Chapter 420: Chapter 420: Missing Person

Once everyone who survived and finished the dungeon got teleported out, various reporters from different media quickly rushed in in order to get the latest scoop of the reports that happened inside the dungeon. The first one who got swarmed by the media was the very people who led the dungeon, afterwards were the people who were well known in the internet. But since there were guards and units that were stationed nearby, the crowd of media were naturally controlled.
Of course since Lilia is somewhat known as a streamer to some small scale people in the mass population of social media, she was then asked by various questions related to the dungeon. However she completely disregarded the voices of the reporters as she pushed them away as she searched for a specific person among the sea of people.
In that moment at the corner of her eye, she saw Kaido slowly picking up the bags that they left behind before they entered the dungeon. Upon seeing his back, she quickly rushed up to him and hugged him from behind. For a moment she thought that she wouldn't be able to see him since he was left behind with a monster of unfathomable strength, Thankfully he managed to get out alive.
After letting him go, she then begun inquiring him about what happened.
"So you got out"
"Why? shouldn't i get out after killing a monster that looks like a dungeon boss?"
"Wait! what? that was a dungeon boss?"
"Since the dungeon was cleared, then yeah... apparently there are two ways on how to conquer this dungeon"
In that moment Shelly then came forward ion order to ask what Kaido meant.
"Two ways? explain!"
"... it is either to successfully escape the dark hallway, or defeat the shadow knight after it absorbs all the other monsters in the area. Based on my observation you guys accomplished the former and i accomplished the latter"
Upon hearing Kaido's words, Shelly showed an understanding expression as she nodded accordingly. In that moment however, someone unexpected saw them from afar as Cedric tried his best to get to them and complain about Kaido's rudeness. Unfortunately the moment he broke away, he was once again swarmed by some of his fans as they tried to get a good look at him.
Due to that Cedric wasn't able to do anything against the crowd as he saw Kaido and the rest leave the area after packing up their bags. Naturally before they left, they were then paid by the officer who administered the dungeon for participating in the raid. Once they got paid, the three of them naturally disappeared from everyone's sight.
After seeing them leave freely, Cedric felt the sudden burst opf anger swelled inside of him as he held everything in.

At the same time back in Kaido's world filled with Espers, Three people were currently loitering around the establishment as they looked over at the place where Kaido went missing. Specifically this three people were Argos, Fengris, and Aileen.

