presumably those terrorist's idolized him for completely destroying the G.E.N.O.S organization in Japan"
"He also has a highly dangerous Esper ability in which he can manipulate the matter at his own will, it was also theorized that he can create matter that is still mysterious to the current science, thus providing the fact that he is a genius in terms of knowledge, which further increases his danger level the longer he learns and live" added Cahill
"Lastly it was also rumored that if he isn't stopped or killed in time, he would then be so dangerous that he would be considered a reality bending esper, thus putting us in this situation" followed up by Cahill
With that everyone then became silent upon hearing Cahill's information, as everyone then became quite wary of their target for the time being, but nevertheless they still maintained their composed state as if it was only natural for them to fight such a monster
At that the first one to speak up among the group was none other than Tomas who was the muscle of the team
"Looks like the mission that will be entrusted to us might prove to be much more dangerous than we think"
"Indeed! we can't afford to underestimate our target seemingly he is near the epitome of bending reality" said Ekaterina
"Don't joke around kat! we all know that almost everyone on the team has an esper ability rivaling those who can bend reality too, not to mention our leader who never once had failed a mission" joked Madrigal
With that statement everyone then turned their heads towards Janus as they waited his reply and just as expected the person himself did reply back to Madrigal's words
"It doesn't matter if the target is a young boy or a person who can bend reality, it still doesn't change the fact that he is the prey while I'm the predator, I'll hunt him down and finish this mission in success, you can send me the additional data about our target later"
Hearing Janus last remark, Cahill then silently nodded in accordance as he plans on doing such a task from the very beginning, but as if breaking the silence on the room, Tomas then suddenly raised his hand as he asked
"If we're planning to kill him by having few casualties among the citizens, how can we then lure him out in the open? after all we would really be at a disadvantage if we ever encounter him at a crowded place, based on your information that you had given, it would most likely he would create havoc among the populace once he spotted us"
With such concern, Lucian who was staying silent for quite awhile inside the room without uttering a word then suddenly responded towards Tomas
"You wouldn't have to worry about that"
"!!!"
"I said you wouldn't have to worry about such a problem of leading him out into an isolated area to cause a few casualties as much as possible, I've already arranged the plan on luring him out"
Quite confused of his words Tomas then asked
"What do you mean?"
At that Cahill then replied back towards such question to cover up for Lucian
"Simply put Lucian had already found out about the new mission even before everyone was informed, due to that and knowing that such concern would arise, he had already prepared a trap beforehand to lure in the target to our designated area"
With both curiosity towards Lucian's trap and amazement of the fact that he had already prepared for such a situation, everyone then couldn't help but cheer him on as they praised him, on the other hand Janus was much more curious on the trap's content
"SO you guys prepared a trap already? I'm quite curious... just what kind of trap did you prepare to lure in such monster into your grasp?"
Hearing Janus words, Lucian than placed a finger above his lips as he answered
"it's quite easy you see... it's all about whether that monster has ties or not"

On another part of the capital city in a different direction, wherein the incident in the bar and the meeting of the mercenaries had passed by in a few days, Kaido could then be seen rising up from his bed inside an apartment that he rented out of the money from the credit card that he had received from his father before he erased his memory of himself in their minds
Even thought it is cruel to do such a deed to such parents who had raised him, he still nevertheless did such a thing to completely cut all loose ends on his side that would bring his demise, of course Ayame who had loved him so dearly wasn't exempted as he completely cut his ties with her
But despite all that charade, he still entrusted Ayame and his parents safety towards Aileene, Fegris, Argos, and Belial who he deemed as strong enough to protect themselves from any harm's way, after all no matter how you look at it and no matter how Ingrid, Melfina, and Rebecca would improve and grow strong, they were nonetheless still a lot weaker compared to Belial and the Calamity beings
Peeking at his clock which indicated that it was already 11 in the morning, he then rise up from his bed and have gone straight towards the toilet, after that he put on some clothes over his naked upper body, revealing numerous scars before video calling on his phone to check on the matters in Japan
After a few rings, someone then picked up his call as Endou then showed up in his screen while having dark baggy eyes on his face, seemingly haven't slept for a few days

