Chapter 1: Backstory

A year ago there was a family that lived in a valley, many homes, stores, and other areas. It was like a little town in this little valley.

One day in the calm valley town. A girl was upset with her life. She had nothing except her family but even that seemed to slip away from her. She had enough. One especially bad day she decided to let go. As soon as she kicked over the chair she wanted to stop, it hurt so bad. Even with her brother's intervention, she was too far gone. One of her lungs had collapsed from the beating earlier by her tormentors and her asthma. Her wrists were slit and there were pools and pools of blood. He tried to call his mom and his dad to get help but by the time they came she had already been dead in his arms. His screams of anguish echo through the house and throughout the valley. But that sorrow would soon turn into a fiery fury that swept throughout the quiet town.

Over just a span of months, terror had spread across the town. It was subtle and slow-acting. Newcomers didn't even know the danger they were in until they met the boy. He didn't attack people on the street beside the tyrants that took away his sister but the aura he gave off was the problem. He radiated hostility and grief into his cheerful surroundings, withering any last ounce of happiness away. His friends tried to help him but they never got that far with him, only a few staying by his side till he was only left with one. All the anger he had pent up inside had also affected his family, his dad had changed. He saw the havoc that fallen onto his town and his wife pleads to find different options for his son before their last resort.

They tried just about everything from mood regulators to therapy. The medications worked, but after a while, he stopped taking it and they couldn't force him to. It only took a few therapy sessions to realize it wouldn't work, just the idea of talking about him in any way set him off. During these sessions, he would either curse at the therapist or refuse to say anything. The only thing that seemed to work was just screaming harsh nothings into the open air with his mom. His mom patting his back and wiping away his tears. However, after a while, he stopped opening up to her and started getting worse.

After weeks and weeks, there was very little progress happening. He started acting out against others, family, friends, random people. His father finally had enough. It was a cool evening when he asked the boy to go outside. He was hesitant as he sat in front of the withering garden. He took out a bottle he had and watered them, they hadn't been watered since his sister died and she despised when he touched it.

He didn't know why he was out there, or what his dad was doing till it was too late. His head was pulsing and his ears were ringing, he could feel the blood trickling down from the new hole in his head. He could hear his mother screaming through the ringing. His body went limp 'I'm dying! I'm dying!!!' He thought with his last breath.

He felt himself fall, it was hot, almost like a fever dream. He wanted to look around but couldn't bear to open his eyes, in fear of what he would see. It felt like he was falling for hours. Soon he hit the floor, his eyes opened feeling a shock in his side. The impact did not hurt however as he ran his hands across the feathery bedding. "Where am I?.." he whimpered out.

He got up, patting around his body to see if he had any extra injuries. The hole in his temple was gone only replaced by a little dent in his head. Further along, his side was his ears who were cat ears of some sort. He checked his back to find a bobbed tail. Looking upward he found two soft feathery wings. He touched his head to find two small curled horns. He looked at his hands to find his nails replaced with claws. He then went to pat his chest to find some fluffy fur.

After he got over his weird transformation he looked around, he was in a strange cave. The walls were covered in growing and decayed vines and roses. There was a ring around the bedding, it was filled with lava incased an unknown clear tube. The bedding was not just feathers but a pillow-like mattress underneath. He got out of the feather pit and looked back only to hear a voice.

"Hello Max, we've been waiting for you, welcome to Hell"
