Chapter 17: Meeting Again
"Are you ready, Nojiko?" Alexander asked her as they left her room after staying there the entire morning.
"Mhm" Nojiko nodded her head in anticipation as she did that she grabbed on hold of his hand and smiled beautifully at him.
He smiled back.
He and Nojiko looked around Water 7 as they went towards the Straw Hats.
He forgot to look for the Straw Hats, so Alexander leads her towards the place where he believed they would be.
When they finally arrived at the place, they looked up towards the text that said, "Galley-La Headquarters" it was a normal-sized building at the edge of Water 7.
When they reached the door, Alexander stood there thinking.
'So how am I going to do this should I kick the door in or maybe walk right in and say Hello? No, that would be boring.'
She looked towards him and understood what he was thinking because he did this last time before arriving at Enies Lobby, she laughed a little while shaking her head.
He couldn't think of anything new and fun, so he went by the plain and boring one.
He walked up towards the door, and when he went inside, he sensed someone attacking him.
When the attacker was near, Alexander moved his left hand to grab the blade coming for his head.
"ZORO!!" Alexander heard when the rest of the people inside the building notice Zoro attacking someone.
"Hello everyone nice to meet you again." Alexander smiled at the people and then directed his gaze towards Zoro.
"So you noticed that I was outside? That's impressive." he said with a little amazement.
'Zoro is impressive as always.' he thought.
"Of course, I notice you when you are standing outside the building!!" Zoro said it as it was just obvious.
Alexander just shook his head in defeat and continued to look around, looking for Nami.
When Nami noticed the man looking towards her, she was frightened at what he was going to do, and he was much stronger than them.
"Hello there, Nami, long time no see." he showed Nami a gentle smile.
'I'm planning on marrying Nojiko, so why shouldn't I be close to my sister-in-law not that I will happen soon, but you can always be prepared you wouldn't want to have a wrong impression on her family would you?' he thought while smiling towards Nami.
Nami was confused as to why he said that and showed such expression, but after thinking for a while of what he said, she finally remembered something.
"It's you!!" she said
"EHHH!!" Luffy and everyone said in unison.
But Robin looked towards Alexander in surprise when she remembered the man.
Sanji looked towards Nami with a hurt expression.
"Nami~san, how do you know this man?"
Nami looked towards Sanji and the others as if they were dumb, but she then forgot that they were, so she just shook her head in defeat.
"You guys are just...sigh...this is the guy on the big purple eagle on Enies Lobby you guys remember now?" she said
"AAH" they said in unison as the now remembered.
"So, where is the big eagle? Eagle Man" Luffy said eagerly while the Usopp and Chopper nodded with the same enthusiasm.
When Alexander heard the last part of what Luffy said, his lip began to twitch.
"My name is Alexander." as he said that his lip continues to twitch.
He looked around and noticed that Sanji seemed to be in deep thought, trying to remember something.
It didn't take long for Sanji to finally remember.
"Now, I remember Zoro, and I saw that eagle in Loguetown, so I was you?" Sanji said with a little curiosity
'That's surprising that Sanji would remember that because it wasn't like I did something major or anything significant to be remembered at that moment.'
"Yes, that would be me."
Nami was also a little surprised that they had met even before that.
Now when she began thinking of the meeting at Enies Lobby, she immediately remembers the most critical part of it.
"Alexander, where is she!!?" Nami said with excitement when she remembers her sister being with him.
He understood what she meant.
"Nojiko" he lovingly said.
Nami immediately picked up on his tone when addressing her sister, which confused her.
As he said that Nojiko walked forward and stood next to Alexander and took hold of his hand and smiled toward her sister with a happy smile and Nami, seeing this immediately understood what this meant.
Nami looked towards Nojiko and began smiling mischievously, and when Nojiko noticed her gaze, she started to get a little hint of red on her cheeks.
Alexander noticed it and just let out a little laugh.
When Nojiko heard him laugh, she began pinching his waist with a little pout.
"Weren't you suppose to be the mature one of the sisters?" he *teasingly whispered in her ear.
When Nojiko heard that her blush become redder and she stops pinching him, Nami noticing their behavior just shook her head, but you could see that she was jealous.
"Stop with all the lovey-dovey stuff or take it somewhere else." she said
Sanji had been making a sad face watching the lovey-dovey couple in front of him.
'Why can't Nami be so lovey-dovey with me?' he sadly thought.
With the mood up and everyone seemed to be having fun, time went fast, and night soon came.
Alexander and Nojiko talked with everyone happily, but Alexander mostly spent his time talking to Zoro as he wanted to know how to train more effectively. Still, there weren't many new things he learned from him so he even spent some time with Nami and getting to know her a lot more and getting to know a few secrets of Nojiko from her childhood and other stuff, so he and Nojiko had fun today.
"Well, it's been a good time getting to know you guys better, and I hope we see each other again someday." he told them with a smile.
When he spent time with the Straw Hats, he had fun and thought of them as real friends.
But he never had any plans of joining them, just having them as friends is good enough for him.
Under the day, they often asked him if he wanted to join them, but he declined cause he felt that they had different paths even if Alexander himself didn't know what road he wanted to take.
So when they were just about to depart, Nami came forward and grabbed Nojiko's hand with a playful smile on her face.
"Nami?" she said in confusion when Nami grabbed her hand so suddenly.
"Nojiko, you are coming with me we have some girl stuff to talk about with Robin and me."
When Alexander heard that and looked towards Nami, he began to understand what she wanted and sighted.
"Wait Nami..." Nojiko couldn't say much as Nami began to drag her toward the house, so she just looked towards Alexander with a pleading expression telling him to help her, but he just smiled gently and waved goodbye.
"Have a great girls night now, Nojiko."
'Seems like I'm all alone tonight.'
