Chapter 57: Accidentally Done
" You are kidding me right? "
Asked a mist ninja with bird mask, his partner, with a cat mask quickly gestured him to keep his voice down.
" This absolutely happened, no joke. "
The first guy was totally thrown out of his game.
" Mei sama actually did something like that?? Why didn't she didn't just melt him? "
The cat masked ninja excitedly said.
" It was an accident, you see there came this new guy to the hideout, no identification on him, said he wanted to talk about the coup, we didn't know back then, the guy is a serious big shot. "
The first guy nodded, so the second one continued.
" Mei Sama was in that hideout, that guy looked good, really good, so Mei sama started her usual antics. "
The first guy scoffed as he laughed.
" Her marriage antics- "
" Hey keep quiet! She'll hear us you moron! You wanna melt to death be my guest, just leave me out of this. "
First guy quickly shook his head, joke, he wasn't about to give his head away for nothing.
" Yeah so, she came up to him, called him the best looking man she has ever seen. "
First guy replied.
" And he feel into her trap? "
The second shook his head.
" No, that guy was no slouch either, he complimented her looks right back, that got Mei sama excited, she was ready to melt him into goo. "
First one nodded, he understood Mei sama might act like that, but she was an incredibly dangerous Kunoichi, figuring an outside source was privy to their coup, she decided to eliminate him right then and there.
Answers can be searched form corpses too!
The second one cleared his throat as he continued his story.
" Then, Mei sama said she really hates destroying good looking men, but she will give him a kiss before that. "
The first guy nodded, that was Mei sama's normal mode of operation, her so called kiss is either a mouthful of acidic mud or boiling hot steam.
Of course, all of it she delivers from her lips, so her calling it kiss isn't wrong, they just are either flying kisses of death or straight up melting pool of magma.
" Mei sama approached the guy, he didn't try to rush out, just kept looking at her with a funny smile on his face. "
The first asked
" Did he think she was joking? Or was he unable the move because you guys had him surrounded? "
The second guy shook his head.
" Neither, that's what we thought as well, but that guy is just all kinds of crazy. "
Looking at the First, Second continued.
" Mei sama came near him, got onto her tip toes, and slowly approached his lips. "
The first one gulped, it was hard to understand if it was from fear of Mei or her charms.
Second one took a second to word his sentence correctly. Then started speaking.
" When she had approached his lips completely, it happened! "

The second one made a foosh sound from his mouth, exhaling hot air, but the first knew what he was talking about, Mei sama wasn't exhaling air, she exhaled boiling corrosive gases!
" Then.. then did he melt? He took that to his face right? "
The second nodded his head, then clicked his tongue.
" You are half right, he took that to his face, but he didn't die. "
Before the first could question him, the second continued.
" He didn't die, because it passed right through him! But here's the thing, the boiling hot steam did pass through him, but Mei sama didn't! "
The first one opened his mouth as he understood the implications.
" Then Mei sama?! "
The second nodded.
" Yes, she actually met his lips, and ended up kissing him for real. "
The first was aghast! What the hell, Mei sama actually kissed someone?! With all her bravado, she had zero practical experience, how could she? She melted everyone she liked to death!
He could only imagine Mei sama's shock back then.
The second continued.
" What are you shocked about, that isn't even the half of it! "
The first exclaimed.
" There is more?! "
The second quickly caught first's mouth as he looked around to check if anyone had heard them.
Giving him a look which told him to be quite, the second continued after the first apologized with his gestures.
" Yes, what happened next could only be described as absurd. "
The second drank a sip of water then he continued amongst the first's excited gaze.
" The man understanding he was attacked, swiftly put his own palms behind her head, in a fatal spot, and Mei sama realising she was compromised, decided to hold him in place so he doesn't escape like last time. "
The first's eye twitched, he understood where this was going.
" Mei Sama and that man had each other cornered, the first one to lose focus would die, but neither the man nor Mei Sama could move because each one held the others life in their hands! "
The first man then continued the second's story having understood what this was turning out to be.
" And the only way they could win was if the other lost focus first, they needed to distract each other, but because they couldn't move their body, they moved the only thing they could- "
The second nodded as he finished.
" Their tongues. "
Slapping his forehead the first groaned.
" So they both just stood there, in the secret base, hugging and kissing each other all that time!?! Couldn't you guys have attacked him or something?? "
The second one scoffed as he said.
" Like we didn't think of that, he could somehow turn intangible remember!? We don't know what triggered that state, and if the attack missed it would have hit Mei sama instead. "
The second continued
" In fact Mei sama didn't just quit, she was emanating hot steam from her entire body all that time, but none of that affected him, passed right through him. "
Smacking the floor, the second said
" That stunt of her in fact stopped us from going to the rescue in the first place! We couldn't even get near them! "
The second asked the first to come closer as he whispered.
" I'll tell you a secret, they say she kept releasing steam even after knowing it didn't work the first time is because she was trying to see, if he has a time limit to his intangible state. "
Smirking he said lightly
" But I don't think so.. you know, how she always talks about giving kisses but hasn't given any, so she was losing their game of death kiss very hard, in a few seconds she would have been the one to lose concentration first! "
The first listened as the second told his version.
" Don't tell anyone, I think Mei sama kept us away because she wanted to have a real kiss before inevitably dying, you know, even we could see that she was about to lose. Death was almost a guarantee for her. "
The first one was flustered.
" Hey! Is she alright then?! What happened?? "
The second waved his hand
" She's fine, she lost terribly, she had even accepted her fate, I could see that from her smile, but then the man did the unthinkable. "
Impatiently asked the first
" What?? "
The second said softly.
" He let her go.. Removed his hand from the back of her head, choosing to leave her brain's fatal point which was within his reach. "
Gulped the first man.
" Then what happened? "
The second one smiled as he said.
" Then he said the same words he had said back then. "
Second lightly spit out his words.
" I am here for the coup! "
