Chapter 3: The Big Reveal
Diana places the tea in the table then sits on the floor "What do you want?" Xander asked "What happened?"she asked as well "Don't want to talk about it" he replied and turned away (we may be the same age but he still acts like a child) she thaught but as she looks to Xander she can't help but feel pity for him "I know we have only met for 2 years and out of all the maids I am the only one different but still I really want to get to know you better not as your maid but as a person, If you can't trust or tell me it's ok I won't push you into telling me or anything but know that no matter what you say or did I'll still stay by your side as you maid" she said with a warm and comforting tone. Xander sat and told her his past "Back when I was a little boy my mother was and always have been into perfection and because of that she would let me do proper manners and adequate, a simple mistake would lead me to punishment. I remember that one time that I got a single mistake in my test and she left me alone in the dungeon for a week with a small meal once a day but it only started when she gave birth to Walter. Before that she was kind,gentle she even sing a song to me before I sleep but when my dad died she went silent, For a year I never heard of her nor seen her as if she never existed but when I heard she gave birth to another baby boy I was happy not only because I have brother but also because I get to see her once more but sadly her personality changed. "You crazy brat! What made you think that you can leave the castle just to go with your friends when you don't even have one?!!" She said that to me when I was little after slapping my face "I'm sorry mother" I cried after realizing that she was right about me not having any friends.. But there was one person who was "Hi!" She said as she waved her arms to me. "Can you help me?!" She shouted cause of the distance between us, she rushed towards me "I'm kinda lost, will you help me?" She asked and of course I helped her in the rooms and directions to the school but when mother found out she was furious, And I never get to see her again. A lot has happened, a lot of horrible moments that I have experienced and because of those moments I decided to rule by my own so I left and never came back. I can still feel the scars and fears on my body every time I remember or hear their names so that's my story. I didn't want to talk about it cause I was scared, scared that maybe it Make me remember the painful times" He said, Diana looked into his eyes and knew that he wanted to cry but he didn't "Why didn't you tell her?" She asked with pity "Because of a promise" he replied "Before my father died we made a promise to take care of my mom since I as well is boy in the family, I knew that my mom was like that because of his death so I didn't so that she wouldn't suffer and isolate herself.....But...I was actually scared of what she might do to me so I waited until I become 15 so that I can escape" he said with a teary voice, Diana felt pity "Back when I was little I was also a coward"Diana said "but... My mother would always tell
me that fear has two meanings: Forget Everthing And Run or Face Everything And Rise the choice is yours" Xander turned away from Diana "Anyways I should be going, Elizabeth wanted some help in the ballroom anyways" she said and left. She walked around the hall and came across prince Walter gazing upon the beautiful garden "Is there something the matter my prince?" She asked with a worried look, and Walter replied "Ah! apologize for worrying you but I'm fine" he smiled but even so he cannot hide his troubled face "My prince even though you smile to me with such brightness you cannot hide such feeling from me" She said so proudly to cheer him up "HAHAHHAHA" he laughed "Apologies for my laughter but you just sound like my teacher back home" "I see" they both gaze upon the beautiful rose garden with admiration "Have you spoken with my brother?" Walter asked "You amaze me with such title to him though he has never treated you like one" said Diana "No matter what he is still my brother wether he treats me one or not" he said with a serious tone "Apologies young master, I spoke out of line" they both went silent then Elizabeth appeared with news "Diana, The queen is visiting you in your room this instant" Elizabeth panted from the running "WHAT?!" she was shocked "Y-yes I'll go" she ran without a doubt. Elizabeth ran towards the main maid dorms but Diana was about to take the dungeon path "WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!" Asked Elizabeth "We are going to the maids dorm, It is only temporary from prince Xander himself" Diana understood a little from the fast talking Elizabeth "O-ok" she replied then dash towards the dorm. They both arrived in the dorm and saw all the maids arranging her temporary room, A maid shouted "THE QUEEN IS HERE!!" all the maids that were cleaning her temporary room scattered and left the room once the intense footsteps of the queen echoed all over the hall. BAM!! the door was slamed by her royal guards and shouted "All ha-" "Please skip the introduction" she interrupted "Of course your majesty" her royal guards bowed as an apology, Millicent sat in a small chair "Your majesty if you are uncomfortable you may sit on my mattress" Diana said to the queen "No need" she replied "would you like some tea?"Diana asked "No thank you" she replied "Kindly wait outside until further instructions captain" she requested "of course" the captain/her royal guard left along with his soldiers "Is there some thing you want to tell me your majesty?" Diana asked as she fidgets her fingers then gulped with a tense feeling "What is your relationship with the prince?" Millicent asked that made the atmosphere intense because of her cold stare "W-what do you mean my queen?" Diana asked (Is she angry because of what happened?) she asked herself "What do you feel about the prince?" "U-um" (Can I say that your son is a very definition of an a**h*le?) "He is quiet handful but even so he is a responsible prince" she said "What makes you think that that brat is responsible?"Milicent asked again "W-what?" Diana was so confuse "You saw what happened in the room, he can't even take care of his own mother how much more a kingdom?" Diana was terrified from the queen's question because of her furious tone but even so she gather up her courage to tell her more about Xander because she was pissed "I'm sorry your majesty but I disagree" then the queen asked "What?!" The cold stare of the queen once again shivered Diana.SLAP!The queen slapped the face of Diana so hard that she landed on the floor "HOW DARE YOU?!DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA WHO YOU JUST DISSENT?!" the queen shouted out of anger "I AM THE QUEEN YOU SHOULD RESPECT ME YOU UNGRATEFUL LITTLE LOW BORN!" "AND YOU SHOULD CARE AND UNDERSTAND YOUR CHILD!" Diana said for she too was angry "Can't you see? Your son is scared of you that's why he ran away. He loved you with all his heart but in return you just tortured him with immense pain. You focus only on your self that you weren't thinking about your son suffering, Why can't you be the mother he onced loved? The mother who cared for him?! The mother that was before the king disappeared?!" the queen was shocked from her words "H-how did y-" "My queen the prince is looking for you" Her soldier bursted throught the door "He is requesting for your absence immediately" Millicent closed her mouth "Understood" she replied then left. "Are you ok?!" asked Elizabeth with concern "Your face. Hold on I'll get the first aid kit" she rushed towards the storage room downstairs "Is your legs ok?" Asked Francis with a calming tone "Here let me help you up" He offered his hand and help her up as they sit on the bed, They helped her with her scars and comforted her. A few minutes later after the incident they saw the queen leaving the prince's office with a smile which shivered down her spine. Prince Walter and the queen left the castle, Later that night, Diana was shocked for her old room/dungeon has been upgraded with a bed, Elizabeth was confused "W-wha-" "AAAAALLLLLLLRRRRRRIIIIIGGGHHHHTTT! I'VE GOT MAH OWN BED!!"She shouted with glee which echoed through the halls, She didn't care if why or who sent her a bed as long as she has her own personal bed than the cold hard bed.
