Chapter 3: Descension
[Time Until Descension 1 Month]
Yes, one month left. Surprisingly though these past 5 months haven't felt that long. There's multiple reasons I can think of to be the cause, [Heartless] or [Composure], maybe because I've been pre-occupied with creating demons, and lastly the influence of my new race. I'll have to look into that at a later date.
Since the first battle with that army four months ago there've been a couple more battles on the same scale or higher. I've lost a lot of demons due to these battles unfortunately, but luckily I've still got around 105,000 lesser and 200 greater demons. This amount should be sufficient for when I descend. I just wish they would leave my poor demons alone, they never did anything wrong you know!
I've noticed that this world seems to only have one massive continent and that there are multiple kingdoms spread around it. This could be bad news for me since there's nothing stopping all the kingdoms from sending massive armies at me all at once. However it seems that all the kingdoms apart from the one I'm close to have turned a blind eye to my demons. I assume this to be some kind of political move or whatever, trying to whittle down this kingdoms strength with a borrowed hand. Although it annoys me I'm fine with it since I only have to deal with one kingdom for now.
Also the closer I get to my descension the more I can sense where I'll descend to. So naturally I moved my army of demons closer to there. The demons are still closest to the kingdom that's been bothering me so the others still act like I don't exist. These guys don't have a very good danger sense do they?

Well looks like Its finally time to go outside. However I don't seem to just get teleported, I think I have to go through this rift in front of me. Though I think that should of been obvious.
Walking through the rift feels weird since all my senses feel warped to an extent until finally I arrive in a plain surrounded by a sight that was very welcomed, demons lots and lots of demons.

There's no need to look at these new skills immediately, although I am curious.
The massive rift that I walked through and it sort of looks like a void. and the demons surrounding me seem to be the same type, the lesser demons are the hellhounds I had expected, and the greater demons are big, they have six legs, a tail, and two horns on the side of their heads.
I wonder if I can create different types of demons in the lesser and greater category, since I didn't exactly try to create a certain type I just sort of did it. Indulging in my curiosity I used [Create Demon:Greater] and tried creating an insectoid type demon, failing in the process. I tried creating different types other than insectoids and it still failed. I wonder if I'll be able to unlock new types later on?
Now time to look at myself. Compared to my demons I'm extremely tall, if the greater demons are as tall as a rhino then I'd be around four and a half meters tall. I have two horns that curl around my head and look like a crown. The back of my arms, legs, bottom of my feet, and my back are covered in black , hard scales. While the skin on the front of my body is black just like the front, and tough like a reptiles. looking at my hands I can see short but sharp claws, good thing they're short so they wont get it the way when I pick stuff up. Unfortunately It looks like I don't have wings, but I do have a long tail with what looks like a blade on the end. The tail is longer than my arms so it could prove to be useful. Now for the most important.... genderless. Well, if we look on the bright side I don't need clothes.
Okay something to cheer me up, what do my new skills look like?
[Demonic Energy Control] : Provides control over demonic energy and allows one to create attacks and miscellaneous spells outside of the skill system.
Hmmm, that seems very useful, but demonic energy not mana. I wonder why.
[Demon King's Fire] : Very powerful forever burning demonic fire that is almost impossible to put out. Ignores fire resistance.
I have a feeling this is going to be my most powerful weapon.
[Demon King's leadership] : Empowers all demons under the demon king's control. Provides a stronger bonus to demons closer to the demon king.
Useful for large battles but unless I'm being attacked I won't be near my demons so its good they get a buff regardless.
[Mana Absorption] : Absorbs mana from around oneself.
Is this even useful since it seems I use demonic energy not mana, although it should have a use since I got it when I descended.
[Mana Conversion:Demonic] : Turns mana stored in the body into demonic energy.
It seems this works together with [Mana Absorption]. I had noticed that I seemed to replenish my energy faster when I walked through the rift and it appears this was the reason.
[Item Creation:Demonic] : Uses demonic energy to create demonic items.
Very vague but could be useful. although I just now noticed some of my skills seem to be of a demonic variation. Does this mean that the natives of this world also use the system or perhaps they use a certain item that scans their bodies and tell them their skills. Anyway its not like I can figure this out immediately so I'll put it on the shelf for now.
Anyway, now with my new skills the people of this world will have no choice but to coexist peacefully with me!
