Chapter 406: Chapter 406/50: Weird Dungeon

By the spike of noon Lilia then finally arrived at the b section of the city A with her own clothed self and a small backpack, wherein the current location of her assigned dungeon ranking about D+ was currently located, upon arriving at the said site she was then search for any type of player identification by some government guards before being permitted to enter the said site
When she got in she was then immediately called out by Shelly and Allesandro who plans to actually team up with her through this dungeon exploration
"Lilia!" called out Shelly as she raised her lollipop on her hand unto the air and wave at her
Of course when she heard her name being called out, she then proceeded towards their direction as she greeted the both of them
"You guys are quite early!" said Lilia as she slowly settled down her backpack beside Shelly's bag and slowly remove her excess clothing, leaving only her combat suite in tact
"Well I'm quite an early riser for myself" answered Allesandro
"Early is good you know! in fact this place is already a bit crowded when I got here, it looks like there are many new players who got assigned to this dungeon" Said Shelly
Upon hearing her words, Lilia then took a look at her surroundings and found out the situation was exactly as Shelly had stated herself, due to that she couldn't help but give a comment
"But isn't this a D+ rank dungeon? if there are so many new players on such a high level dungeon then doesn't that mean that they will have more casualty at hand? after all based on my three dungeon experience, one can never underestimate any type of dungeon no matter it's rank"
"Indeed! but let me rephrase it, what I meant is newly ranked up players, in other words every person here has an experience of their own when it comes to entering a dungeon" rephrased Shelly
"In fact you can see it up for yourself! look! there are some people grouping up together already in order to ascertain their safety in the dungeon" added Allesandro as he pointed out the other groups in the vicinity
Following his words, Lilia then once more scanned the surroundings as she found a group numbering about a minimum of 5 members to 10 members in one group
Comparing such a huge number of people of one group towards her own small group of 3, Lilia couldn't help but thought about their groups number, unfortunately for her Shelly seemed to notice her own inner thoughts as she called out to her
"If your wondering if our measly number of 3 is enough for this dungeon, then all i can say is that we are more than enough! we got a Gunner, Hunter and Assassin" said Shelly
"Well sure but, aren't we more prone on assuring our kill on first move? we actually don't have that much combat ability than the other group" pointed out Lilia
"Well... we just have to make do on what we got" said Allesandro
With that Lilia was then silenced by their carefree attitude as she suddenly heard the announcement coming from one of the government official regarding the dungeon that they are going to explore, due to that her attention was then immediately shifted elsewhere as she looked out towards that said government official
"Good Morning everyone! I presume that every person here has some experience regarding to entering a dungeon in the past, if that were so then we can make this dungeon introduction as easy as we can explain"
"The following dungeon is currently ranked about D+, meaning this dungeon has quite a difficulty in traversing the said dungeons, we can expect many unexpected things that is going to happen inside here, which includes some monstrous monsters, unexpected terrain, and some hidden pathways that seemed suspicious enough to make one wary"
"But aside from that I hope everyone can return alive after entering this dungeon, we've already distributed the dungeon file towards everyone on their own system, all you have to do is study it as you enter the said dungeon, with that i wish everyone good luck and a safe return"
After informing everyone towards such dungeon, numerous people then immediately scurried over towards the files that were distributed in their system notification and begun reading through it to better prepare themselves for what to come inside
In fact even Shelly and Allesandro themselves were checking the files out, silently on their own, but before a minute could pass by everyone, Shelly herself closed her own system as she then proceeded to head towards the dungeon
Of course seeing that she was about to enter the dungeon on her own, Allesandro and Lilia then have no choice but to follow her steps as all three of them enetere4ed the said D+ ranked dungeon
With a bright flash of light and a fresh cool breeze, Lilia, Allesandro, and Shelly then finally entered the dungeon as they got notified by their own system upon entering

Upon seeing that notification they were then assured that they have entered the dungeon safely and without any anomaly, but upon entering the said D+ dungeon itself, they were then greeted by a sight they have never seen before
A completely destroyed forest dungeon displayed right in front of them, it was as if a huge war had just erupted in such a vicinity about a few hours ago
The trees were broken and burned, the ground was littered with craters, huge chunk of earth was lying everywhere, destroyed terrain or mountains, scorched landscape, dried up lake, and some speck of ice berg lying on some placed of the dungeons, it was a complete scenery of disaster that have never been seen before
In that instant not only were Lilia herself were stunned, but even Allesandro and Shelly beside her were stunned on their place and somehow imagined the catastrophe that had befallen the whole dungeon
The first one to react among the group of three was Allesandro himself followed by Shelly's comment
"What the hell happened here?" Reacted Allesandro
"Did... Did we just miss something or the information given to us beforehand by the government official is completely wrong?" Commented Shelly
"It feels like the whole dungeon itself is completely turned upside down by some weird force" said Allesandro as he further observed the place
"Turned upside down? This is more like a catastrophe hitting this place unexpected" added Shelly
