Chapter 2: Memories
Nicolette walked down the stairs, to find her mom making breakfast, her 15 year old sister on her phone, and her younger 3 year old sister watching Sesame Street. "Good morning Nicolette!"
Her mom said. "I'm making eggs, bacon, and pancakes!"
Nicolette's mom proceeded to put a plate down in front of each chair. "One for Nicolette, one for Sunny, one for Desire, one for me, and one for dad."
Everyone stopped to look at her. Nicolette's mom had forgotten that her husband died when he was serving in the military.
