Chapter 1: Chapter 1 The Memory
*Layla's point of view*
I was 8 years old and running through the Forest hoping he wouldn't catch me. I heard him crashing through behind me. My muscles aching and my white dress stained with blood. He was gaining on me I had no choice I had to fight... I looked for a place where I could fight I spotted the perfect place. I pushed myself to run faster then I reached my destination I turned around and stood ready to fight. He arrived Lucas smirked and said "You really think you can beat me?" I stayed quiet and got ready to fight. Lucas stood ready to fight he went to kick my stomach I doged. I kicked him in the back his weak spot. I could see the pain across his face I punched him. He wavered for a moment then regained his composure and punched my gut. I then kicked him where the sun don't shine. He fell down on his knees. I punched him over and over trying to defend myself. He eventually pinned me down leaving me no choice but to use my last resort. I focused on fire and channeled it to the tips of my fingers. Enhanced the heat using it on him. He screamed in pain and passed out. I took this as my chance to run a way. I ran until my legs gave out. I passed out.
When I woke up I was confused I was In a unfamiliar place. The room had White Walls and the floor had black carpet. Their was a bookshelf and a grey chair next to it with a table. Their were 3 doors. I was on a bed with grey pillows and soft grey blanket on top of me. I was in a new clothes I was wearing a pink pajama top with feather imprints on it and matching shorts. My white hair was braided.
Their were 2 no 4 no actually 5 adults they were arguing about what to do with me. I groaned sleepily. They then noticed I was awake the first one to talk was a female she looked 20 or 30 she had blond hair and blue eyes she spoke softly she asked "How are you?" I was unsure if I should respond but I finally decided I should I whispered "Y-Yes W-Where am I?" The person next to her a male I guessed her mate He had black hair and green eyes he was muscular and had a alpha arua he responded to my question " Your at our packhouse in a guest room." the girl then said "My name is lilly the man next to me is my mate Jake the person next to him is max the one next to him is Drake and the female next to him is his mate Lisa. What is your name?" I studied the remaining three max has black hair and blue eyes he looked like Jake. Drake had blonde hair and brown eyes he looked related to lilly. Lisa his mate had brown hair and blue eyes. I considered if I should tell them my real name or come up with one. I decided I should tell them my real name I responded " My name is Layla why am I here?" Lily considered her next words she then decided on her words and responded "I found you passed out in the woods what were you doing there and how old are you?" I tried to think about what had happened then it all came rushing back I responded " I don't remember and I am 8 when can I leave?" My question seemed to confuse her but I didn't exactly care I was more interested in leaving. she responded " Whenever your better where are you parents?" I was confused to why exactly she had cared but I decided to tell the truth. " They are dead..." I looked down she seemed surprised but then happy she said " Well you can stay with me and my husband" I was confused why she wanted to take me in. But she seemed nice and I didn't have much of a choice I nodded. Then everything turned black...