As both Allesandro and Shelly were giving their own opinion regarding this dungeon, Lilia on the other hand wandered about to the side and started analyzing the whole destroyed terrain
By her knowledge and some dungeon experience, no calamity nor catastrophe could inflict such damage into a dungeon like this in any normal way, since the dungeon itself is completely run on some mysterious energy that she had never felt nor seen before, for them not even the government official's prized weaponry could do so much destruction, thus can only be concluded something or somewhat must have fought inside this dungeon while they still haven't arrived
While this was happening the other players then soon entered the dungeon themselves and were also flabbergasted by the scene, some were surprised while others started to complain by the false information and started going back out of the dungeon to nag at the assigned government official
Of course the government official that was assigned towards such dungeon was also confused by the complains that he recieved from the players that just entered D+ ranked dungeon, but after seeing the commotion for itself, he then slightly panicked for a little before contacting his higher-ups for any instructions to handle such situation
In the end as a solution for this ordeal, the government of the of this country then decided to change the exploration dungeon quest to investigation dungeon quest towards all the players available at the site and by doing that the system in every players panel screen then completely changed too

A sudden crisis struck the dungeon itself, thus causing worry for the higher-ups above, please investigate the dungeon to know what had transpired inside under everyone's notice

Seeing such notification popping out infront of every player in the vicinity, some of them begun to grumble and complain, while the others were relieved that the dungeon exploration hadn't been canceled at all
But all in all such a move from the government naturally benefited both sides as the players could continue their exploration under the guise of investigation, while the government could get an update in information from the players inside the dungeon itself
With such quest being changed that much, all of the players then became carefree for a moment before grouping up together and scattering all over the dungeon to investigate
Just like that even Lilia herself then had to follow both Allesandro and Shelly as the former showed his expertise is such event through his detective class, while the latter showed her prowess through her class as a scout and analyzer job
After leaving the entrance spot in the dungeon, Lilia then finally had a clear picture of the whole dungeon itself, originally before everything got destroyed the dungeon was nothing but huge land of a forested area with few ruins hiding within among the sea of trees
Even thought the wording sea of trees is a bit of an exaggeration due to some mountains peeking out in some area of highly populated trees, one couldn't hide the fact that this dungeon is dominated by trees itself, much more than caves and ruins could ever could
But all in all that just the surface area and neither the three of them knew anything underneath, if ever there is a passageway leading beneath the surface
As they got closer towards one of the nearby ruins, both Allesandro and Shelly begun giving their own conjecture around the place as Lilia intently listens in between them
"Seems like this dungeon is completely wiped clean, from the moment we stepped into this dungeon till the moment when we walk towards the ruin, there hasn't been any monster in the vicinity so far" said Allesandro
"Most likely whatever struck this place must have killed everyone off... do you think this is some kind of an event? You know special event! It is a possibility after all" conjectured Shelly
"An event eh? Hard to say, but if you think about it, didn't this dungeon belongs to that monster that got out of the dungeon a few days ago and is currently being hunted down?" Asks Allesandro
"If we put two on two together, it will make sense" agreed Shelly
"Indeed, in other words before the monster got out of the dungeon, there must have been some kind of a battle Royale that happened inside this place" guessed Allesandro
"Or perhaps the monster escaped from this dungeon because it got scared of something" said Shelly
"Do you think something popped out of nowhere to cause it to get scared and get out of the dungeon despite the restrictions?" Asked Lilia who suddenly got interested on the topic
"I'm not too sure! There are a lot of possibility that might happen in this kind of circumstances and what you've suggested is just one of them" answered Allesandro
"Well in other words in order to know more of what were currently dealing with, we will need more information of it through investigating the place... well chop chop boys and girls, we've got some investigation we needed to do" said Shelly as she started examining the ruins which showed signs of battle
Seeing that one of their members started to get enthusiastic on investigating the place, Allesandro and Lilia momentarily looked at each other before sighing out and following Shelly's path
Just like that as they investigated the place, they then started to gather some weird objects lying about the place which seemed out of place for some reason
As they search of some suspicious objects along the way, Lilia suddenly noticed a drop of dry blood on one of the spot in the ruins, seeing such red blood amidst the stains of green blood all around the place, she then felt something wasn't right as she called out towards her partners for their conjecture on this particular red blood stain
"Hey guys! I've found some blood!" Shouted Lilia
"Lilia! There is literally green blood stains everywhere, seemingly from monsters that died in this place" said Shelly in retort, seemingly confused on why would Lilia suddenly call out to them for something that was obvious
But instead of getting shot down, Lilia immediately cleared the misunderstanding, causing both Allesandro and Shelly to take notice of her caution
"But is not green blood from monsters, but rather red blood from seemingly what seems from a human"
"!!!"
