The tough sonuvab*tch struggled to the kneeling. He lifted up his broken sword as if it could save him. 

Ree crossed the distance in a mana-empowered leap. 

Her kick struck the side of his neck. 

His sword didn't do shite. A shattered blackstone edge wasn't enough to pierce Ree's skin.