Based on where the screen was showing, it was already apparent that she were outside his hideout and was roaming with the people in the city alongside Endou
"Good morning sleepy head! It seems like your really exhausted from last night" greeted Ingrid
"Exhausted? More like tired out, the life here in Korea is much more of a hassle than the life in Japan, the native thugs here are much more brazen than their Japanese counterpart, they just doesn't know fear at all... its almost hilarious" said Kaido as he goes to his kitchen and brewed a coffee on a cup
"Based on your condition, it seems like your having more fun than being tired out" said Ingrid
"That's just your imagination" retorted Kaido
"Is that the case?" Asked Ingrid while observing Kaido's complexion
"Yes it is the case" answered Kaido
Seeing that Kaido wouldn't even budge a little from his own answer, Ingrid then immediately let go of such matter as she redirected the topic elsewhere
"Well anyway I heard the news that you had totally obliterated the organization in South Korea, doesn't that mean that your role there is over and your supposed to be preparing to head to another country?" Asked Ingrid
Hearing that question, Kaido then slump down on a chair as he took a sip from his cup and replied
"That was supposed to be the case however the situations have changed, there are survivors in the catastrophe that I have made, presumably all of them are people who had ties with the government thus making them totally an eyesore for me, due to that I have to hunt them down no matter what it takes before things gets out of hand, after all we have already seen the consequence when letting someone of higher position escape right?"
"Indeed! With us letting the Head Chief Kojou to escape the country right under our nose, things have indeed escalated even more, especially in your case since you've become a world famous and is being hunted down by people all over the world due to the price on your head" agreed Ingrid
"It is as you say! Having only 500 billion on top of my head is quite generous of them, it seems like the organization really doesn't take me serious at all, by my estimate if I did more damage to them especially their surface reputation, then perhaps they would escalate the price to atleast couple of hundred trillions" said Kaido
"Your crazy!" Commented Ingrid as she smiled
"I've always been that way" replied Kaido
Afterwards a moment of silence had then commenced between the two, until Kaido suddenly spoke up
"By the way why are you guys outside? Where's Aileene? She's supposed to be the one on the phone"
When Kaido asked such question Ingrid then answered him calmly while slowly giving the phone to Aileene herself
"Well we are currently monitoring your mother outside together with Aileene"
Right at that moment Aileene then held the phone infront of her as she said
"No matter how many times I use this device it truly marvels me on how easy it is to accomplish an efficient communication with it, well anyway Aileene's here"

Seeing Aileene on the other side of the phone, Kaido then uttered a certain which made Aileene report the current occurrence

"Well currently we are monitoring your mother who is working on the other side of the block opposite from us, all I can say is that she's doing good on her own, but for some reason she kept having this deep thoughts as if she was forgetting something, seemingly she's trying to remember the memory about you it is as if she felt her day wasn't complete if you aren't in the picture"
Hearing Aileene's report, Kaido couldn't help but feel a slight pain in his chest as he reimagined his own mother trying to piece out her memory of him in her mind, unfortunately that wasn't possible since Kaido had literally wiped out his existence from her memory and files, together with his father and Ayame's situation
Due to that he had literally severed all ties with people who knew him really well in the society
"What about the others? My father? Ayame? Is their condition the same as my mother? Are they trying to remember the memory at which that got erased?" Asked Kaido
"Well yes! Its the same for the both of them, after all both Argos and Fengris are currently monitoring your father while Belial is monitoring Ayame together with Melfina and Rebecca thus you shouldn't worry too much" said Aileene
At that moment Kaido then felt a slight tinge of guilt within him as he only replied
"I see"
After that he then went silent for a moment before he concluded the call before the other party could react, in actuality what was currently happening to his parents and Ayame really did bothered him a lot, but he knows that everything has a price and the price of him being invincible with no weakness at all, was him cutting ties with the people he knew for the majority of his life
Putting that thought aside Kaido then took care of himself as he took a long shower before arranging his clothes and preparing to head out in the open once more, seemingly wanting to continue his hunt
However unexpected to him, a certain person from his past then suddenly appeared at the corner of his apartment building that goes by the name Iranagi, Hiro
Seemingly this person himself was the former friend and classmate of Kaido himself back in his normal highschool days
