Chapter 115: SCARLET'S CHILDHOOD(PART 1)
Scarlet falls into deep thought as she recalls her childhood(she did not have the memories of the past).
In a narrow street with very little light, a small gasping sound can be heard. Another voice rose "Are we safe nee-chan?"
The cute little red-haired girl turned towards the blonde boy and said "Shh! quiet down naruto or else we will get caught".
The blonde boy nodded and covered his mouth. Soon voices of people passing by the road can be heard. To their luck, the people passed by the road but did not search the street at the corner.
The little red-haired girl peeked out to check if people have gone and after confirming that they have left she gets relieved. The cute redhead turned towards the blonde boy and giggled. She then said, "We earned today's lunch Naru chan".
Naruto replied while scratching his hair "Nee-chan are you sure that it is okay to steal food. I heard that stealing is a bad thing".
The redhead looked at the boy with a serious look and said: "That bald head was one of the persons who threw stones at us last week, there is no way I will forgive them. The uncle with a big mustache, the one with a goatee and the fat aunty too, I will punish them by making them feed us for a few weeks".
There was slight darkness in her eyes when she said these words.
Naruto gave up as he knew how stubborn his sister was. The redhead then opened the bag which she was holding and bought out the takoyaki. The siblings happily ate the food and rested for a while. Naruto who was lying on the street with one hand on his belly asked "Nee-chan what shall we do next? Are we going home?".
Scarlet frowns and replies "No way, it's too boring at home. Let's play in the forest".
Naruto nods and looks at the sky, so does Scarlet.
At the Hokage's office,
Sarutobi watches this scene in the crystal and laughs "This girl likes to hold grudges but the pain they suffered is too much. I need to make sure that they do not walk a path full of darkness". Saying this he continues to smoke his cigar.
Two children were walking towards the forest, Scarlet was cheerfully rushing forward while Naruto was following up. They end up walking towards a stream and Scarlet stopped there. Scarlet turned around with an excited face and said "Hey Naru chan! Why don't we play a game now?".
Naruto also got excited by hearing his sister's words and nodded excitedly. Scarlet then thought for a while and said "Naru chan let us collect the stones near the river". Naruto complies and gathers stones which are alongside the stream, Scarlet also helps him collect the stones. After gathering enough stones Scarlet says "Yosh! now that we have collected enough stones it's time to make a target".
Scarlet takes a stone from the pile and rushes towards a tree and makes a circle of nearly 30 cm on the tree with the stone she then makes a smaller circle inside it with nearly half of its size. Scarlet then goes towards Naruto and says "Naru chan! Let us now see who can hit more stones on the target".
Naruto excitedly replies "Sure nee-chan, I am definitely going to make this my first win against you ". Naruto knows that Scarlet is much cleverer than him and has always won in any competition among peers but he has never given up. why? Because he is naruto.
Naruto and Scarlet started throwing stones at the tree, Naruto's stones were completely missing the target while Scarlet was getting better as her stones slowly started to approach the tree. After throwing 7 stones and finally Scarlet's stone hit the leaves of the tree. Scarlet then started adjusting the angle of the stone and as a result, she started to get closer to the target.
Finally, after 15 tries she hit her target. Scarlet jumps into the air and shouts "I finally hit it! I won.!".
Naruto puts away the stone and says "I will definitely win the next time".
Scarlet hops onto naruto and says "Don't worry Naru chan, Nee-chan believes in you ".
Naruto feels better as he says "Thank you Nee-chan".
Soon Naruto and Scarlet return home, unknown to them someone watching them.
