Chapter 4: Chapter 4: The Girl With Name.

Just as Lucian peers down at the girl and takes notice of how she shivers he realizes the water must be freezing. Turning his head he notices one of the maids coming around the corner with haste. Her eyes widen as she looks surprised as to what is going on before her. "Master Lucian! Is Miss all right?" Not know how to respond he shrugs and motions for her to fetch the towel, while barking out orders, "Grab the towel and help me wrap her in it. I want you to fetch a warm blanket for her to be tucked into." The maid hastily grabs the towel and helps him wrap it around the young girl's body as he lifts her out of the tub. Just as she is pulled out of the water she grows limp as if she wasted all her energy by going into shock with what had happened. The maid turns around abruptly to go retrieve a warm blanket for the Miss to sleep with so she wouldn't catch a cold, God knew how long the poor girl was in that cold water.

Sighing he finds himself holding the girl in his arms as he looks down. So tiny. So fragile. He looks down at her. "Nisha...", he whispers so softly as if to not stir her awake. The moonlight shines in through the windows and he notices how the girl's hair almost has a glowing effect whenever the light touches it. He walks slowly towards the bed after toweling as much of her off as he could while maintaining a gentleman's composer. What has happened to her now? He thought as the maid comes back into the bedroom with a nice warm blanket. Together in silence they dress her and tuck her in the bed, so that she may slumber sweetly.

"Master Lucian?", the maid asks for his attention.

"What is it, Abigail?"

"Did you ever get to figure out what is going on with this poor Miss? The word she was mumbling... do you think it may be a name for some sort?", the maid asked with concern. Not only for the strange woman that was brought into the house but for the safety of her Master and the others that work and reside in this Manor.

Shaking his head as his eyes linger on the girl in bed once more. "It appears something had caused her to jog her memory. She may have heard this word or name from some sort of remembrance. Though if it is indeed a name I would not know if it is her own or someone else's. Patience is all we can afford right now. Perhaps in due time, looking further into this will have a purpose. For now, I fear that it will not help to start searching to hastily."

"Quite right Master Lucian. Is there anything else I can do for you?"

"Abigail."

"Yes, Master Lucian?"

"Just know that you are her assigned maid for now. You know I trust you, for you have capable hands. Go ahead and rest for now. Be sure to check on her first thing in the morning and call me should something happens. I have errands to run before sunrise."

"Yes, Master Lucian." The maid bows her head and turns quietly as she closes the door with a soft click. Strolling along the corridor her thoughts run through today's events. Surely, whatever has happened to that girl in the room was not anything pleasant. Thankful that she is not in the same shoes as the Miss she continues towards the servants quarters of the manor. Tomorrow may just as well be a long day just like today was.

Back in the Miss' room, Lucian remains there a bit longer, not wanting to leave. Almost as if he is afraid he might miss something important. Or is he just lying to himself? Perhaps he's taken a liking towards the docile girl laying in the bed before him. Walking up to the side of the bed he looks down at her as the girl's face shows a sheen of sweet along her face, making it appear as if she was made of porcelain. Thinking how appropriate considering she is fragile in this current state. Looking at her pink lips they appear inviting as he inches closer and smells the aroma of the ocean waters and rose. His lips hover over the lips that make him yearn to kiss. Tempted to steal a kiss from her, but finally, his sense of morals reminds him that he is a man of stature and that temptations such as these should not make his demeanor falter. Thinking better of it he turns the lamps off and heads over to his room that coincidentally resides next to hers.

Unable to sleep he decides to read a book to try and relax. The binding of the book he holds is so old that it appears it's dust falling off of it when in fact it is part of the leather binding. A book that had been in his family since the fall of the millennium era. He recalls a time when he was younger than his elders would always discourage him from trying to take off with this book, wanting to read the contents of history that were written with in the pages. Naturally, as he got older his interest in this ancient book waned. All he knew throughout the years is that it maintained information about the legend that was told throughout time. As time went the story would change as if the foundations of it have receded into the past. Nothing left for certain and now only based on speculation and assumption of what one may tell as if it was just a fairy tale.

The thing was this planet never use to have two moons and the sun never use to be so red. It's hue use to be a burnt orange as it settled down into the ground. It's been said that something tragic happened and in the process of the catastrophic event that nearly wiped the human race out, the purple moon was born. He folds open the book as if his thirst for the book's knowledge has returned. The girl being the reason behind it all as well as the disappearance of the purple moon. The words begin to flood into his mind as if a sponge was eagerly absorbing its essence.

'What Came To Be'

'It is said that on one fateful day. The existence of humanity was tested in the aftermath of what had transpired. The recollection of the date itself is unknown as to when this traumatic event had occurred, but it has been documented that this may have happened in the year 2010. A comet had formed from far within the solar system that Earth resides in, and was barreling at high speeds towards our planet.'

'At this time in age, the planet earth knew of only one moon and a sun that never reached the colors of a deep red as it does these days. No one knows as to why nor how these anomalies have come to be. All we know is that this is what becomes of our planet. Back then overpopulation of the human species was troublesome. With that came the overabundance of pollution that crept into the Earth's atmosphere. Global warming, becoming something of much greater importance to humanity with each passing year.'

'The comet designated itself to bring the impact of itself upon the lands that many humans and animals thrived on. Following the comet, numerous rocks that were the size of destruction. Upon the invasion of the Earth's atmosphere, the great comet split in two. As it split it appeared what was trapped within the center of the comet had both a blue and purple essence that separated themselves. One half turning into an illuminated blue, and the other half a luminescent purple. It is said that when these two halves of the comet descended upon the lands not only did the lands shutter and shake. The lives of animal and humans alike were at risk from the massive impact; however, other...'

Lucian closes the book as a breeze blows softly through the open window of where Lucian was engrossed in reading the information that the ancient book contained. Suddenly a hand full of noises echoed from outside his window, getting up to his feet. He strolls across the cool wood floor and he steps out of the french doors leading to the balcony. As he turns around the wind picks up, blowing his hair across his face. He sees what had caused the soft noises outside. His eyes grow wide and his mouth opens as he can't believe what he is seeing. She's sitting atop the railing of the balcony, looking up to the bright blue moon and from this angle he can see the longing that lingers in those violet eyes of hers. Turning his head wondering where the bright light has come from and he notices this time, for the first time the blue moon was full instead of its usual crescent self.
