Chapter 3: I am not a BOY!!!
A person could be seen walking towards the exit door of a bar.All the men inside the bar were snapped out and lying like a bunch of dead flies.
This person mentioned here is a girl,she looks about 16 years old and has long peach hair. She looked at the door as she saw an owl entering from the window,it had a small letter tied to its legs which the girl opened and read.
As she read the letter,a slight smirk formed on her face."Understood.." she said and sent back the owl. She saw a man lying in front of her with an angry look on her face.
"Huh..these people are disgusting..Such people doesn't deserve to live.." She snatched the brown-shabby hoodie from the fat man and wore it.
It was long enough to cover her whole body..the girl kicked the door and in an instant she dissapeared...
The girl's POV :-
"*Clang!*." I struck open the door gasping heavely as I could hardly breath.
" This must be the palace." I said as I looked at a vast palace in front of me. I am currently in the Kingdom of Liones and from the looks of the people here ,its hard to believe that there's been a war being fought in this area.
Anyways..That's none of my concern.The main reason for me to be here is to take back what belongs to my 'Master'. The book of Inheritance, 'The secret Mage'.
From the current information provided to me,I only know that this book is a treasure of secret information,the full details are kept confidential from us members but 'Master' has given this task to just me..And I will proove my worth by stealing the book even in guards of what they call 'THE SEVEN DEADLY SINS'..Hmph!just a bunch of idiots getting worthless fame..
I firstly decided to attack directly but the orders say thay I must not kill any of those idiots and avoid getting into a clash and getting identified. Hence,I wore this shabby hoodie to hide my whole body and face.
"Hey hey..!? Where do you think you are going ? This is the royal palace,not everyone is allowed here!" A guard spouted as I was entering the main door.I made sure that my sword was hidden inside my hoodie.
The guard came closer and held my shoulder."Hey..Who are you? Are you a boy?" I kept my cool and imitate my voice that sounded both like a boy and a girl.
"I have come to take part in the royal feast.Since every citizen was invited,I'm allowed to go as well. You can't deny me to go in." I replied as he smirked. Maybe he noticed that I'm a girl. Was that an evil smirk? If so then it would be his last one.
"Listen kiddo..The feast and the gatherings have long been dismissed."The knight held back his hand and bent down to my height.
"But still..If you are hungry you could come to my house.The knights are having a private party as well. Looks like the war took your family but you're not alone..You belong to our vast family of Liones."The knights said in a sympathetic voice,his toch felt much softer to me than the other knights I've ever met or fought.
Hmph..He thinks he could fool me by acting good? I've been through countless betrayals and I'm not gonna be fetched by his childish plan. So poor of him to choose me as his prey.
"I- I..want to tell you something" I started sobbing just as per my plan and the knight reacted the same way I wanted him to.
He came much closer "Hmm? What is it? Feel free to—" *crash* "Ahhhhh....."
Before he could complete his nonsense I hit him hard in the face and there he was sent flying and crashed the door.
"I would've just gotten in without creating a mess.." I went closer to him as he hardly maintained his consciousness. "But your childish plan to catch me offguard really disgusted me ."
And the man blacked out "Wh-Who...are?" were his last words for today. "Soon the others will arrive here.." I thought as I adjusted my hoodie. "The orders are to avoid direct fight." I jumped over the large wall and ran towards the location I was given.
I easily entered the palace and took each step with full precaution."If only I were allowed to attack..This would've been much easier." I was really irritated of not being able to use my sword. As I was running through the corridor I saw a room where the sins were all gathered..Well that doesn't took my interest.What took my interest was what the old geezer (probably the king) was holding.
"That book! Its there!" I muttered to myself as I suddenly drifted to slower my speed.
"First the feast was over and now the book is here...Am I getting wrong informations?" But this wasn't the time to think about that.The book was in front of me that too surrounded by the sins..Is this situation is bad for me..? Ooooh..I'm scared... Heh..
*Thud* I slammed the half open door and it broke. "Looks like it has already started." The old king said as a tall man stood and walked towards me.
"What is it kiddo? Lost your way to mama?"He said as he bent down to my height.
"Heh..Never look down on me..you idiot.." I punched him down his neck and he too was sent flying to the wall.
"Ban!" A young blondy screamed as she ran to handle the tall guy.
A crashed sound came as the wall broke with a large whole in between.
I knew who he was,he was Ban,the fox sin of greed."If he knocked out just from this then I'm wasting my time here"I uttered to myself as I saw him smiling even when he was bleeding all over."Heh..You're good kiddo..Looks like its gonna be FUN!"
He charged towards me in lightning speed.Just in a moment he was behind me but I wasn't surprised at all. I already knew he would do something rediculous like that.
"Now take this—" He was about to say and hit me but I cut him off "Gotcha.." I grabbed the hand he was going to use to hit me and threw him out of the window.
"Ban!" The other sins were still dumbfounded but I wasn't yet impressed. But I was ordered not to fight direct and so I simply used my flash step and snatched the book from the king.
It happen in such an instant that the king didn't even noticed that the book is not in his grab anymore.
"Your majesty.. ..The Book!" A girl wearing orange clothes shouted. She was Dianne, the serpent's sin.
"What? When did he?" As expected the king thought of me as a boy. But that doesn't matter.
I jumped down from the window where I threw Ban before the sins could process anything. "What a waste..." I said as I landed safely on the ground.
"He's there! Capture him!" A group of knights appeared in front of me. While the pink haired man ordered them from the window I just now jumped off. He was Gilthunder..another stupid boy fan of those sins who was physically grown up with no mental improvements.
"Shit!..I don't have much time.." I muttered as I saw the sun going down slowly and slowly. There was only one way in front of me..To RUN!
Not that I can't handle a bunch of insects but the sins must be having at least some potential to slow me down if my 'Master' warned me against them..
"Follow him!" A knight exclaimed as they ran behind me...
"Seriously..?" I said in monotone as I ran towards that huge wall at the outskirts of the kingdom.
