Chapter 3: Improvement
It wasn't until Izuku twelfth birthday did his Father came back. It was only a short visit but it meant a lot to Izuku because his Mother was growing more and more distant, Izuku new that there were problems in his parents marriage but he didn't like how he had to suffer through it as well.
When his Father walked into the apartment surprising everyone the air instantly grew tense. While he and Bakugo practically hated each other their Mothers however didn't and so Inko invited them to his birthday.
"Oh... I didn't know the Bakugos would be here" His Father's obvious dislike of the Bakugo family was apparent as always.
"Hisashi what are you doing here?" Inko asked.
"I came here to see my son and spend some time with him"
"Can you wait until after they leave. After all they are here to see Izuku" Inko replied.
"Yes, I can see that. It's why I offered in the first place. Izuku"? Hisashi said.
"Coming Father" turning around Izuku said "goodbye Mother, we'll be back in a few hours".
And with that the pair left.

"Report" Hisashi said to Izuku now that the two were in their room at the quirk gym.
"Since I have started going here I have many many discoveries" Izuku started. "I have increased strength, speed, durability and especially agility and perception. I am now able to create up to six portals almost instantly but if I can only make two of them for transportation, the rest I can use as weapons by firing lasers of pure energy but I must overlay two portals to achieve this. The lasers from the portals power is adjustable from a small prickly to being able blast through many types of metal. Any questions yet?" Izuku asked his Father.
"Yes, before I left you were only able to create your portals one at a time by twisting your hand. What change? And can you please elaborate on your laser ability, mainly the ability to 'blast' through metal as lasers are normally more... precise" Hisashi asked.
Taking one of the sheets of metal Izuku had left in the room last time he was there he then proceeded to create lasers. Each one grew a few centre meters, originally the smaller laser simply cut through the metal but as the lasers grew larger the metal was being destroyed by the sheer raw power of the lasers. Once he finished his demonstration Izuku said "does this answer your question"?
"So the bigger the laser and portal the more raw power and in effect the more damage"
"Exactly!" Izuku squealed. Both the Midoriyas truely love quirks. "Now for the other questions. When I originally make portals I was just pushing the energy into my hands which would cause a slower creation because I had the energy go into my hands and circle my palms then into my fingers but now I have the energy flowing through my body completely so I now have no delay in making portals."
"You have made great progress Izuku, well done" Hisashi said with a smile "but I must ask... are there any fatal effects of your portals beside the lasers"? He said with his smile now faded.
"... yes. While inorganic objects can stay in my portals for an unknown amount of time if I close a portal on an organic or living being whatever's in the portal will be cut off what ever is still inside and will disappear. If the second portal is open whatever's on each side will be cut off and remain here and not in my portals". Izuku answered hesitatingly.
"Does your quirk give you some sort of spatial awareness" Hisashi asked because of Izuku's very obvious dislike of the previous discussion.
"I think so... kinda, it's like I can sense my portals so if I left the room I would know a general idea of what's happening but I cannot make a portal that's not in my eyesight"
Hisashi waited for while Izuku had stopped talking he hadn't finished his report.
"Father..."
"Izuku want is it?" Hisashi asked, Izuku clearly wasn't going to continue without a push.

So I left it here for a number of reasons.
Number 1 of course was that the chapter was getting a bit long for me.
And number 2 is a question. What powers do we want Izuku to have? Because honestly it has had me stumped. So the opinions are:
- Izuku is a dragon hybrid thing.
-Izuku has stasis (and I will have to change the last chapter).
-Izuku has elemental powers (air earth and fire and all cannon magic elemental in Wakfu but we can also add ice, water, dark, light, lightning. All of these elements were original going to be add to the show but the creators had changed their minds) the elements will have to go with option 1 or 2 though.
Really it just depends on how op/how far Izuku has gone with his portal creation and keep in mind Izuku will be getting One for All.

a_wizard_did_it so although it was never added in the show i myself will be adding more elemental abilities in the story. So, the corresponding elements are wakfu/energy; fire, light, lightning, water and the rest (air, water, ice, dark) are stasis elements.
