Chapter 27: she broke
When Ryan saw Kiara had woken up he brought a cappuccino for her.
Ryan: Are you fine?
Kiara: Ya sir, sorry for the inconvenience.
Ryan: No worries, Kiara.
" Here have this"
Kiara: Thank you sir.
Ryan: Kiara if you doing mind me asking but did you know that woman.
Kiara: uhmm
Kiara knew that she was weak right now and what if she ends up telling everything. So she tried to avoid this..
Ryan: It's okay, if you're not comfortable. I understand.
Kiara: no sir actually. I belong to an orthodox family. I had to get married but unfortunately on my wedding day, my groom and his father met with an accident and they died. that's why I am considered as inauspicious.
Kiara took a long breath, Ryan knew that she was holding her tears, he immediately grabbed her and pulled her against him. Kiara could feel the heart beat of Ryan she did feel awkward but his embrace held a warmth that she longed for, she could not control it and finally clutched him and she broke she sobbed.
Finally after 30 minutes she realized what she had done and calmed herself. Ryan's shirt was wet with her tears but he did not mind it. As long as it was Kiara he had no issues. He did not know why but his heart always seemed to trust Kiara that is why he never inquired about her background. He also seemed as if he had met her before as well.
The pair had dinner, Kiara was still embarrassed that she forgot to make Ryan squeal whether he is the Underworld King or not.
According to what she knew the Underworld King was a very stone hearted person but since she had spent so much time with him she had always seen him being extremely kind hearted towards not only her but other people as well. He had many orphanages under him or other organizations to help the needy ones.
Ryan saw her perplexed face and held her hands and said: Don't worry I wont tell anyone that you have told me and maybe your future will be brighter than your past. By the way, did you love that guy.
Kiara raised her head and looked at his eyes, she knew what answer he was awaiting however she said: Yes I did.. that day I was waiting for...anyways let it be.
Ryan felt his heart sinking but still understood her. Ryan and Kiara went to their room and Ryan asked Kiara to sleep on the bed while he would use the couch but Kiara refused him saying that the couch would be more appropriate for her since she was shorter ultimately, Ryan agreed to what she said.
At Midnight, Ryan who always had trouble sleeping could hear sobs and realized that Kiara was crying in her sleep his heart ached knowing that she was crying for someone else.
Ryan lifted her and placed her on the bed, he layed besides her and embraced her. Smelling her vanilla hair he felt comfortable, He was determined to make this woman his. He hugged her while consoling her, Kiara was still asleep and did not see the satisfying smile of Ryan.
The next morning, Kiara frowned when she realised she was on the bed however Ryan was no where to be seen. She went out and suddenly saw a shirtless sweaty Ryan pouting water on him Kiara gulped, She had to admit that Ryan was very hot his abs were to die for. When Ryan turned, he chuckled when he realized that Kiara was checking him out.
Half an hour later they got out of there to board the flight.
