Chapter 3: 3. Debt Collection
'First off.. I need to make my way to Mark's house.. Thankfully I was sure to analyze his soul before it disappeared and I was able to make out a few things.' Sin was thinking about his plans while he walked towards what he believed to be Mark's house.
'I need a sure fire way to regain my power, I think that the Soul Devouring skill is a bit much for right now and too showy... I know, I'll first start creating a mage tower..' As Sin was in the middle of deep thinking with a serious look on his face he was interrupted by a shady looking man in a black suit, he was kind of tiny but had an extremely pointy noise.
"Mark! I've been looking all over for you! Your debt has been due for months!" The man shouted out, this was clearly a loan shark.
"It appears.. I need to make it known that we are not ones to be messed with.." The loan shark said this with a smile and quietly. He then used his fingers to motion for 8 men to enter the street, they all had bats, knives, and one even had a nail gun!
"I see.." Sin said as he looked at each one. He wasn't worried, he's a master in many different martial arts for if he ever ran out of his mana, he was prepared.
All at once the thugs rushed at Sin but he was dodging every bat swing, every knife stab, he even dodged a nail that went right by his head! He hit them in their faces but due to the body physique of Mark there wasn't any damage. The entire fight was the thugs just attempting to land a hit on Sin but were never able to!
The Loan Shark's mouth was agape, he couldn't believe it! When he lends out loans he ensures he does a thorough background check and never saw that Mark was this outstanding!
After an hour of this "fight" the thugs just passed out from exhaustion. The man was clearly sweating and was worried, he pulled out a gun and said; "You pushed me.. give me my money or die punk!" The man's grip on the gun was shaking and he was close to squeezing the trigger!
"Money? You're not qualified to rob me!" Sin responded with confidence, he then used some of his magic, he had no mana and was forced to use some of his blood as a catalyst, he enhanced his physical abilities to the maximum!
*BOOM*
The man shot the gun directly at Sin's head! Wheezing as he pulled the trigger but to his surprise Sin had dodged the bullet, and redirected it with just his hands towards the loan shark's head! He was then killed, just like that.
"Hmph. Trash like you can't hope to even think of beating me." Sin stepped over his body and proceeded to walk into his ransacked house.