As Argos was checking the spatial wave around the area, Fengris on the other hand is specifically using his nose in order to find Kaido's' scent. On the other hand Aileen herself is currently mingling among the crowd while investigating the last place where Kaido's presence disappeared.
Quite a few days ago they had completely lost Kaido's presence on the planet. At first they thought that Kaido was currently cut off in some dimension which isolated him from reality, but the moment Calamity (who supposedly only Kaido has a connection with) begun contacting them about Kaido's disappearance, they immediately know that something was wrong. Of course Calamity appeared to them in a form of a spectre since beings of her level cant descend down to the human realm.
The first one who got affected by the news was Ingrid herself, since she had a special relationship with Kaido as his lover, she naturally begun to panic once she learned that Kaido was gone to the point that a higher being cant even find him. After her were Sui, Melfina, and Rebecca who became worried.
Thus in order to find out where he was, the three of the strongest people in the group then headed over to South Korea in order to find Kaido's whereabouts and investigate his disappearance. Luckily for them his last stop was quite well known in the country, after all a person was found dead on the place he disappeared.
Starting with that clue, the three of them headed to such place in order to investigate the matter. Unfortunately investigating wasn't that easy at all, especially the case for Aileen who was out in the open.
Since Aileen's beauty in her teenager form was a sight to behold, many people were naturally enamored by her appearance as some people started calling out to her to hang out. Such calls were quite troublesome especially some of the guys often blocks her path. But since Aileen was much stronger than those pick up guys combined, such people naturally pose no threat to her. With just a slight nudge she can actually just brushed them away, literally.
In fact those pick up guys weren't the only one who were bothersome. Even some agency was quite a nuisance. Since the place was South Korea which is famous for its K-pop idols and K-drama actors, numerous agency would naturally be such a place to scout for any good looking star material people.
After quite awhile of putting up some good impression act, Aileen finally lost those agency scouts, which then left her with some eyes from surrounding people who thinks of her as a model the further she walks around the place.
Soon after the eyes just grew numerous as Fengris and Argos joined the spotlight together with Aileen. With all three good looking people huddled together, people's attention would naturally get dragged towards them as phones begun taking picture and video about them.
Amidst all these attention Argos, Fengris, and Aileen begun discussing what they found out in the open.
"So what did you guys find? Do you have any clues which would lead us to Kaido?" Asks by Argos?
"Aside from his lingering scent in this place? nothing" answered by Fengris
"But the space in this place has a record of being distorted, so i can conclude that something happened to him which involves space manipulation" added by Aileen
"... So you found out about that too?" asked by Argos
"Yeah! and speaking of Kaido, i believe he would do anything just to break out from the space isolation which dragged him out from reality... and in order to do that, he would need to completely destroy the isolated space using a humongous force" said by Aileen
"Yes your right! if that succeeded, then he would return to the place where he got isolated, but that didn't happen..." speculated by Argos
"Do you think someone intervened in between the destruction of space? cause if someone did, then its plausible that Kaido got dragged away into another reality dimension after going off course from the intervened destruction of the isolated space" asked by Aileen
"... Is that even possible? I mean where did you even get that?" Asked by Argos
"That? well i learned something new in one of those science books found in the libraries back in Japan" answered by Aileen
Upon hearing their deduction, Fengris couldn't help but open his mouth in shock as he was amazed by the two of them
"You guys got all that just from a miniscule clue? You guys are just something else"
Completely ignoring Fengris remarks, Argos then continued on.
"Getting dragged away by being ejected out from space due to a spatial disruption?"
"Yes! just like the function of a person being ejected out of a rocket when a breached appeared beside an astronaut" said by Aileen
"Astronaut?" asked by Argos
"An astronaut is a person trained, equipped, and deployed by a human spaceflight program to serve as a commander or crew member aboard a spacecraft" explained by Aileen"
"....."
"....."
"To sum it up if our conclusion is right, Kaido is not on this space, reality, or world, but somewhere else?"
"... I'm not too sure but exactly"
When they arrived at such conclusion, both of them then decided to just simply write up such a thing in their report as one of their plausible conclusion. After all their primary clue towards such conclusion is the disturbed space in the surroundings which is felt by anyone who can wield space magic. In particular anyone who have affinity t such an element would naturally be sensitive towards it, such a person is Aileen and Argos.
In that moment while the three of them were having their discussion, numerous people naturally crowd around them as they showed interest to their model like form. Unable to contain it any longer, some people begun taking pictures of them from afar, while some people approached them in order to coerce them to join their agency.
Naturally there would be creeps who would often take underskirt photos out of Aileen due to her having a really short skirt. But since Aileen doesn't really mind such low angle shots due to having experience of being naked some the time in front of guest who visited her black castle as food, she naturally lack in that particular manner of being ashamed.
However since they started getting attention, the three of them quickly notice such an uproar as they quickly ran away upon noticing their dire situation. Of course they weren't running away from the admiring crowd, but rather they were running away from being detected by their enemies in this world.
Aside from Kaido, the three of them are actually also targeted by the G.E.N.O.S organization, but since Kaido is the only one who proactively hunt them down even in overseas , he naturally outshines the three of them in terms of involvement. Thus they were slowly being forgotten by their enemies.
However if their pictures are spread even further than the acceptable ratio, then there is a chance that they would return to the limelight and be also hunted down just like Kaido.
Soon after taking their distance away from the crowd, Aileen begun casting her spatial magic as she teleported them towards a safer location facing the sea before creating a portal back to their hideout in Japan.

Back in Japan technically somewhere in Shibuya, a newly rented out apartment complex was emitting a bright light inside as Aileen together with Fengris and Argos finally returned from South Korea, Seoul.
The moment they arrived the sole people who welcomed their return while seemingly not bothered was Endou, Sui, Akari, Sara, Asahi, Tenpei, and Homura.