Hearing her words which sparks their cautiousness, both Allesandro and Shelly then rushed up towards Lilia's location as they observed the red blood on the solid pavement in front of them
"Red Blood! It's actually red blood!" exclaimed Shelly
"If it's red blood, does that mean that there must have been some kind of fight that happened here and not some random made up catastrophe that we think it is?" asks Allesandro
"Must be! but this evidence would surely be beneficial to us, much more to the government itself since we actually found this stain on this location" said Shelly
"Alright! that does it! Let's look for more evidence on this location, there must be more than this evidence or signs of battle right?" asks Lilia
"Yes your right!" said Shelly
"Then let's go"
With that Lilia, Shelly, and Allesandro then started their investigation once more as they searched for other places which showed signs of battle till sundown, but no matter where they look all they could find was that little piece of evidence that they had luckily found along the way
when they turned the evidence in, the government then praised their effort as he handsomely rewarded them before disbanding the whole group
Soon after both Allesandro and Shelly then went on their own way as Lilia was then left behind to walk back towards her aunt's home
While she was walking she then thought up of various ideas regarding space itself which was the reason that the dungeon is formed, after all in the end she was more of a geek rather than a fighter herself
If ripples in space-time could provide clues to missing components of the universe, then the probability of life on another plane would be possible too, in other theorem such ripple is called on another name which is the primary cause of space time ripple
Gravitational waves are 'ripples' in space-time caused by some of the most violent and energetic processes in the Universe, the massive accelerating objects (such as neutron stars or black holes orbiting each other) would disrupt space-time in such a way that 'waves' of undulating space-time would propagate in all directions away from the source. These cosmic ripples would travel at the speed of light, carrying with them information about their origins, as well as clues to the nature of gravity itself which caused teleporting a possibility too
The strongest gravitational waves are produced by cataclysmic events such as colliding black holes, supernovae (massive stars exploding at the end of their lifetimes), and colliding neutron stars. Other waves are predicted to be caused by the rotation of neutron stars that are not perfect spheres, and possibly even the remnants of gravitational radiation created by the Big Bang
The Scientist themselves determined that the stars were getting closer to each other at precisely the rate predicted by general relativity if they were emitting gravitational waves, which actually proved of such an existence
Since then, many astronomers have studied pulsar radio-emissions (pulsars are neutron stars that emit beams of radio waves) and found similar effects, further confirming the existence of gravitational waves. But these confirmations had always come indirectly or mathematically and not through direct contact, thus which further requires more research
Even thought Lilia was thinking of such deep topic, She just somehow grew interested in it for the sake of her professor which actually brought the topic up
With that she continued on her walk as she also kept her attention towards her surroundings at the maximum capacity, after all there was that threat of a monster that escaped the dungeon, thus she doesn't have that leeway to be just a carefree girl
Unlike any ordinary girl she herself knew some of the defensive movement she should take whenever she is assaulted like Hammer strike, Groin kick, Heel palm strike, Elbow strike, Alternative elbow strikes, Escape from a 'bear hug attack, Escape with hands trapped, and Escape from side headlock, all of this in order to protect her woman self
At this very moment her senses suddenly picked up some terrifying amount of pressure behind her, seemingly planning to catch her off guard with it's silent steps, unfortunately Lilia wasn't a simple girl, much less the person right behind her
With sweat trickling down her face she then thought up of a possible attacker which said to be attacking the people who had system itself, if that were the case then Lilia herself will fighting the monster as strong as the player themselves, much more maybe even stringer that the said people
With fear finally catching up to her she then waited for a chance when the monster itself would try and pull her back, but as time goes on not even a single attempt of assault had attacked her, which further intensifies the pressure behind her
When she thought of running away, she couldn't help but somehow imagine a scenario wherein she would meet a bad end if she ran, just like in the horror movies, thus solidifying her stance as she stood bravely she then waited for that specific attempt as she suddenly felt a hand reaching out on her shoulder, which totally freaked her out
