Chapter 32: Lone Wolf
- The Emperor Mountain, in the afternoon -
"Marshal Lang..., we are ready for your command!!" said his Garrison Captains in unison while they placed their left hand on his heart and bowed his body to salute him.
Nick Lang applauded his Captains," Great... That what I need to hear from all four of you!! We need to raise the morality of our soldiers... I won't forgive a deserter! For now...we will stay here to plan a strategy to attack and tomorrow we will attack Shen's headquarters!"
At that same moment, Lone Wolf cut him off and said, " Marshal Lang..., not to disrespect but I need to go now for a private mission. We will go with you to the battlefield..., however, only my soldiers you can command....but leave my brothers alone..., they know what to do during the war..., no need your instruction."
Without waiting for his answer, Lone wolf left in a swoosh.
'Show off', Nick Lang muttered inwardly. The Lone Wolf was using his qigong to leave as fast as the wind.
Lone Wolf was jumping up really high from branch to branch. He was too into himself that he didn't realize that someone had put a trap by the branches. Accidently, he was pressing the hidden trigger on the branch by his foot and a large metal net was upon him and caught him like a fish. He was falling to the ground by the impact.
While laying face down on the ground, he saw a little kid towering over him. It was Marshal Shen guard.., he didn't know his identity from his spying activity but from the way he talked that night, he definitely worked for Marshal Shen as his agent.
Alex Lee just watching his prey by crossing his arms and smirked.
"Do you think this thin net could hold me, little boy?!!"
He was unable to move but to show that he was not bluffing, he used his inner energy to tear the net but it didn't even stretch for a bit.
"You will address me...., Young master!! That net was made from granulated Meteor Crystals, it was even stronger and rarer than meteor rock!!"
Lone Wolf gaped and said," How could you obtain it? You could buy a nation with just a handful of meteor crystals!!".
"I work as a secret agent just like you, but not to an evil people.., we choose and investigate our clients before we worked for them!! Most of our clients are from the wealthy in the overseas country..., why don't you join me instead? I am willing to pay more than the evil emperor!!" persuaded Alex Lee smoothly.
"The emperor secret agents...., just like its name.., we served only the emperor!!!"
"The former emperor was your true master..., I believe!!! Do you know that the current emperor killed the former emperor because he was a bastard?!!"
Lone Wolf was confused and unable to make a decision because serving the emperor was his mission in life. He killed many innocent people for him but he always thought it was for the greater good...
How could he admit that all his life, he had picked the wrong direction?
Alex Lee didn't give up, he still had a trump card up his sleeve." Your uncle..., he still alive..., he told my informant that the emperor poisoned your dad when your dad knew he was a bastard!!"
"W-What?!! My Dad disappeared 15 years ago after he completed a mission!"
"That mission was to kill my grandparents!! After the mission, he killed your dad..., but your uncle survived and ran overseas to protect the family..., he had to change his face to come back home, so the emperor won't kill him!!"
"I won't believe anything without evidence.., you could bring just anyone to make your story believable!!"
Right after Lone Wolf finished with his words, a horse carriage was heading toward them...
It stopped right ahead of them...
The driver of the cart was helping an older man to get out of the cart...
Lone Wolf was peeking at the old man...
"No..., my uncle martial art was formidable and his cultivation level also at the highest, that old man was totally an imposter!!"
Alex Lee ignoring him and bowed at the older man." Thank you for coming here, elder Flying Wolf!!"
"It's my pleasure!! Where's my nephew, Lone Wolf? I haven't seen him since he was three years old..., I remembered making him a swing by the maple tree in front of our mansion..."

The old man was looking at him with a surprised look and happiness, but also sadness...

The elder was confused what to said to convince his nephew, after all, he was only three years old when he left, and for 15 years he decided to protect the family by living overseas.

At that moment, Flying Wolf remembered an incident in his nephew childhood, and said cheerfully," Our little neighbor...., who about the same age as you...., have a big crush on you and wanted to be your wife. This time, nobody knew this fact besides his uncle, because he had promised him to keep it a secret when he brought him back home. On top of that, the way the old man laughed was so similar to his uncle...
He was crying and shouted," Uncle Flying Wolf!!!"
Alex Lee sighed with relief and released Lone Wolf by clicking on his homemade remote.
"Uncle!!!" Lone Wolf was hugging him tightly.
"Nephew!!" his uncle was hugging him back by tapping his shoulder just like the way it was on the past. Lone Wolf was trembling with uncontrollable mixed emotion...
His uncle was so weak and he could feel that his body was rotting away. He cried harder. The evil emperor would pay dearly for all of this.
"Young Master..., thank you for letting me know the truth..., however..., how do you know... How to trap me?", asked Lone Wolf with curiosity.
"I knew about your qigong skill.., I predicted where you would land to rest your feet and jumped again.., also..., I was setting up 10 traps...., just in case if this one defected.., but you happened to trigger the first trap!!"
Lone Wolf was impressed with the young master skill and something dawned on him and he uttered, " Only a person with qigong can predict this..., you are so young... Could that be possible?!!"
Alex Lee furrowed his brows with dignity and said, " One of my teachers at the spy Academy also from ancient clan..., I learned this skill since I was one year old!!"
Lone Wolf was aghast that someone as young as him could master qigong and cultivation..., He must be the one and only prodigy genius in this world...
"Young Master, from now on..., my family and I..., are willing to serve you!!"
Alex Lee was smiling with relief, his mission to bring down the Emperor's secret agents was successful. Now, he was hoping to hear a piece of good news from Agent 001...