In this apartment complex which could house about 20 people, Kaido's group and the former rebels group of japan then lived together in hiding while Kaido continues on sparking out the rebellion in other places. Since Kaido was the only one crazy enough to accomplish such a thing, it was natural that he would be left for that task.
The moment the three of them arrived, the other members of the former rebel group who had just recently received the news that Kaido had disappeared, then quickly approached them in order to inquire the situation in south Korea. However before they could even take a step bit closer, Sui suddenly rushed pass them as she stood in front of Aileen.
At the moment of Kaido's absence, Sui herself had grown a bit from her original height, this time her height had finally reached Aileen's teenager form's upper stomach level, if given time, Sui would be one of the tallest people among them. Plus with her great figure and beauty that is foreign to this world including her hair, Sui would be one heck of a celebrity one day.
"|Aileen- oneesama! Papa? where's papa? did you find papa?"
Upon seeing Sui's worried faces, Aileen couldn't help but shook her head in disappointment as she shared the conclusion of their investigation. Settling down everyone present, she then proceeded to them what they found in their investigation and what conclusion they have arrived. But since Melfina, Rebecca, and Ingrid was not here at the moment due to their personal assignment, they had no choice but repeat everything they will explain to them later.
To be exact Kaido assigned the three of them to secretly monitor the people who are close to them in case the organization plans to once again drag them into their mess. To prevent that Ingrid is currently working as Kaido's mother secretary, Rebecca is working as Kaido's father employee, and Melfina is attending Ayame's high school as her classmate.
To hide Melfina's unique elf trait, Aileen then often times use her space magic to hide her ears.
Soon after when they finished explaining the things they had concluded in their investigation, everyone then became silent as they felt the situation as absurd as it is. Nevertheless if this is proven as a fact, then this problem would be on a whole another level.
After staying silent for awhile, all of them understood the graveness of the situation as they all took a complicated expression on their faces. But since this theory isn't so far fetched due to the fact that Kaido's companions came from another world, they had no choice but to actually take a peek to the trail left behind by the space distortion. If they try to follow its trail, they might be able to locate where Kaido is stranded.
This series of discussion and continuous error testing continued till the sun set down to the whole country of japan. Each and every one of them had their own tasks to accomplish to calculate where Kaido could possibly be. Endou together with Asahi took care of the computation for its plausible coordinates, Sara and Akari then took the duty of preparing dinner, while Tenpei and Homura took the trial and error test in creating a distorted space using 3D testing program in their own pc.
As for the calamity class beings, they simply laid back in the living room as they let the busy bodied handle all the work together with Sui while watching cartoon.
Soon after Ingrid together with Rebecca and Melfina arrived from their guarding duty as they were exasperated on how messy the place is. But after the three calamity beings explained the situation, they then realized the graveness of the situation as they learned the reason for Kaido's disappearance from their surveillance.
Thus despite their tired look, they soon brimmed up with energy as they also tried to aid their tests and this lasted till the break of dawn without rest for anyone. Aside from Endou who was glued in his computation, the others were just exhausted both mentally and physically.
As for the calamity beings who just laid back, they most of the time helped them out of pure curiosity, but once they lost interest to their work, they would just abandon them midway. However just at the moment when they were about take a break from not having their expected results in their testing, the entity calamity itself who was sticking to Kaido as an astral spirit all this time then decided to finally showed herself in front of them.
The moment she appeared , all of them then struck up in wariness as they stared back at her, however the first one to recognize her from her pattern of energy were her children themselves.
"Who are you!?!" asked by Melfina as she unsheathed her dagger
"Put your weapons down!" called out by Fengris who usually stayed oblivious to any threat
Upon hearing Fangris warning, everyone let hesitated for a bit before following his call when they saw Aileen and Argos agreeing towards Fengris choice. After everyone let go of their weapon, Argos then proceeded the conversation towards the entity who they hailed as the origin of their class.
"I don't know who you are, but i know what you are... if you have something to say, just say it"
Hearing Argos choice of words, Calamity then utter a simple reply which then held the purpose of what she came for.
"I've found Kaido"
"!!!"
The moment they heard her words all of them perked up stark awake as they all stared at her in shock.

It took quite a while for Calamity to fully explain her current situation and information from her separate operation. Ever since Kaido's traces disappeared from earth and her connection to him was cut off, she then spent most of the time in between realms on finding him rather than wasting time dilly dallying.
Since she witnessed herself the process on how Kaido was ejected out from a distorted space, she naturally knew which direction we was thrown out of his own reality. Thus by following the trail and complicated route the way the ejection threw him off, she was then able to visit other worlds not affected by her presence due to lack of world credibility and investigate the other trail left behind by his passing.
Soon after her considerable effort, she then found the location where Kaido was stranded. However the world itself has some kind of defensive mechanism towards outer entity such as her kind and divinity from another realm. Even thought she doesn't know what kind of power was protecting that worlds, she then had no choice but to take a retreat and re-plan her retrieval of her lost child.
Unfortunately going back to Kaido's world was easy for her, but retracing her steps back to the foreign world where Kaido is located is quite a problem in its own. Taking the distance aside, she would need an external help in order for her to fully retrieve Kaido. Thus she describe the miles she took just to reach that planet.
Hearing the numbers, Endou himself started to calculate the distance which she describe and was shocked to learn that Kaido's location was totally far off outside their galaxy and unto another neighboring galaxy itself. If they wanted to actually reach him, they would need some warp space in order to arrive on that planet without aging a lot during the travel.
However since magic is another variable, he will then have to adjust the his calculation. But even if taking into account, it was still quite a hassle.
In that moment Calamity voiced out a certain solution which would aid them to actually traveling lightyears without any external help.
"How about Hijacking?"
Once Calamity voiced out her thoughts, she then further explained what she meant as she literally describes the process of hijacking a process of summoning between worlds as means of transportation. For her hijacking a summoning or Isekai phenomenon is not hard at all. However once everyone heard that absurd idea, all of them were then flabbergasted as they stared shock towards her.
