Chapter 3: Prologue (3)
Kurokawa Futaba is a character that appears several times before the protagonist. Though she is not deeply involved with them she is always moving behind the scene.
Did I forget to mention that she was a beauty? Of course, she was also one of the heroines but only as part of an overpriced DLC though, for all the milf lovers such as myself, it was a great deal.
"Ara? It seems you remember me, that's good then, it'll make this easier. Let's find a place to talk."
Nodding my head, I led her to the closest cafe in town.
"What's wrong?"
Maybe because I peeked at her face many times, she asked while tilting her head.
I can't really say "Because a character from an Eroge suddenly appeared in front of me" or "I can't believe that you already pass your twenties." I mean, I can't believe that an Oba-san in an Eroge could be such a beauty, this is bad she is too much of a beauty.
Not only that, it seems like she knows me?
It was like my eyes were sucked in by a black hole, so when I am looking at her I ended up becoming conscious.
Be it as it may, for some reason I remember that I wasn't a virgin. So I wasn't as conscious as I thought I would be or so it seemed.
"No, I just can't believe that there's a celebrity of the magical world is right in front of me...."
I answered her with an appropriate response. If this is the same as the game then she is certainly a celebrity. But at this point, should I still consider the world as if it were still the game?
"Ara ara, please don't mind that sort of thing. Moreover, I would like you to be more casual from now on."
Ha?
What does she mean by that? If I think about it now, that relative of my mother should be contacting me soo…
No way! Could it be the famous Witch of Eden who is not only one of the world's strongest ability-users but also an incredible beauty who is in her forties but looks just like a high schooler be that relative?
"Haruhiro-kun."
"Yes!"
Her voice suddenly turned sharp. My voice got involuntarily higher because of her sudden change in tone.
"I will be straight. I will have you live with me."
Did I forget to clean my ears? I guess that confirms my suspicions, to think she would actually be a relative.
"I will be in your care."
"Please treat me well?"
Hang on, isn't that my line? She stole the words right out of my mouth.
After that, she gave her condolences to the Hatsume family. The one inside is not really Hatsume Haruhiro but me though, I do understand though since I didn't grow up with my parents.
Huh? How do I know that? I wondered.
Later I heard from her that she's my mother's cousin and that my grandfather from my mother's side would become my guardian at first but my mother left a will which stated that Futaba-san would become my guardian instead. Seems like my school and living expenses will be paid by Futaba-san as well.
Was this part of the setting? A mob character like me suddenly became the relative of a celebrity?
It would make sense if it were the protagonist, but me?
"I will have you live in my house as well, are you okay packing your luggage by yourself?"
"Yea, I'm fine."
"Of course, We are already a family after all. Our house is also close to the academy. Moreover, I want to deepen the bond in our family so I thought that we all should live together"
I see, well that does make sense. I don't really want to live in the dorms after all. And living with a beautiful relative is more than I could ever ask for.
"Oh right, Futaba-san, don't you live with your daughter? Is she fine with that?"
"Certainly, I had gotten her approval before coming here."
Is that so? I wondered. This seemed like an ero event that would fit the protagonist though.
I'm just a mob character, is such a thing happening to me right? Even if I make any drastic decisions, it wouldn't affect the story at all right?
"Have you eaten yet?"
"Um, no not yet."
When I said that, Futaba-san smiled and nodded. Ah, she's so beautiful…
"Then let's find something to eat and you don't have to worry about the money."
With that said she stood up, called the waiter then paid for the two cups of coffee.
"Thanks."
When I said that, she smiled. Ah, she smiled again…
As we leave the cafe, I was then taken to a fancy looking restaurant.
After that, we have a luxurious meal that I had never eaten before while discussing about my future with Futaba-san.
"The school term will begin in a month from now, when you have finished packing your luggage, send me a message and I will come to pick you up."
I nodded as to her arrangement.
"No worries, once you're done, I will pay for the transfer. Do give me a call when you are done."
"Ah, about that, I don't have a smartphone."
"Let's buy you a phone after this."
"Ok, thanks Futaba-san."
Futaba-san nodded and smiled when I thanked her.
We immediately went to buy a smartphone after our meal. Then I was able to witness the frozen expression on my new mother's face when I asked for the cheapest one in the store.
