Summary (ch 1-4)
This is a summary for what's happened in each chapter so far, read this if you didn't understand my chapters that well. Warning: SPOILERS
Prologue// Ch 1
Setting: hospital
People: Mothers, babies, man in grey suit, doctors and nurses
Summary:
- Mothers had given birth to babies in hospital but the babies all start dying
- Doctors are helpless and babies die
- Man in grey suit enters and orders doctors to take corpses of babies into lab
- Turns out one baby survives and the mothers have hope again
- Grey suit man just leaves the room and goes to see baby
- Mothers cry (again)

Ch 2
Setting: university ___ and outside near university
People: professor, Cassandra (main character), Jack (little kid)
Summary:
- After university finishes for Cass, she ends up getting asked out (according to the chapter it has happened 7 times already)
- She rejects the guy (who is actually a little kid), receives the chocolate he gave her still, but then the guy tears up and she feels bad :(
- She ends up befriending him and they go their seperate ways :D
Other main points:
- the kid didn't actually know what a girlfriend was when he asked her out, he just wanted someone to be with him so he's not lonely
- the main character might seem a bit cold and mean, but she's actually a kind soul, only that she knows what reality is ugly and has trust issues (due to past stuff that's happened??)

Ch 3
Setting: Party room
People: Cass (mc), Chloe and Cecilia, (not mentioned specifically) people in her grade
Summary:
- Cass attends grade party for free food
- Its revealed she's pretty, has good grades (smart), popular with boys, isolated by other girls, she hates the party but loves the food
- She is an 'orphan' (revealed in Chloe's and Cecilia's speech)
- Chl & Cec annoy her and she ends up leaving the party

Ch 4
Setting: Cass' residence// room, outside (near ice cream stall)
People: Cass, ice cream man, Jack
Summary:
- she wakes up from a dream about fire and being trapped
- makes breakfast// burns her pancakes
- goes outside for a run to clear her mind
- buys ice cream and while she waits for it she sees Jack again
What I hoped the chapter revealed:
- the dream was a clue to her past
- the technology in her world is quite advanced (FPT is something I made up- at least i think so)
